“I experienced Nettie’s for the first time last evening. My dining experience was excellent from arrival to departure. The food was “DELISH!” The owner was welcoming & hospitable, the service was good, and the music and atmosphere wea awesome! I am so pleased and proud to have a “Black” owned establishment where you can dine in Queens in a tasteful environment, supporting our entrepreneurs and our community. I, along with others will be back!!!“

“Food tastes great But it is Black owned. Which means expect them to open whenever they feel like. This is my 3rd time calling of visiting the store at Noon time and they are never open. They also don’t like picking up the phone. But the food is really good tho.“

“We ordered Turkey Wings, Fried Fish, Macaroni and Cheese, Yams, Corn and Beans. The Food arrived Hot and oh my goodness my Turkey Wings were tender, full of flavor and falling off the bones! My Husband loved the Fried Fish. The Macaroni and Cheese was cheesy and delicious, the Corn and Beans were OK and the Yams are good. 5 Stars all around. We will be ordering again to sample the rest of the Food ? I can't figure out how to add a picture of our meals ?“

“I love this place! Excellent food, good prices, good service. Absolutely no pretense, they know exactly what they are, and they stick to what they're good at. Ribs are great, fried chicken is great absolutely must get the sweet potatoes. Good lemonade. It is a go-to joint for my son and I. Makes me wish they had a dining room. Strictly take out. I highly recommend it.“

“We always order using delivery apps though wanted to come in for the full experience. SO GLAD WE DID. First off, this has to be one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. That made me feel really happy. Now to the food! Came for the Taco Tuesday Special and so happy we did. We came very late in the evening so we missed the jerk chicken tacos though I was not disappointed in the jerk beef tacos. Such a great deal and it was delicious. These were the full size tacos, not the minis. Run don’t walk as I’m sure this deal wont last. We also ordered the fried fish and grits , we paid for extra for more fish and so goad we did. I didn’t expect a carribean place to be my new go to fish spot but here we are! We ordered the collard greens which were a little different than the southern style I’m accustomed to though had a spice to kick it up.
Friendly staff and very welcoming. They offered us samples of their new fresh made sea moss which was delicious and we grabbed more to take home.
Highly recommend visiting here for your next meal! Great price to value ratio on serving sizes and there are always great deals on delivery apps.“

“Food was great we ordered the fry chicken with rice and peas and salad. We originally wanted B-B fry but there was none . We got mild beef , ackee , vegetable and chicken patties as well. They were a little small and needed some more filling but they were tasty.“

“I have ordered from here several times via Uber Eats. The fried whiting is EXCELLENT! I have been looking for good fries fish since I moved from Queens and now I've found it. The mac n cheese and the collard greens are also delicious. No complaints whatsoever about the food and I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“The Rib Shack in Jamaica, NY is a very popular, decades young landmark restaurant in this residential Queens NY neighborhood. Generations have grown up eating their delicious soul food. The food is prepared fresh daily and ready for take-out. The variety of tasty meats, vegetarian, seafood dishes and deserts are just what the doctor ordered. The staff are patient and friendly.
