The charcoal-grilled chicken wings were cooked to perfection—crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with a great smoky flavor on the outside, while remaining incredibly juicy on the inside. But the real star of the show was the spicy bullfrog. The meat was unbelievably tender and absorbed all the rich flavors of the broth. It had that perfect, authentic Sichuan 'mala' (spicy and numbing) kick, topped with fresh green chilies and sesame seeds that made it incredibly appetizing. Huge portions and great presentation. “Large quantities and yummy food! We got 2 combos for two for 6 ppl and it was more than enough food. We got the classic spice with bean curd and king oyster mushrooms, chicken wings, and pork belly. We also got the tomato soup with fish and beef with lotus root and wide noodles plus milk custard and spicy noodles. Would come again!“

“If you're craving hot pot in the LIC area, this is a solid choice. Price obviously depends how much you get; dining as a party of 4, we spent around $50pp. Everything can be requested or ordered via the iPad (including a call service button), so there's limited direct contact with staff. I like how they provide bags for jackets to make sure not ALL of your possessions come out of the restaurant smelling like hotpot.

While it makes sense to have a big table to hold all of our ingredients, I felt the distance from one end to the table to the other was large! We had to raise our voices to talk to each other.

The sauce bar has the essentials as well as 2 side dishes (altho I don't remember what they were, I didn't end up getting them) and orange slices (we ate those at the end of the meal).

There is only one bathroom for the entire restaurant, so there was a bit of a line when I had to go.“

“Tai Er is amazing! The spicy sour fish soup is the best and so flavorful with that perfect numbing kick. It is inside Tangram which makes it a fun spot since you can walk around and explore after eating. Definitely a go to if you are craving bold flavors.“

It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. “One of the best Sichuan cuisine serving restaurants in queens. Consistent in taste so everytime you go the food will taste the same. Noodles r my favorite. Dim sum on the other hand needs improvement. Besides that everything else is perfect.“

I come here when I crave rice and something spicy. They offer cold dishes as side dishes or you can have them as part of of your lunch meal. Got the tofu shreds and celery, bamboo shots in chili oil, and the beef tendon & tripe. They were all delicious. I know other places have cheaper prepared rice dishes like this around flushing but if im in NY food court, this is a nice meal as well which includes hot soup.

Ive recommend their hot oil chili hicken, chicken feet, and the fried fish too. I see lots of locals get their hot rice dishes. Might be worth a try too!“

“My family have been regulars for > 8 years. Its authetic Hunan flavors with enough variety for vegetarias and vegans too. Thankfully they are able to tone down the spiciness to the right amount when requested. We have many favorite dishes such as grileed fish with black bean sauce, sizzling beef steak, cumin beef, sauteed eggplant, triple bamboo, cucumber with scallion sauce, tomatoes and eggs, steam dumplings etc. I read some of the negative reviews and i have never experienced any of that. My parents and I come here almost every sunday for the past several months. Food is consistently good, prices are average or better then some of the other restaurants in Flushing. The wait staff are very attentive and nice. The owner always greets us warmly when he sees us. Give it a try !“

“Went here after Blackpink concert because my friends and I were starving and this is the only place that is not too crowded and still open at 11:30pm. The staff is very friendly, and the food is tasty. I was gonna order xiao long bao but it was taking too long and I was almost full, the lady kept on apologizing to me and she said I can get it next time. When I am back in flushing NYC I will go here and take my well deserved xiao long bao 🤣“

“As far as neighborhood Chinese food joints go......THIS IS A VERY, VERY GOOD, VERY CLEAN KITCHEN. Middle Village would.not support any business for years and years unless they were doing the right thing.HOT AND DELICIOUS!!! I always call and place order for pick up. I never put my food in anyones hands or moped after it's cooked and ready bro.They are VERY VERY VERY busy during lunch special hours....please don't call during this time with stupid questions. Please understand the restaurant business because you're not 10 years old to do that and post a review that the lady was rude to you.....Come on man!“

“Ordering the food over the phone is the worst thing anyone can do. The receptionist will mess the order up. You can be on the phone with her for 20 mins, and the order will still be messed up. To place an order is best to do it in the store. The guy at the counter will try to give you the wrong amount of money back, but besides that, the food is good.“
