“I waited the absolute last minute to order a cake for my daughter's 18th birthday and Maison de Gateaux did not disappoint. I showed them an inspiration photo less than 2 weeks before the event, chose the flavors and prayed it was beautiful and delicious! I was able to pick up the cake at 9AM when they first opened the day after the holiday and crossed my fingers. The cake was beautiful. No... It was simply STUNNING. It captured the color that I wanted for the cake and the simplicity of the design of it. My daughter loved the cake. It was also delicious (we ordered the lemon cake and cannoli; bottom and top tier respectively). It was also budget friendly. I got the 8" and 10" which was more than enough for sharing. Thank you Maison de Gateaux for being a part of my daughter's special day! more power to you.“

“Good foods for everyone. Fun times for everyone. Excellent service through out the entire process too.“
“Probably the best Filipino bakery in NY/NJ area. The breads and pastries makes you miss home. Ube breads are the best! Location: It is located in Roosevelt along all the Filipino stores and restaurants. The taho are outside of the store. Service: she was nice. Filipino hospitality at its best! Food: The breads are delicious, fluffy and still good after few days. UBE PANDESAL: to me this was the best I had unlike online seller this has visible cheese and ube jam inside the bread. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds and devour its goodness. TAHO: how i miss taho in the Philippines, this breakfast drink is all about my country. Those soft tofu top with boba and syrup is just what I want in my life. Lol. Price rating: 5/10, not that bad for Filipino food cravings. Definitely will eat more here and try more of their breads!! Definitely try ube pandesal and taho!!“

“Ran in on my way to LIRR to pick up the baked good of the gods, Almojabanas. Not only were they warm, fresh out of the oven at 10:30 am, but they were incredible. The perfect combination of crisp outside and soft, chewy inside. If you are constantly disappointed by pan de queso at Brazilian restaurants (like I am) come here. They've got both the Almojabana and Bunuelo down to a science. Perfect grab and go for the train ride. Trying my hardest not to eat a 3rd...“
“Always welcoming with a smile, warm and friendly. Six years ago, I used to live in this area, and back then, I fell in love with this down-to-earth restaurant. It's a pity I moved away afterwards. I'm very happy that six years later, they're still here. And the taste is still as delicious as ever. Their buñuelos are the best.“

“Not only are their famous conchas delicious, but so is everything else they make! So don’t be worried if you come and the conchas are sold out, because you can’t go wrong with anything they have. They are super friendly people and the mood is so light and fun. Love this place!“
