“My favorite pizza spot of all time. Def recommend the buffalo chicken ranch and their spinach and pepperoni pinwheel. Mouth watering and always a joy to take back home to Maryland. Service is great, no matter who answers the call my order is ready in 15-20 minutes. The staff are nice and welcoming and channel 12 news or whatever game could be on the screen. There is also a good selection of music playing. Hofstra university is around the corner so they do offer a student 10% discount. Dining area is kept clean and sometimes the Bathroom is out of toilet paper/towels.“

“Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. “We hosted our daughter's first birthday here with 40 people on a Sunday afternoon. Working with Ervis and Gabriella was fantastic -- great communication and very flexible. The event turned out better than we could have expected. The food is AMAZING. Everybody is still raving about it and a few of our family members have already been back! “This restaurant can lend itself to a very noisy environment. Yet today, with several tables taken, conversation was easy and able to be heard. We have been here several times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner. Delicious salad with greens, grape tomatoes and fresh red onions cut over a chicken milanese. Companions enjoyed their choices of crab cake benedict and a large cubano sandwich served with homemade shoestring fries. Shared their homemade flourless chocolate cakes served with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Three happy people after an excellent brunch.“

“20/10 Westbury Manor was more than I could have imagined. It rained on my wedding day and all the staff worked their butts off to make sure my day went perfectly, and it did!!! This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Upon booking, I spoke with Mike. He was one of the first reasons why I wanted to book with WBM. Any questions I had, Mike was always there to give me the information I needed. Sandra was the next person I worked with and she was also just as amazing. The BEST part of my day was Phil, our Matre’d and Claudia our bridal attendant. These two are sensational!!!! Talk about TEAMWORK!!!! They were running out in the rain for me, carrying the train on my dress, keeping us cool calm and collected all day and got us anything that we needed. The list goes on for these two on how hard they worked and how much they did for us. Both of them were at our sides all day to make sure everything was up to par. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. We received so many compliments on Phil and Claudia and how wonderful they were to our guests as well as my husband and I. If you want to feel like Royalty on your wedding day, WBM is the venue for you. Jerry, the owner, even came up to my husband and I to make sure we were happy. I am now looking for ANY reason to book another celebration at WBM!!!“

“Italian restaurant in Roslyn village but not easily seen as its set back by the water. Food is good, service was good. Noisy and dark, needed a flashlight to see the menu.Sales are large size. “Here to celebrate a birthday. What a hidden gem! The ambiance was beautiful and intimate, the food absolutely delicious and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Everyone was sooo nice. “Have passed this pizzeria many times and never went in cause I just thought the parking was too difficult . Someone told me today that this was their favorite pizza in Plainview ( it at the border of Plainview and Hicksville on Woodbury road and south oyster bay road). I asked why and he said , it's the cheesiest! Anyway, I decided to try it and was very pleased. I had a cauliflower pizza which was excellent and I could present it was healthier. The regular slice was also good and really cheesy as promised. Inside the dining room is nicer than you can tell from the outside. The staff are efficient and accommodating. You can park on the street , but they DO have a parking lot in back, around the corner. Gotta say, although I haven't been here for 28 years, I plan to return.“

The food is amazing the new additions like the spinach and artichoke dip keep us coming back but what really makes us keep coming back is the hospitality. “Similar to other Mother Kelly’s this place has a fantastic menu of beer (and ciders and wines if that’s your jam). The game changer is the pizza, it is simply amazing. A whole pizza is MASSIVE although quite a thin crust so manageable between a couple of you. They sell it by the slice too. Had some birthday drinks there recently with a group of people and they went down a treat. Don’t know if they still serve the meat and cheese platters, don’t care - get a pizza.“

