“My daughter won a contest on Instagram for 2 free meals, drinks and cookies. She invited her sister, so it was 3 of us. We drove from Babylon to Manhasset to try this cute little cafe. When we got there I let the cashier, maybe manager know who we were. She was so gracious, explained the menu items and recommended the coffees we should try. We placed our order and waited. The food that came out was so pretty, smelled amazing and was delicious too.“

“This is a 10/10 breakfast spot. I’ve never had Nepalese food before, and Cafe Catmandoo blew me away. I had the Catmandoo Breakfast special and I’m not usually a fan of chickpeas but I ate the ENTIRE thing. Staff is very friendly, they accommodated our large party of 9 people within 10-15 minutes. Great place to read / work / write on weekdays (no laptops on weekends). They are truly a community hub, with rotating art exhibits and phenomenal programming / events. “We ate everything so fast that we forgot to take pictures, but here is half of our Juice. I ordered the avocado toast with egg and cheese and to say that sounds like OK yeah whatever, however, at the proprietors recommendation, I got that and so began my ascent into culinary Shangri-La! I also ordered the Indian scrambled eggs and had her add a little curry to it as well, and I say this next thing as a lifelong breakfast chef:
These were the best scrambled eggs I have ever put in my face! I could have continued to eat them until I was in pain and then I would still be sad to stop! However, the portion was perfect for me and my ever grazing fiancé! We also got two of the fresh juices, the anti-inflammatory and the veggie lovers and these were also next level delicious very large and everything was completely reasonably priced. I want to try out as many places as I can while I’m in New York briefly, but we’re gonna eat breakfast here again tomorrow! This is just too good!“

All the staff were super friendly snd nice, recommended some sightseeing here in Brooklyn (my wife and I were visiting). Cug popped by, super chill dude, had a small convo. The food was great, I got the Time Immemorial and my wife got the Ya Sista, both were exceptional. Also, there is a nice selection of imported Italian sauces, pastas, oils, etc. Highly recommend!“

“I was so excited to spend my birthday at Leticia's. The food and service were fine, and the atmosphere seemed lively enough, but the night ended in total heartbreak. My husband had specifically arranged for a sweet birthday surprise—a simple dessert and a song—and the hostess completely forgot. Watching the night end in absolute silence without even a mention of my birthday was devastating. It completely ruined what should have been a special moment. Remind the hostess or server several times about anything special you want yo do.“

This eatery is a hidden gem in the mount Haven section of the BX...who knew!? Love the rustic casual ,chill vibe & the rooftop seating on a summer day is everything. The food... fresh uncomplicated, there are halal vegan& vegetarian options. The chocolate croissant and vegan carrot cake 🥰 My personal favorite is avocado toast with turkey bacon , arugula or the goddess bowl add a great cup of coffee or Chai latte it's all delish!! To the staff are friendly and helpful. We love this eatery so much we just had my friend's son's wedding there, intimate, beautiful. A must try.“

“Found this place online. We ordered chilaquiles con salsa verde , French toast & iced cafe de olla. The place gives a Mexican home style atmosphere. It’s a small space & got busy after 11:30am on a Saturday. We got seated quickly. The chilaquiles were shareable and had a mild spicy. The French Toast was MASSIVE and shareable. The crust was slightly too toasted making it a bit difficult to cut through. The arrangement of fruit was nice tho. They added mango which was a nice touch. The cafe con olla does well iced and definitely has the olla taste. Highly recommend the chilaquiles con steak y salsa verde. The staff were very friendly.“

“Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time or probably ever! I got the French onion, which was a special and it was huge and delicious and really filling. Despite being busy, the owner took their time explaining some of the sandwiches to me and warned me that they were taking a little longer than usual to get orders out, but the wait time felt totally reasonable and definitely worth it. I ate inside, which does have limited seating but that was fine since a lot of people seem to order to go. But it’s not far from Maria Hernandez Park so I’d take my sandwich there next time! “We don’t even know how many times we’ve been here 😂 It’s definitely one of our go-to matcha spots in Flushing! We always get the matcha latte because it’s consistently so good and we never get tired of it. 🍵🤍

We also tried the mango sticky rice drink and the jasmine matcha latte, and both were sooo good! The mango sticky rice drink is such a fun and unique combination, while the jasmine matcha latte has such a nice floral flavor.

“This is the best coffee shop in the neighborhood. The staff (shout out Elvis) is incredibly kind and make you feel like the only customer they've ever known. He comes to my dog's birthday parties if that tells you anything. The shop is clean yet dog friendly, small but warm and sunny. The food is INCREDIBLE. I could drink a small swimming pool of their lemonade. Just go - get a biscuit. Or a sandwich. Or a banan bread. I could go on and on.“
