“Last night I took my 95 yo dad with my family here, our Go-To Greek restaurant and as always we had another wonderful meal. The grilled octopus, coconut shrimp and the haloumi cheese were all delicious. I had the chicken santorini for the first time and it was amazing as it melted in my mouth. The food is always spot on and most of all we are treated like family. I would recommend "It's Greek to Me" without hesitation.“

“The food was excellent! Had the Fried Calamari (but you can order grilled), and the Mediterranean Octopus salad. Both were good but we all really loved the octopus! We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. Very friendly service: the bartender, greeter, our waiter, all gave good vibes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“We always enjoy our food at the Gyro bar. You cannot go wrong with the Gyro pita sandwich- AMAZING. The chicken Souvlaki platter (bottom/front in the photo) was really good. The lemon potatoes (also bottom front plate) are delicious. The Lamb/Beef Gyro platter (back plate) is the best lamb/beef gyro meat I’ve ever had. Both are big enough to make two meals out of.
The tzatziki and pita is also wonderful. Thick, creamy, and perfect.

“I always order from Greek Cove, the food is excellent and portions are big. I order a half tray of the grilled chicken this weekend and it came with salad , tzatziki and pitas ..there was so much grilled chicken that my guest all took home leftovers! Also is was delicious!“

“Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

“We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at Kyma and it did not disappoint! It was more than just dining- it was a whole experience! The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! After the meal, they brought us two beautifully prepared desserts. And then before we left, the manager spent time talking to us and getting to know us on a more personal level. It was really special evening and I highly recommend Kyma!“

“First time dining here and overall a really solid experience. The food was enjoyable — the lemon orzo soup was comforting, the lamb gyro taco had great flavor, and the chicken kebab skewers was cooked well. Drinks were a standout, especially the dirty raspberry martini, which was excellent.

The vibe is casual and relaxed. There were a couple small service hiccups, but nothing that took away from the meal. Overall, we enjoyed it and would definitely come back again.“

“I was here yesterday, ordered Chicken Karahi, Kebabs, Chicken Tikka with Naan. Everything was delicious and closer to the perfection. Raita and special Spicy Onions made things more delicious. I will definitely visit again to try other dishes. One more thing which i liked, there werr no mandatory service charges, you can tip whatever you want to. Beautiful small space with Quality Food. “I ordered a specialty chicken pizza, a steak and shrimp gyro and zeppoles...honestly the pizza and gyros were delicious but i had been craving zeppole and they were horrible. My jaw hurt trying to chew them, they were so hard probably refried and not fresh. Sadly ordered 2 orders and had to throw both out ?“

“Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.“

“I went to check out the new location in Levittown after they closed their spot in Mineola. The new place looks great—clean, spacious, and welcoming.

I ordered my food to go, and it was ready by the time I got there. Everything was hot, freshly made, and delicious. I got the chicken souvlaki with grilled veggies, and it came with a small Greek salad. The portions are generous, and you definitely get your money’s worth.

The lamb gyro was also really good—tender, well-seasoned, and stuffed with meat. They definitely don’t skimp. The staff was super friendly, service was quick, and pickup was easy. Definitely worth the trip.“

“This place does mainly a takeout business, there are 3 small tables to wait in if desired, but it is noisy and there is a lot of Doordash/uber eats activity in and out, and for good reason: the food is consistently excellent and the quantity served makes it a terrific value. The salads are terrific and we love that you can not only get chicken souvlaki chunks or chicken gyro meat on salads or platters and both are terrific. Tzatziki - amazing. If you're a fan of baklava, theirs is better than most bakeries around. Spanakopita is also excellent. Think of it is restaurant quality but in takeout form. We absolutely love the guys who run the place, very friendly, very gracious. There aren't that many Greek places in Nassau that hit it out of the park for us, but these guys do, every time. Go!“

“I honestly love a good chicken over rice platter and usually have to drive all the way to Hicksville which is pretty inconvenient. This spot is less than 10 minutes away from where I attend school so I had to try it out and I’m so glad I did! I stuck to the classic chicken over rice platter. It tasted fresh and the service was great too— nice people and I got my food in a matter of minutes! This place definitely just became my go to spot for gyro!“
