“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! I've been dining with you for many, many years but last night really brought your spirit into focus. Sometimes, we all need to see the world through the eyes of a child or a Golden Retriever ❤️❤️“

“Thirty (30!) of us came to The Cabin for the very first time for a special midday Sunday private gathering, most from from Manhattan or Brooklyn & other parts of NY, but also from NJ< DC, South Carolina and even New Mexico, completely new to this chosen location, and we were stunned by both the quality and quantity of the servings, especially at such a reasonable price.
Five of of 7 at our table who had salmon were knocked out by the huge, yet still perfectly delicious portions, certainly the largest and tastiest I'd ever seen for, again, what was a very modest price. The rice was also unexpectedly zesty, enhanced by cinnamon (?) or some other wonderful herb or spice that we enjoyed but couldn't exactly identify. String beans were good, and we really were also pleased by the warm, seemingly fresh-baked rolls, the zesty caesar salad and our perfectly fine glasses of wine, both pinot noir & chardonnay.

Overall, a terrifically satisfying dining experience, especially at such a bargain rate.“

“Was looking for a spot in White Plains on a Sunday and gave the fox a try. Loads of football to watch on many screens, a happy vibe and a pleasant young server. Food was better than we might have expected, salmon, burrito bowl, fish & chips, all good, and a very large soft pretzel as an appetizer to share. Would happily return.“

“Care and concern were the hallmarks of Mariposa starting with responsiveness when I asked Chef questions about the menu offerings even before making the reservation. Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. I look forward to dining at Mariposa more regularly and hope that you will also.“

“I was so happy to see that Fair Deal Cafe on Mamaroneck Avenue reopened. I was so upset when they closed. I drove by last week and saw the lights on. Sure enough, they are back and even better, under the original ownership. We just got our Italian combo fix today. One of the best in Westchester County. It's more diner style now but of course they still offer take out and delivery. Stop by and give them a try!“

“Several years back, we first visited this place in Bloomingdale’s and were not impressed. Recently on the advice of a friend, we tried again and have been back countless times. They upped the ante in their salad bar and the offerings are varied and the breads including the freshly made popovers are great. There is always a chicken and rice as the warm option. But the best value is to order an entree which comes with the salad bar. Then, we fill up on the salad bar and bring the entree home. The sole, the omelets — they’re all good. Salads, too, but you don’t get the salad bar with a salad. The servers are great, too.“

“First time at Kee's & it was a great experience. Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. No crowds, easy parking. Food was very good except lobster bisque soup very salty. Raw clams excellent as were the baked clams. Salmon & branzino dishes also excellent. Service was A+“

“Nice ambiance. The branzino and sides were very fresh. I’m not a frozen yogurt fan but since it’s so popular here, we tried it. I ordered the vanilla yogurt with Melba sauce and it was very creamy and the sauce was a nice touch without being too sweet. Wish that they would have served my frozen yogurt in one of the unique bowls that they had instead of a plastic cup but overall it was nice.“

“I have celiac and nut allergy and they were able to accommodate me. I had the steak sandwich and unfortunately the steak was low quality. it had tendons in it. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich it was average. But they served us quickly, even though it was busy because we had to catch a plane..“

“I had to write this review. The ceasar salad was the best that I’ve had in my life. I added tomatoes and cucumbers. Whoever made that salad is a legend. The croutons were amazingly super delicious. Everything was perfect: it was so delicious, so wanted to order a second one: The chicken was extremely tender, I never taste that type of chicken. Awesome dish!!!“

“We’ve been having a rough week and needed some comfort food so we wanted to stop by one of the first places we randomly tried when moving to the area a few years ago. We each got the 10 piece boneless wings and made them curly fry combos. I got the honey bbq and my bf got the oriental sesame. Both flavors were really good and portions were pretty large! We called ahead and the order was ready in about 10 mins. The inside isn’t necessarily not nice, but it’s not really a place I’d want to hang out for a while. I’d recommend ordering and taking it to go. Overall the food was really good and the service was quick so I’d definitely go back!“
