“I've visited several times and overall it's been good. A bit pricey, but the food is fresh and high quality. They've got a varied menu of sandwiches, wraps, smoothies and hot dishes. While I wouldn't go so far as to say the service is rude, it certainly isn't friendly or inviting. Just very matter of fact with no personality. Limited space but they do have a few tables and a "bar top" to sit and eat. On street metered parking.“

“The hospitality here is truly unmatched. We were visiting from out of town, and it was immediately obvious that this is the kind of place with a loyal community of regulars. Ben greeted us with so much kindness, humor, and genuine hospitality that we felt like regulars ourselves.

“Standard NY bagel place. The neighborhood shop in Washington Heights. Crunchy and chewy, like a bagel should be. Had a slight chemical flavor to them. Maybe a weird batch...I'll still try them again.

Cream cheese flavors made on-site. You know because it's not mixed perfectly and there's still some chunks.

All in all, you know it's fresh here.“

“I didn't know, is there a legit 'bagel club?' Found this spot via google maps and thought to give it a try while waiting for my nearby coffee shop to open. Today, before 8am the place was quiet. Only one other customer, who was engaged in a conversation with the guy behind the counter. The shop is spacious and the fact that it wasnt busy and the food items for sale were very spread out, made the place seem very big, too big for the amount of business seen and lack of table seating. It was clean though. Customer service was ok. Straight forward.
I went with the sunflower seed (flat) bagel. Not a usual bagel flavor of other bagel shops. It is actually very good. A lot of seeds. If you like sunflower seeds, go for it. I guess it is flat to accomodate all the seeds.
I also grabbed two pumperknickel and one everything toasted with cream cheese.
The everything wasnt toasted enough for my liking. There was a decent amount of creme cheese.
Overall the vibe was off, very quiet for a weekday morning. Maybe they are more of a mid-day lunch spot. They had everything a bagel shop typically has e.g. cream cheese flavors. But not heaping amounts of each compared to City locations which anticipate much more business. While it is a decent place, i wont pick this club over others if I had to choose.“

“I really liked PopUp Bagels! I will say it wasn't what I was completely expecting so just know before you go that if you want butter or cream cheese or any of those add on's you have to buy their tiny tubs of them so I opted to only get one. They are incredibly fresh, you just go to the side window and they give them to you fresh out of the oven. The bagels were great!“

“Empire Bagels is an amazing spot. The menu is always solid, the food is always fresh, and the staff is genuinely friendly. Management is doing a great job, and you can feel it the second you walk in.

I was there yesterday (July 13) and ordered several of their delicious sandwiches, a Cubano to die for, and my beet and goat cheese salad!
You are the best deli artisan sandwich establishment I have ever been to. I’ve had some sandwiches, but your sandwiches, all the combos, and salad are amazing.
Oh yeah, and your extra-large muffins and everything—oh my God, this is fantastic. Your place is tremendous.

“This is constructive criticism, but when one of those white girls makes my sandwich i immediately know that the sandwich is going to be mediocre. No matter how many times you tell them “TOAST THE BREAD” they don’t listen. Especially when it’s a hot sandwich, by the time you get home the sandwich morphs into mush & it’s a soggy mess. I rated atmosphere at five because it’s possible to speak with other locals at tables and chairs (5 tables and 15 chairs including a single table and chair next to a south facing window -great sun trap on a cold morning). My favourite is an everything bagel with cream cheese toasted and coffee.“

“Hi. My experience here was there recently and it was good. I was in the area adopted a stray cat and it took all day to get my cute furry pet. Waiting for my pet I decided to walk up the block and there it was this coffee shop. It’s was the right spot I had coffee and sandwich and stood for a little cause it was cold outside. “Very impressed by the variety of gourmet flavor combinations from their breakfast sandwiches to their cream cheese spreads. The sour dough is what caught my attention, and it’s much easier to digest than your typical white flour bagels. So if you have trouble with gut inflammation from your typical bagels, you should give this a try place. Also the owners/staff always welcome you with a smile and extremely nice. Lastly. The Cold brew Lavazza coffee is GREAT.“

I love their customer service, they answer their phone, and they answer my questions on Facebook. I will be using them again, and again. I love everything about them so far. “What a sandwich! Probably *the* most flavorfully complex sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Got the Cuban torta with “everything on it”. The owner did not disappoint.

Every bite is a dive into a wonderfully savory chew of complex flavors. I’m amazed.
