“We had a special couples meal tonight at Silvia . The hostess greeted us with a smile and showed us to a corner table ; perfect for a one on one chat . Our server Ally was knowledgeable and very personable ..on her recommendation we started with a house-made ginger rosemary non alcoholic drink ..wow ! Then we had oysters and the prosciutto and figs ..both were excellent ..our mains were the mushroom and asparagus over pasta and the smoked pork chop on polenta ..OUTSTANDING . Ally was attentive without being intrusive .. The manager stopped by to thank us for coming in . All the staff seem happy and effective ..great space , lovely vibe . we drove 75 min for the meal and it was well worth it ., HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“Really great cocktails, awesome vibe and even better bartenders. If you are lucky enough to have Harry behind the bar you are going to have a great night. Harry is a super knowledgeable and fun person who makes you feel apart of the community even if it is your first time there.”

“Love love Garden Cafe! The food is amazing, service is always great (quick and very friendly), and setting is cozy and convenient (right in the heart of Woodstock). Their creativity with food and beverages is why we keep coming back. Whether you’re vegan or vegetarian or neither, you’ll find something very tasty. I’m vegan and this is my favorite restaurant of all for food, people, and atmosphere. Highly recommend! Oh and the owner is one of the kindest, most genuine and caring people you’ll be lucky to meet”

“Mountain Gate has the best Indian food in the Hudson Valley by far, probably even the entire state. Absolutely love coming here! The chicken vindaloo is always my go-to dish, and my husband loves the shrimp curry. Food is always fresh and just spicy enough. Beautiful decor and super friendly waitstaff. I would definitely recommend Mountain Gate to anyone looking to soothe their Indian food craving.”

“Alba's Kitchen just might be Woodstock's best-kept secret.

Located approximately 1/2 mile just west of the town's overcrowded tourist center on Tinker St., my wife and I had a lovely, quiet dinner last week in a relaxed, comfortable setting: ample table and chair space, superb burgers and chicken soup, and gracious service.

“Ate at Good night for the first time and would highly recommend it if you like Asian inspired foods. We had Shan Tofu, the Mussels, pasta and Trout. The stars were the tofu and mussels. It’s not easy to say great things about appetizers like tofu and mussels, but let me say the follow. The tofu was made with garbanzo beans instead of soybeans. This makes a huge difference in taste and texture. The mussels were cooked in a yellow curry sauce. If you like a curry that’s got a great taste and isn’t too expensive, this is your dish. Want to try something wonderful? Did the tofu into the mussels curry. Yum!”

“Another great visit to Sharkie’s in Woodstock! We always make it a point to eat here, and it somehow keeps getting better. Stopped in for meatballs and wine while waiting for takeout, loved it so much we stayed an extra day just to come back for meatball subs. Mark is such a warm, genuine owner, and Sharkie’s is truly a safe, welcoming place for all. Bonus: we grabbed frozen meatballs as Christmas gifts and love that they can be delivered now. “We took a wrong turn and found this little gem in the woods that has the most amazing pumpkin pies I have ever tasted! It's so fluffy and melts in your mouth with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, a sweet strawberry in the middle and not too sugary jusssst right! He says he has more of a variety but since we came late that's all that was left!! I ain't never ate a pumpkin pie in one sitting.”

“I love this place! Every time I go I find some thing new that becomes my favorite. The egg sandwiches are beyond delicious, I used to get bacon egg and cheese but I’m trying not to eat so much meat so today I got it with avocado mayonnaise and hot sauce and it was ridiculously good. The jerk chicken mango empanada was insane, Hope they make that a regular item.Best BLT ever, Get it with avocado! They now have this incredible stuff to go, the vegetable shepherds pie is a perfect double sider for an easy delicious dinner and the pastries are incredible. I even like their coffee and I don’t usually like anybody’s coffee except Oriole 9. Thank you Nana’s so happy you are back❤️”

“A colleague and I had lunch at the Woodstock Pub recently on a social outing and it was terrific! The food was amazing and the service was spectacular! The Rumosa was incredible too - I would highly recommend! I had the Spanakopita and the Eggplant Rollatini - my colleague had the steamers and the lamb burger. All amazing, and huge portions!”
