“My mother has been coming here well over a decade, the people who work here are very accommodating and beyond helpful. It’s an order at counter and sit service, they still make sure you have everything in case you decide to eat in. I bring my wife and family here often whenever I have the opportunity because the food is so good! Great breakfast and daily specials they write on the menu board that is visible on your left hand side besides ordering counter. I’ve had so many different plates and soups I can’t even recall them all only thing I can remember is how much I enjoy every meal all the time. Always that authentic Mexican flavor that taste just like moms cooking. This place is very fond to me because if that reason. You can savor the care and love in every plate, honestly I have nothing but compliments for this restaurant/bakery I could write forever! Shout out to Elizabeth and Edith always very welcoming, gracias!“

“I came ALL the way from Westchester to get the mango supreme because I've lived it in the past. They have changed up the look and I am not a fan of the decrease in the mango pieces. While it still mainly tastes the same the decrease in the mango is VERY noticeable for me.“
“Probably the best Filipino bakery in NY/NJ area. The breads and pastries makes you miss home. Ube breads are the best! Location: It is located in Roosevelt along all the Filipino stores and restaurants. The taho are outside of the store. Service: she was nice. Filipino hospitality at its best! Food: The breads are delicious, fluffy and still good after few days. UBE PANDESAL: to me this was the best I had unlike online seller this has visible cheese and ube jam inside the bread. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds and devour its goodness. TAHO: how i miss taho in the Philippines, this breakfast drink is all about my country. Those soft tofu top with boba and syrup is just what I want in my life. Lol. Price rating: 5/10, not that bad for Filipino food cravings. Definitely will eat more here and try more of their breads!! Definitely try ube pandesal and taho!!“

“Tl;Dr: if you like a LOT of filling this is your place. Drop by if you're on the SBS-70 bus.
STORE: located just across the street from the airport link bus stop, so definitely worth a visit. Mostly self-service; it has your usual tongs and tray. The shelves roll out; something that I wasn't used to but just take it slow and things will stay put. I came at 9:30 am and everything was abundantly well stocked and well presented. It's like the opposite of another popular bakery chain on the West Coast. They were relatively nice (at least, by New York standards).
BREAD REVIEWS:
TARO MOCHI: seemed to have an Ube mochi exterior with coconut shavings. Inside was a VERY GENEROUS amount of taro paste. The flavor of the mochi part seemed to overpower over the taro flavor inside. 3/5
EGG TART: seemed to be rough puff pastry, making it technically a Portuguese style, but curiously was not blind baked so did not have the typical crisp texture. On the bright side, it was filled with a massive amount of custard. The custard was a little sweet for my tastes but some people would definitely like it. 3/5
CORN BUN: filled with a savory corn and mayo filling. The mayo flavor absolutely overpowered everything. The bread was good though. 2/5
LEMON PUFF: I think this is like a bolo bun. excellent bread texture. The filling is similar to a lemon donut. It's liquid, which is probably challenging to do but it was well executed. 4/5
MATCHA SPONGE CAKE: this was PERFECT. Not too sweet; beautiful fluffy chiffon sponge with just the right amount of chew. If you like sponge cake this is a must. 5/5
COCONUT TART: this was also PERFECT. Like a coconut macaroon, but more moist. Great texture and flavor. If you like coconut this is a must. 5/5“
