Get there early and be prepared to wait. Worth the wait. I have yet to have had a bad night and I now try to make it often.“

Very cute and dimly lit inside with board games and pinball machines to play which I found extremely unique. The highlight of my night was meeting the bartender, Dee. She was adorable and very sweet. “This is a cool spot and often has a great crowd. You can catch the football games on the projector. Please be warned, they force a 20% gratuity on your bill even just sitting at the bar. Maybe they do this because people don't enjoy tipping for extremely slow service which you will probably encounter. (The bartender with the glasses is pretty good though) On top of that, they nickel and dime you with a 2.5% credit card surcharge. I have never seen that at a bar before.“

No issue with availability and service, very attentive.
Chicken dish with sauce ok, but asparagus flimsy and green bean sized while mashed potatoes served ice cream scoop and lacking in flavor.
Long awaited favorite of mine, fish and chips.
Fish better than most in area, still lacking in wow factor while the (chips) were a flimsy mess , no crisp or seasoning.
As to beer, Stella was fine but Blue Moon dark and flat.

“The owner is an incredibly good guy. My friend lost her jacket and when he saw me searching around he checked in with me to help search. He was very helpful, really good guy. He took her number down in case it got returned and gave us shots as consolation. Lo and behold he found the jacket. “We headed to Lou’s after dinner at Rolo’s—it’s about a 20-minute walk, which wasn’t bad at all. A friend recommended it since she comes here often and knows the bartender.

Lou’s is very much a neighborhood bar, and it gets packed. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff handles the crowds like pros, fast, attentive, and efficient no matter how busy it gets. You can tell this isn’t their first rodeo.

Drinks are cheap (always a plus), but pro tip: it’s cash only. Luckily, they’ve got an ATM inside with just a small service fee.

Extra shoutout to their regular, Delaney, who jumped in to challenge the twins to a game of billiards super fun to watch! Just note there’s only one pool table, so expect a wait. In the meantime, there’s a dart board to keep things moving, and the blasting music keeps the energy high!
