I got home and realized I left my purse in Troy, NY which is approximately a 4 and a half hour drive one way. I called the restaurant to ask if I left it, which I did. The lovely worker said she would talk to her boss the next day and took my number down. The next morning, Thomas called me and asked where to mail my purse too. The Crisp Cannoli - Bakery & Cafe

I made a post not too long ago asking if any bakeries made those gingerbread frosted bars. My mother used to make these growing up and I haven’t had them in years…

Finally made it to east green bush today early enough(they close at 3)

Anyways..
I got 2 of the gingerbread bars, 1 big m&m cookie, and 1 not pictured chocolate covered Oreo

The gingerbread bars are sooooo good. And moist. Wasn’t overly sweet and sorta fugdy type center. 10/10 recommend.

The m&m cookie was purchased for my son . It was huge but still managed to be moist.
Really good- according to him.

And the chocolate coverd Oreo as you can tell was delicious. That’s the first thing he ate( as to why there’s no picture)

Everything was decently priced too.
This was all under $10 and those gingerbread bars are NOT small“

“Wanted to explore dinner place in Rensselaer, saw this Asian Bistro. They had huge menu, it was exciting but overwhelming at same time. So tried different food, the roll that we order didn’t look really appetizing and also the tum yum soup didn’t taste like Tom yum. However, the Thai basil chicken and salmon carpaccio were really good. I ordered scorpion bowl for drinks, it was large but I enjoyed it. Server was very polite and patience, we liked her. First drink order was taken by 1 server who seem to be in rush, but later another young lady with smiling attitude came and her attitude and service were 5 ⭐️. Again, will be coming back as I live near by and also recommend!“

I ordered the veal cordon bleu and my adult son had the lasagna. I’ve been to Italy and this meal was just as good, if not better, than some of the food I ate in Rome, Gaeta or Naples. “Do not skip this place. Parking is easy if you drive around the block. It’s small inside, and take only but this place is the epitome of authentic flavorful Spanish food. The menu is written on a chalk board in English, though You will have to order In Spanish (unless the daughter is there - she speaks English and is really helpful) or you can pull out the google translate app, type in your order, translate it to Spanish and show the employee. It’s so worth it, the food is out of this world. Also check out their other establishment right next door mi casa market! Great addition to the Troy community“
