“I experienced Nettie’s for the first time last evening. My dining experience was excellent from arrival to departure. The food was “DELISH!” The owner was welcoming & hospitable, the service was good, and the music and atmosphere wea awesome! I am so pleased and proud to have a “Black” owned establishment where you can dine in Queens in a tasteful environment, supporting our entrepreneurs and our community. I, along with others will be back!!!“

“My sister orders food from here on Sundays for my father, herself, and I. The food has always been good. Yesterday, I went into the shoppe myself and ordered. I was very impressed with the layout. There were items on the menu I didn't even know about prior 👍🏾. I am really impressed by the fact this is a Black owned establishment. I'm even more impressed by the fact the spot is owned and operated by some members of the Diasporic family. I say this because they know their clientale well and cater to them without flaw. I will continue to nyam (eat) from this establishment for as long as we are both in existence. ✊🏾“

“The food was so amazing, I ascended into heaven and came back to Earth like a whiplash. The ribs were so good that I got BBQ sauce on my shoulder and eyebrow, and of course my hands. I ate like a starved dog. The owner came up to us and made sure we were well taken care of. 10/10 place.“

“Food is amazing 5/5 every time. Everything is made fresh and they get a lot of business which means you’re going to be waiting sometime. But, they do take online and phone orders. They are very welcoming and very nice. They will let you sample different menu options and not spoonful samples but real samples. They are very nice and I’m so proud of their success. My go to is the whiting, which is the real whiting not the frozen bagged one. Also, the new clam strips and new fries are amazing!!! And the fried okra, chefs kiss. Really great restaurant, you can’t go wrong.“

“Omg... I ordered them on UberEats. BBQ Turkey wings with greens and plantain and Beef Ribs with Mac and Yams. I couldn't wait to dig into the BBQ Turkey wings. Chef's Kiss. The most tender turkey wings I've ever had in NYC. Couldn't get the photo fast enough before I damn near devoured the wing. Greens and plantain were spectacular. The Beef ribs were just as tender. Complete fall off the bone tender. Mac and Yams were spectacular also. Hands down, a must try if in the mood for good home cooking. Nothing was over salted like some other places. Everything seasoned very well.“

“I was staying at a hotel near JFK and went for a walk to find something more interesting than hotel food: this place blew me away. The ribs were so flavourful and tender, the mac n cheese is probably the best I’ve ever had, with a huge portion and reasonable prices. “This is the Only place I come to get my fried chicken & or my fried shrimp!! It’s ALWAYS fresh & the people who work there always make sure of it . They’re very kind. I love the fact that the food isn’t salty . Regardless of the wait time via drive-thru, I don’t mind waiting at all lol, because I know exactly the cause & what I’m getting! It’s good & it will always be good ! I’m happy I found this place! 10/10 I Recommend.“
