“My husband and I dined at Solevo tonight for a 5 PM reservation, and once again, it reminded me why this is my favorite restaurant in Saratoga and our go-to for special occasions.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. We started with the special antipasto salad and meatballs for our first course. The meatballs were incredibly tender, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The salad was enormous and absolutely packed with fresh, delicious vegetables, topped with beautifully aged meat that made it feel extra special.

To start, I had the Solevo Spritz, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced, while my husband enjoyed a tequila cocktail (I wish I remembered the name!). For our second course, he ordered the lasagna and loved that it came with extra sauce - something that’s surprisingly hard to find when ordering lasagna out. I had the chicken involtini, and as we usually do, we shared both dishes. Both were prepared perfectly. We also enjoyed glasses of Barolo with dinner, and I have to say, I absolutely love that Solevo offers Barolo by the glass - not many restaurants in this area do, and it’s such a treat.

For dessert, we shared the brown butter cake, which was absolutely delicious - rich, nutty, with the perfect hint of maple sweetness.

A special mention to our server, Joanna, who was wonderful. She explained the specials thoroughly, answered every question we had with ease, and provided excellent service throughout the evening.

Birthdays, anniversaries, even before holiday gatherings are held at Pennell's. “​I discovered the Gourmet Cafe on a quiet evening as the hostess was placing the menu board outside. The dining room was simple and unpretentious, giving off a pleasant, personal feel. The experience started with a warm welcome from the server, Mandy, who personally recommended a Pinot Grigio for my meal—a fantastic touch for someone exploring wine pairings.

​I ordered a half portion of the Penne alla vodka with chicken, which was generous enough to be a full meal. It arrived with perfectly toasted garlic bread and had a lovely aroma. The dish delivered on every level: the pasta had a great bite, the sauce was tangy (thanks to the sun-dried tomatoes) and creamy, and the chicken was incredibly tender. The owner's wine recommendation was spot on, as the Pinot Grigio enhanced the creaminess of the sauce beautifully.

“I ordered 2 chef salads for take out. I also ordered extra salad dressings. When I picked my order up the girl behind the counter was cheerful and so friendly. She showed me everything in the bag .I also received 2 salad dressings Extra and a fresh loaf of delicious bread . The salads were huge and absolutely the best we have had . Wings were definitely a disappointment.

My picture makes them look a lot bigger than they really are.. I got the Bone In wings and they were Half the size of normal bone in wings.

“We're relatively new to the area and this was my first order at PizzaTime. We ordered an 8 cut Party Pizza and an order of jumbo hot wings. The wings were crispy but not overcooked and tasty but not really hot. The pizza may have been the BEST pizza we have had in over a decade. Perfectly cooked and the sausage had a hint of smokey flavor. We absolutely will order here again.“

“I never write reviews, but I worked for a pizzeria for years (decades ago) and know how hard it is to provide consistent service and food. I have ordered from Primo dozens of times over the years (from both of their locations) because their food is delicious #1, but #2 because their food and service has been consistently excellent every single time!! Delicious pizza, pasta, wings, appetizers, desserts ... we've tried it all! Being consistent is the most important thing, and they've nailed it 100%. Menu items are always in stock and orders are always correct and on time. Kudos to the owners, employees, and delivery drivers!! I highly recommend them and felt I had to leave them a review.“
