“First time going, I was invited to a birthday gathering. I’m a Puerto Rican woman, The people were great. The DJ was incredible. The Crowd, I love because it was the older crowd.(with younger Group too) I’m a 69 year old woman (don’t look it) loved how everyone was dressed, the restaurant Was very pleasant , the host walked around greeting and talking and asking “Is everything OK?”. MY COMPLAINT IS !!!!
They should have a special on the drinks. I thought it was very very expensive. I did not drink at all because I refuse to pay what they were asking for. The Manager ! should have a special for the ladies between (8pm n 9:30) free or 1/2 The Price !“

Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

“Seating and food was great! They did give me my meat medium well which I asked for just medium, the cook did redo it for me and was very nice and professional about it. The only bad thing about it was the atmosphere which was a bit hot, especially when seated on leather seats and our server Jessie had bit of an attitude. I understand that being a server is tough but at least don’t take out your frustration on customers or have a bad face when serving. Didn’t feel comfortable asking for things from her.“

“I have been to The West End Cafe many times for dinner, but this was my first time for lunch. Although the menu was more limited there many fewer people there. It tends to be very noisy in the evening but was much quieter during lunch making it conducive for conversation.“

This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition. Our waitress Ashley, was patient and knowledgeable. She guaranteed I would like the Honey Garlic wings and they were the highlight of the night. “I'd like to give kudos to Nick and his staff at Veranda Restaurant & Cafe. We held my daughter's bridal shower brunch for 22 people there today under the pergola. The food was excellent, and the waitstaff led by Daniel was impeccable! I highly recommend this venue.

She was funny pleasant and took care of us. Long story short, after great apps and drinks, paid the bill and left…I dropped a $50 out of my pocket after I paid and left and was only 2 store fronts down and she came after me telling me you dropped a bill and gave it back. You don’t see this honestly often anymore. Kudos to her and Rove deserves her as an employee.“

“My family wanted to try a new place for dinner this weekend and Jamesons was it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Our waitress Sarah was great...super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the French Onion soup (excellent) and Pretzel Sticks (ok) as appetizers. The French Onion soup ($12) was very delicious but the pretzel sticks ($12) we probably wouldnt order again. There were 2 Pretzels to the order which my wife and I thought was a little pricey for what they were. My 7 year old ordered the chicken fingers and fries which were better than I had expected them to be. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips ($25) - super tasty, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Reuben ($24) super yummy which was a special for the evening. My wife and I both agreed after sharing that both meals were excellent. Key Lime Pie and a cappuccino finshed us off both of which did not disappoint. Overall, food and presentation were top notch and the service was excellent ---Thanks again Sarah! My wife and I both felt it was a little pricey but we would definitely go back.“

“Just had an RVC fire department brunch here. Jackie Amato is amazing as the event coordinator, patient, kind and so wonderful to work with. We had the brunch buffet and omelet station. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff and servers were outstanding, helpful and so genuinely kind. They were so willing to help set up our centerpieces and couldn't do enough to make everything so special. Our bartender Victor was off the charts amazing. The room was beautiful and bright. My friends threw me a surprise birthday dinner in the upstairs room… the waitress Megan was PHENOMENAL!!! As a waitress myself I was blown away by her ! She was truly AMAZING !! She was so accommodating, kind and made the whole atmosphere of the night lively and fun!! She also was a great photographer capturing the whole night for me!! Always a great time at bungalow but Megan truly went above and beyond to make the night special ! Food was great too !“
