“The cafe was clean and cute. It offered plenty of seatings. The barista was attentive and the service was prompt, but the drinks were just okay. The Americano was smooth, but it tasted a bit stale as if the beans had been dried out and the chai latte was rather watery.“

Loved the rainbow cookies, Jamaican Patty and the black cake. The layer cakes are spectacular as well. Coffee, tea, chai, cappuccino--just some of the hot drink offerings to go with your treats. The owners are most congenial and welcoming, serving you with utmost care and attention. The bakery is light and airy with several tables to dine at. Located across the street from the Glen Oaks library on Union Turnpike, there is ample street parking as well as the large parking lot located behind the bakery. There is convenient access to public transportation too: the Q36 and Q46 stop steps away. My family and I truly enjoyed our time at Rose Valley bakery and cannot wait to do so again!“

“Clippers coffee is a delight! A true gem of the Bronx and of City Island. All the staff there are super friendly, and their menu items are wonderful! If you go try their jumbo chocolate chip cookie, there are very few cookies that can beat it!“

“The desserts are a work of art here. While they are on the pricier side for sweets, both the bamboo shaped dessert and ube cheesecake were very good to share. The cakes were not too sweet and I love how they incorporate Asian flavors. My favorite of the two is the bamboo. It has jasmine mousse, lychee filling, and yuzu layers and has different textures as you eat throughout it. The white chocolate coating pairs well with the light flavors inside.“

“Totally came here by accident as I was looking for something to feed to my 15month old son. As he devours croissants I thought this might be a good place. I was stunned by the variety of items and look of this cute bakery. The ladies working here are Angels and so unbelievably friendly I don't have words. I will definitely come back!“

“Love this place ! Wish I knew about this place sooner honestly. The communication is 10/10 and the cakes were sooooo good, so soft and moist ! I'm a vegan and been a vegan my whole life and my family is really used to buying cakes from the same places and the cakes are never fancy looking, no designs nothing really with character, also sometimes very dry or hard or just straight up bland ! But this place omg !! Great all around love how they have different designs for vegan cakes and not just 1 ! I feel so inclusive for once by having a nice looking cake for my birthday & the pricing wasn't bad at all !!! I got a vintage pink heart cake for my birthday on January 19th and my lil sisters birthday was on the 23rd so we also got her a cake but it was a Valentine's Day cake turned into a birthday cake ! “What a cute little bakery! Reminds me of Paris Baguette. Smaller though, but similar baked goods. The only difference was this ube latte, i really loved it, I know its just milk and probably ube syrup but it was so so good. I made the mistake of adding espresso to it so it didnt taste like ube anymore lol its very lightly ube, but you can still taste it. Service was good, not many people were there, it was early. It is right by work so i love giving myself a little treat every now and then. Would definitely be back to try the other stuff.“

“All I can say is wow and yum ???? after living 60 years in the community just happen to come in to this quaint bakery two very precious young ladies assisted me with my order April & Talia were incredibly nice. But when I had their creamy pastry and coffee I knew that this was my go to for fresh pastry I had to give the owner my compliments . I was told that the pastries are made fresh everyday . No wonder . The flow of customers is just wonderful so happy to know that East Harlem has such a great bakery now my go to spot for sweets and great coffee .“

“I introduced my girlfriend to this place and we’ve been snacking on their cakes and donuts and other pastries for the past year every now and then. Each treat absolutely delicious. We decided to request a cake for her niece’s birthday and it was just under $200 for a 3 layered cake for 20 people, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results!! The bday girl loved it and everyone thought the cake was delicious! It wasn’t too sweet and the icing was buttercream and not fondant which was delightful“
