“Admittedly, I was very picky about the details I wanted for my wedding cake. I found portions of past cakes that Maxine had made and frankensteined together my dream creation. Maxine was very patient and helpful during this design process and nailed my vision. It was beautiful and delicious! She even worked with my florist to add some accents. She was also the only person in the area I could find willing to deliver, which was a huge plus for me (who wants the stress of a dropped cake on their wedding day?).“

“This is another great example of the fabulous diners in Kingston! We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Mia our server was exactly what you want, friendly and informative of the menu. Her smile could light up a room! The food was prepared timely and it was absolutely delicious!!! It's a very busy place in the afternoon but don't let that deter you, you will be taken care of!! I look forward to my next visit to NY and my next visit to KVD!!“

“Maria and her team are fantastic - amazing - wonderful. She is a consummate professional, easy to communicate with, and provides the most delicious, satisfying food and impeccable service. She helped pull together a custom dinner for 80+ starving rock climbers without skipping a beat. She predicted our hungry behavior better than I could!! Everyone raved about the food (pasta, salad, main dishes, gluten free pasta, cookies = delish!), and we can't wait to come back to New Paltz and work with her again in the future. “I could scream this place is so good. Went on a totally random whim looking for something nearby and holy hell this place is incredible in every way and if I lived anywhere nearby I would basically move in.
The vibes are amazing - such highly curated art and seating from intimate booths to living room sofas and chairs. There’s tons of varied seating up front and then more tables and a wraparound bar in the back. It feels like a cozy 70s basement bar in Greenpoint.
Then there’s the food, omg. We tried the deviled eggs, fried chicken, brisket nachos, fries, and kale salad. All were 10/10. And cocktails were also delish.
Fave new place and will seek it out at all costs any time I’m upstate.“
