“After hunting for good Mexican food for over a year, it’s safe to say this place checks all the boxes. The staff are always friendly, the food is divine, and the portions are reasonable. There is limited seating, but it is cozy and nice if the weather is good. I will say, if you order through an app, the portions are quite a bit smaller so it’s worth going in-person. Everything is good so you can’t miss, but I especially love the beans they use in the Al Pastor burrito and the salsa verde.“

“It’s rare that I rate any place a 5. I really wanted a birria pizza for my birthday but they ran out of birria. Destiny went above and beyond to make it up to me. She surprised me with a bunch of other options that were amazing! Surf and turf tacos, and chicken tinga tacos are a 10/10! Very professional, very sweet!“

“Second time ordering take-out from here. They’re really friendly and have great service, but it’s not going to become my next favorite unfortunately. Food was okay, ordered cheese birria tacos which I thought would be cheese crusted rather than just some shredded cheese tossed inside.
The birria consome was great though! I think it was missing some salt but when combined with the tacos (as it should be) it was a perfect combination.

The place is small though, not a lot of seating space and the space that is available is a bit tight, so that ruins a bit of the atmosphere for me. But, for takeout nearby, I think it’s in the right neighborhood and deserves its round of applause.“

“This place is one of my go-to’s. The food, drinks, atmosphere and service are amazing! They also have a guanabana margarita which I haven’t found yet at other Mexican restaurants and it’s my favorite!! The best part is they maintain great quality each and every time which is not always easy. Ernesto was our server and he was not only quick and efficient but so friendly which can be rare to find in the restaurant business! He made our experience even better. “The tacos, guacamole, rice & beans, empanada and tostadas are all very good! Then they have the California Burrito (steak)… the tortilla tastes like it came from Wyoming. The fries tastes like they were served in a middle school in Iowa. The cheese tastes like it came from a church fundraiser in rural Mississippi and the steak was discovered from a small lake town in Ontario. Combine it all and it tastes like they flew it in from a food stand in the English beach town of Bognor Regis and a seagull made it.“

“Walking distance from subway. Across the street from a nice park. Somewhat manageable paid street parking. Amazing staff and service. Very cozy with only 2 tables and a counter. Very extended menu, you will definitely find something you like, vegan, vegetarian, or meats. Lunch specials are all great. Fast service. I'm getting lunch there at least 3 times a week, every week. I just ordered bistec a la Mexicana. I can already taste it. But I do have to try and see what it's like. I like mine, small but thick cuts and lots of sweet white onions that blend with the peppers, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeños with the rice and beans. Absolutely can't wait. I do have to run to the store for the coca cola with the cane sugar. All other cokes are fake. The mexican glass bottle one is it.“
