“Stopped in just for a drink and was really impressed with the atmosphere and service. The space has a great vibe, and my drink was excellent. I didn’t get a chance to try any food this visit, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Definitely planning to come back to check out the menu and make a full meal out of it next time. A great spot in Beacon for drinks and a relaxed night out.“

“From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent. We were seated within a minute and greeted immediately by a friendly, attentive server who offered to walk us through the specials and made sure we had everything we needed.
Service was impressively well paced—our appetizers arrived within minutes, and our main courses followed shortly after we finished them. It was clear the staff was attentive and communicating well with the kitchen.
The food was outstanding. My steelhead trout over couscous was cooked perfectly, and my wife’s New York strip steak was equally excellent. The homemade biscuits are a must—slightly sweet and completely unique.
We finished with a fun dessert: a root beer float for me and a great after-dinner drink for my wife. The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy our meal, and the live piano and bass playing jazz added a wonderful touch.
The bill was very reasonable, and we left completely satisfied.

“Dined here with my family tonight for the first time and we ALL loved everything about Hudson Taco. We started with a large order of guacamole that was really good followed by many tacos, two bowls, street corn, a side of beans and a side of fried plantains. We loved everything that we ordered and look forward to returning soon. Also, I wish that I could remember our servers name because she was just that good! Thanks for providing our family with a great night out.“

“This is the best restaurant I have been to in a while. Definitely the best in Beacon, by far. Love the atmosphere, and the food was incredible. Some could argue that it's a small menu, but EVERYTHING on it is delicious. The service was phenomenal. So friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough ❤️❤️“

“While I love the restaurant, and look forward to having dinner here at least once a month, I have just one complaint: after-dinner coffee is served without a saucer. Just a cup on the tablecloth. There's something so incomplete about this that it's jarring; once you've stirred the coffee, where to rest the spoon? It can only go straight onto the white tablecloth, leaving a brown stain. So, why on earth put the coffee -- and if it's cappucino, it's a $10.00 cuppa! -- directly onto the tablecloth without the saucer? I know they have saucers, because they serve afternoon tea. I have taken to bringing my own saucer. If this seems petty, order the coffee after your Bear Mountain Inn dinner and try it yourself (avoid the cappucino).
Otherwise, this is a lovely restaurant with gorgeous views across the river to Anthony's Nose, the trains hurrying along the shoreline, the lawn. Dinner -- especially the half chicken -- is usually perfection. Just get a saucer under that coffee cup!“

“Cool local spot with good pizzas and other menu items, solid beer list and a great cocktail program. Top Tip: Be sure to get here early if you are going before a Paramount show. Being the closest restaurant to the theater means it's very busy on show nights.“