I 've worked through the menu in pizza and pasta items, and it is definitely thin crust NYC rooted, but also is just full of flavor. The round grandma is a gimmick, but is still delicious. The spinach and white pizza is the best I ever had. The baked ziti is cheesed top to bottom, not just one drop of ricotta like most places. Found these guys just this year, and now they're my go to. “Ardito's is staple of the community there in Mineola. Anyone who knows Rosa and Tony will agree with me that they are both amazing. The food is always on point and handed to you with a smile. The lunch hours can get pretty crowded and busy but is worth the wait. I recommend Arditos for everything from sandwiches to salads and pasta.. eggplant parm to die for and some of the best chicken cutlets I have ever had!“

“We had my mothers' 90th birthday last Saturday and we are very pleased with the entire experience. Robbie was a pleasure to work with, he answered all our questions and was helpful with the food choices and the entire setup. I was surprised the restaurant does not market their establishment date with their motto, as 14+ years is no small feat. My original visit a few years ago, attending an event with my colleagues bundled in a smaller section of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. It had myself questioning whether I should attend yet another milestone event squished in a corner. After succumbing to the pressures as to why I should attend, I was pleased that this evening's Jan 2024 Retirement Dinner, was set up in the larger part of the restaurant. Great company. Entering from the main door you are met with a warm, cozy glow on the smaller, bar side of the restaurant and then an immediate separation to the larger main dining area. The main area allowed the space needed for co-workers not seen in ages an opportunity to mingle freely. Much more comfortable. Good food. A small sample of the Berkshire Pork Chop was perfectly prepared. I definitely recommend. My Almond Crusted Stuffed Chicken Breast was a savory, sweet dish with the accompanying mashed Sweet Potatoes. Another perfect combination. To add to the pleasantries of the evening, our obviously skilled servers offered prompt, satisfactory service. Any request I or my table companions made were fulfilled without any necessary follow up. There may have been exceptions, though all appeared content with the service. Service counter is always on top of their game cause the place can get packed, so staff is always working hard to get you your order done. Only a handful of high tops inside to eat your slice at but the business is set up perfectly to go in and grab your order on the go, but in the nicer weather they do a great job setting up picnic tables.outside to enjoy great pizza and the warm weather. “We had a pleasant visit to Luogo's. All the meals and appetizers were perfect. The sangria was amazing. I doubted our server when I saw he didn't write down our very large order but was relieved when he came back around to confirm he had my meal correctly. It's not a place I'd go back to by choice but defiantly wouldn't mind coming back if someone chooses this place for their birthday again. The vibe of this place is very nice, romantic, dress up nice and go in a date kind of place. I did see kids here but I wouldn't pick this as a place to bring younger children to. One thing I didn't like too much was one of the workers here knew someone from out party and kept coming over having side conversations and even bought him and only him a shot of some fancy cognac which was kind of rude seeing as he could of atleast offered the birthday girl (very clear by the balloons who we were celebrating) a shot as well. We were a party of about 14 so I get not getting a round for the table.“

“Although the place was busy for a Friday, we were seated immediately at the bar. Food choices is mostly italian and a brick over pizza. Bar service is good Adrian the bartender makes the best Martinis.. Tried the wild berry cosmo and I'm addicted. Also tried the coconut Martini which was also quite good. Pours are generous. For appetizers the Octopus was quite good. Served with Hummus and Crisps.. You will eat everything in the plate.. Perfect compliments. For my entree.. Had the RVC pizza.. White sauce pizza with toppings which included Prosciutto, arugula and parmigiana cheese. Fantastic... Will make this a part of my regular rotation“

“Gio's has become one of my favorite restaurants to dine. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is truly the best, so friendly and accommodating. My husband and I have dined here 3 times (twice bringing friends). We look forward to bringing more people with us that haven't experienced it yet. My go to dish is the Veal Sorrentino, I can't get enough of it. It really is “the best in the city”. Last night we also had the Bolognese, it was perfect and the stuffed artichoke. Sop up the sauce with their delicious bread. Great cocktails and wine too. Everything we had has been amazing and flavorful. Kudos to Deena (hope I spelled correctly). She's a gem!!“
