“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. I hope to return soon.“

“I couldn’t get a picture of anyone’s food since we all dug in right away but the food here is amazing! We had their Birria tacos, a steak meal and a steak fajitas meal—chef’s kiss! They were very kind, welcoming and family oriented here. The place is small, I will say, it’s way smaller than I expected but nonetheless, we were quickly seated and the music was good the entire time. This was a memorable experience , thank you!“

“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. “The food is good and has been very consistent. The tortillas taste homemade and the salsa is great. I’ve ordered 3 times and I haven’t had any issues other than maybe forgetting my salsa one time. I really enjoyed the battered fried shrimp tacos a lot. Pricey but worth trying and giving a chance.“

“Had an amazing GF experience! Service was top notch and so friendly. All the tacos and sides were the kind you never want to end. Even got some in lettuce wraps. Recommend: Everything! “IT WAS HORRIBLE. AS A MEXICAN I DO NOT APPROVE, THIS PLACE HAD BAD BAD FOOD, FIRST OF ALL THEY SERVED ME AN ORANGE WITH TACOS, WHO DOES THAT? WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND GIVE ORANGES WITH TACOS, NUH UH. ALSO, I FOUND OUT THAT THEIR GUACAMOLE IS NOT EVEN MEXICAN RECEPIE, IT TASTED LIKE WASABI WITH TOO MUCH MAYO EXPECT IT WAS NOT EVEN WASABI, AND ALSO THERE WERE NOT ONLY HAIRS IN MY FOOD BUT THERE WA A FRAKING ROACH SINGING LA CUCARACHA WITH MEXICAN HAT AND LITTLE TINY MARACAS. “Came to this place 2 years ago and the food was amazing. After 2 years the quality of the food and service hasn’t changed. The oysters are super fresh, the michelada is so good as well. I also tried the steak tacos, birria mulitas, and the quesadillas al pastor. All the food is super fresh. Definitely recommended. A must place to go for.

“Had the breakfast burrito 🌯 been wanting to get to this place for a while.
Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The chorizo was the one I went with definitely wasn’t disappointed.
I don’t think it’s worth a far drive but if you’re in the area or it’s not completely out your way it’s definitely worth stopping in for a visit. The place does have seating but not a lot of room. There is a park near by and lots of outdoor seating near the area. That’s what I chose to do.
The breakfast burrito price was amazing especially for nyc the food was good quality and really delicious. The sauce everyone was talking about wasn’t over powering. Matter of fact I wish I had more next time I’ll ask for some on the side felt like I needed an extra pump 😂.
I truly enjoyed this place and I’m sure you guys will also the coffee was mid but it’s ok food makes up for it.

“This is the best Mexican restaurant, I used to order via DoorDash a couple of years now but nothing beats the service in person. The atmosphere is great, the staff is kind. I didn't get the lady at the counters name but she made sure my daughter enjoyed her birthday. I can't thank her enough. GO TO EL CHILTEPIN IN PERSON!!!! ♥️“

“I have no real complaints. Our first server I guess went home early but the Host with curly hair and light eyes and the tall gentleman made sure everything was very well taken care of.. The viral Soft Serve Mango/ Strawberry margarita was on point and so was the guac... Happy Cinco De Mayo..“

“Decades ago I used to frequent a bar in the Village called Burrito Loco. We always had the same server/bartender. I went there A LOT. Fast forward to about 10 years ago. I was living in Pal Park and I had a craving for Mexican food. I saw this place in Fort Lee and I decided to go there to eat. It's a moderately sized place with nice decorations. Festive, clean and well lit. I'm not sure what I ordered (probably enchiladas or a shrimp dish) but I do remember it being pretty good. During this visit our waiter (the owner) said to me "you used to go to Burrito Loco right? I remember you". What?! I could not believe it! It had been over 2 decades since I had been there! I guess I left a lasting impression back then and hadn't aged much (yellow don't mellow lol). To this day I am still shocked! Anyway, while living in Pal Park I ordered from here once in a while. Delivery always took forever! Currently I live back in my hometown of Englewood. There are a few great authentic Mexican places nearby (no, not Blue Moon. It's not "authentic", it's Tex-mex......I worked there for 4 years a long time ago). I was in the mood for a different Mexican place so I decided to order from here through GrubHub. The food came earlier than estimated and was still nice and hot. Portions were great, order was packed well, and they sent free chips and salsa (I hate when places don't send chips and salsa or bread for free when it's free when you dine in). Everything was very good, but fell short on a couple of things......the shredded beef in the tacos was surprisingly bland. I felt horrible for my man because it was the only thing he had (he doesn't eat rice & beans). My burrito Poblano was awesome BUT not nearly enough of that delicious mole sauce. They need to put some of that sauce inside the burrito too. Overall I will definitely order from here again. Maybe I'll even stop in to say hi to Arturo!“

“First time dining at this restaurant. The food was excellent. Service was very attentive and atmosphere great. It's always a mystery on how loud a place can be and this was perfect. The live music was a nice surprise too. I had the stuffed Shrimp wrapped in Bacon and my husband had a combo - Tostada, Enchilada and Stuffed pepper. Delicious.“

“SoCal girl’s opinion - the tamales are exceptional. They are large, an entree size for sure and the masa is so fluffy, not dry at all. I made a large order for Christmas. Ordering days ahead, they also made a mild chicken version for children with seasoning but no spice. After the party I froze the leftover ones and reheated them in the steamer and they are still 100.“

I love the sauce that was on the buffalo wings girl fajita Texans amazing enchilada Sousa everything was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected medical emergency during our visit, and I have to recognize how outstanding the staff handled the situation.
They responded immediately with urgency, professionalism, compassion, and full attention. Everyone stayed calm, focused, and dedicated to making sure help was provided quickly. It was truly impressive to witness a team that not only delivers great hospitality, but also rises to the occasion during a serious moment.
That level of care says everything about the character of this establishment. Rio Bravo has an exceptional staff, and I highly recommend this restaurant for both their amazing food and the genuine care they show people.“
