“We took two of our kids here the other night, and it was amazing! The food has quality ingredients and every recipe is great. My favorites were the shrimp burger and Mac and cheese, but my kids both devoured the wings and fish! The Rasta pasta sauce is just right as are the yams. And as a refreshing, lighter peace of the flavor packed meal were the flavored limeades. We had peach and raspberry- so good! My husband pointed out that they would have been great as adult beverages as well! :). Pricing is more than fair. The service is friendly, welcoming and patient. We definitely recommend Gretel and Sons!“

“I was craving collard greens - and looking for a new place to try. I found Village BBQ on line and was impressed with the reviews so off I went. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“
