“I’ve been eating at The Chateau since childhood. The creators of the Mish Chopped Salad. The friendly atmosphere, the comfort food, those great soups, everything is delicious and fresh. I love the dinners too. Good old fashioned food and service.“

“First time going, I was invited to a birthday gathering. I’m a Puerto Rican woman, The people were great. The DJ was incredible. The Crowd, I love because it was the older crowd.(with younger Group too) I’m a 69 year old woman (don’t look it) loved how everyone was dressed, the restaurant Was very pleasant , the host walked around greeting and talking and asking “Is everything OK?”. MY COMPLAINT IS !!!!
They should have a special on the drinks. I thought it was very very expensive. I did not drink at all because I refuse to pay what they were asking for. The Manager ! should have a special for the ladies between (8pm n 9:30) free or 1/2 The Price !“

“Trying to keep this place a hidden gem, because there is too much traffic in the rock already. However! Margie's has one of THE best burgers I have ever had in my entire life and that says a lot because I consider myself a sandwich/burger connoisseur. It's so simple and I believe that's what makes the burger shine. Paired with the atmosphere and the beach town vibes, it's hard for me to go anywhere else when I'm in need of a good burger. The other things I've tried on the menu didn't disappoint but I showed up for a burger and it stole the show for me. My compliments to the chef or recipe creator...whomever.“

Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. “My family and I went to Veranda restaurant in Bayside yesterday for. Birthday dinner. The restaurant is well located, with street parking and valet service as well. There’s an outdoor patio, that for obvious reason we couldn’t use. The temperatures in NY have been in the single digits lately. The food and the service were on another level! Gregory was very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food was finger liking good! I had the pan seared scallops with spinach risotto and OMG. I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was pleased with the their food choices and I highly recommend this place, unfortunately I didn’t take pics of everyone’s food. Only if mine, I hope you find this review useful. “Always a pleasure coming to Rove! Tonite was an exceptional experience. I wish i got the bartenders name. Wednesday 4/24/24 between 7-9pm. Nice nails and curly hair. She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“

“This diner is a jewel in residential Whitestone. Surrounded by private houses, you are likely to miss the diner. We are an ova-lacto-vegetarian family. We ate vegetarian quesadillas and tacos. Neither of them were on the menu but they substituted pinto beans for meat and it was amazing. I would say it is a quaint little diner with amazing tex-mex food!“
