“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. “The experience was great thanks to Jeff. I needed help finding a macallan lumina whiskey which is hard to find unless it was on a cruise or duty-free shop. The process was easy by calling in to see if they have it in stock and to order it. They packaged it nicely and had no problem picking it up a month after the purchase. “NYC steakhouse experience without the drive. Ambiance is top notch. High end decor but my kids felt very comfortable here. Food was very good. Steaks cooked and seasoned perfectly. French onion soup was full bodied. Mashed was smooth. Corn was different in a good way, have to try to understand. Only criticism i can make is the rest of the meal was so good that the dessert wasn't on the same level. It was still fine. Overall excellent experience, will definitely go back.“

“I've been to this location a handful of times. I was waiting for a friend so I sat at the bar for about 25 minutes and was served by Scarlett. She was super friendly and made me a couple of tasty cocktails. It wasn't super busy so I was able to get serviced fast and efficiently. When my friend arrived, we migrated to the dining area to eat. I believe our servers name was Mike. A young man that I recognized from my previous times at the restaurant. He was super knowledgeable of the menu and was a pleasure to have. Overall a great experience. The only thing I felt different from the previous times I dined at the restaurant was it felt like the employees were speaking more script like, like the company told them to say xyz to the customers. Felt fake and forced. These employees are good without being told what to say.“

“Tarry Tavern for dinner: Mom had Seared maine sea scallops with local corn and leek risotto and I got the roasted Hudson valley duck breast with pecan cranberry wild rice and sunchoke purée. Unreal. Mom cleaned her plate at a restaurant for the first time in ages and mine was to die for. We shared the pumpkin pecan bread pudding for dessert. “We took my husband and dad out for Father's Day looking for a wonderful time. With any holiday you know it's going to be busy and we anticipated some wait of course. Boy we were left more than disappointed with the overall experience with this restaurant. We had a reservation on the deck, but after being initially seated inside, my husband mentioned the outside status and we were gruffly seated to an outside table. The menu looked delish and we ordered some mimosas which the waiter said came with the specials. We got the drinks right away but had to flag down our waiter to place our breakfast order. Everyone around us got bread and olives and when I asked if we were getting it he said it just for lunch, but it was brunch! Everyone around us who came before us is getting their meals and we are just sitting there. We didn't get our food until over an hour later and mine and my dad's order was incorrect. When I got up to mention this and speak to the manager, to add insult to injury the manager can't show his face, he sends another waiter to talk to us. The waiter apologizes on his behalf and says that in order to make us happy we will be comped for my dad's and my meal. We say thank you and tell him we feel horrible he was to be put in this position. We get up to use the bathroom and get things going with the check and the waiter hands me the bill. The manager is standing right there. I see that there is a charge for the Mimosas. At this point I am really upset and I say "You said that they were included". The manager then rudely gets in my face and says "No, no, no. The drinks are Not included today". I tell him that the waiter told me so and he says no again. I then give him a piece of my mind of the whole experience and how it put a damper on the whole day. To this he curtly says " We are busy today miss, good day". This place has the potential to be excellent with the right manager and staff. To be disrespectful this way and then on Father's Day to boot was downright awful. Be a man and own up to making a mistake, don't send another employee to make things right.“
