In terms of quality, this bakery's baked goods & coffee, Krispy Mango is basically like Martha's Bakery in the city (Queens & Brooklyn) but with a higher price tag. Nobody living out east (Suffolk County) would want to travel that far out west for desserts that are yummy to look at and eat so here you have it (!) My rating is based soley on "the goods" but the ambiance is nice, upbeat, & yes, a tad girly so this may have chick appeal and would be ok for a nice small date. (My husband was with me so he didn't mind being there but I don't think he would come here alone, he's more of a Dunkin' kinda guy. It's relieving to know this place is open late and not just bars and standard bar grub spots that sell pizza and Tex-Mex. This is a much-needed dessert spot that has made Huntington the town you can hang out in the wee hours if you don't have time to trek out to NYC.“

“Absolutely incredible! Everything is perfect from here! I would say the Linzers are top tier! The Linzers are just perfect surpringly light with great jelly. You would expect a lot of these desserts to be very heavy but they actually are not crazy. Everything is just flavored perfectly you would thing a brownie crammed with a rainbow cookie would be very rich surprisingly it was just right. They really hit it out of the park with everything. My only wish is that you could get smaller portions of the regular cookies I didn't feel like shelling oit $20 for a pound while I was already trying all this other stuff. Maybe a half pound option or make like an uncut brick of tricolor cookies.“

“Kerber's is an adorable, idyllic farm stand in the middle of Huntington. Everything I've ever had from there is delicious! The eggs on a biscuit is delightful as is or even more decadent with cheese and bacon added. The carrot farm muffin blew me away! (I am admittedly a huge carrot muffin fan). I have always been helped relatively quickly and the food comes out in a timely manner. I recommend to locals or visitors! I look forward to trying a class there at some point“

“I stumbled across this place by complete chance. I was reminiscing the complex of stores in hauppauge ,where I used to frequent a long time ago. I decided to drive by the complex to see what stores were still there. I noticed Lavender Cupcakery but, it was closed that day.I did a quick Yelp search and,it immediately got my attention. I decided I would pick up desserts from here for my brother's bday. I picked up the following cupcakes :pistachio, rainbow cookie, Oreo, limoncello,red velvet, and strawberry shortcake. My family loved all the flavors, it was a complete hit. I loved the s'mores macaron and pistachio cupcake the most.I will absolutely be coming back. Definitely a great place when looking for a treat.“

“Duck Island Bakery is Quacking Good . This bakery is a stone throw from the village of Huntington located in Southdown. This spot offers delicious pastries and fresh bread that is perfect for any gathering. Everything is made fresh and the people working here are really nice. When you walk inside it smells so good. I recently got the chocolate croissant block which is a looker and a crowd pleaser with the flaky and chocolaty goodness. There is some outdoor seating but this is more of a grab and go spot and with a parking lot this is a huge plus as the village of Huntington has gotten too busy. The coffee was so fresh and flavorful. It is a hidden gem of main street. Sneak around the corner for a coffee and treat on your next walk. Bring the kids to see the decorations. “I am so happy that they expanded their hours. I would always get to Babylon after work around 6 PM and they were always closed. I was happy to catch them. I was one of the last people to get their rainbow cookie Whoopie pie for the day. Definitely my favorite. So good! They should put two small, cute little tables in that alley, so that people can sit and eat their Whoopie pies because at the moment they really isn't an ambience. Overall, very unique and cool spot with delicious Whoopie pies!“

“Really cool! Lots of options and is open super late. Went in at 9 pm and they had so many options even late at night. This is the only barley I know open until midnight or late. Got the chocolate dipped cheesecake, good quality cheesecake, I do wish the chocolate it was dipped became more of a shell but it was super good and rich.“

Me and some work colleagues accidentally walked a mile to the factory instead of the actual cookie store on accident. instead of turning us around the owner came out, gave us a tour of the factory and gave us cookies and a story about how they got started. “The best cakes I've ever had in my whole life! I have never ordered a cake blind. I ordered last Tuesday for my daughter's 14th birthday. I searched online for a cake shop near her birthday party location for a convenient pick up. The cupcakes were chocolate with strawberry frosting. I ordered a small heart cake as well. The cake is so fresh and TASTY! OMG! The cake was soft and moist. But the taste! Holy cow! The perfect chocolatey flavor. Not too sweet. It was perfect. “Brian designed our dream cake for our October Friday the 13th wedding. We went in with some ideas, bits and pieces from multiple photos and what was created blew our minds. Everyone was speechless when it came out. Aside from the delicious taste of the cake itself the details and time that was poured into it is one that we truly appreciate and love. We been to the shop multiple times before the wedding just to grab some goodies because everything is tasty and above the typical/traditional desserts you’d expect. Not so Easy to find these days and often awful, especially the super dry undercooked doughy bagel bakery or supermarket variety. I am pleased to report that Zuckers Hamentashen are superb! Crisp dough, slightly sugar glazed and melt in your mouth fillings. Get em FRESH in store at Plainview. You’ll thank me later.“

“I came in here to text my mom and a friend because there was a creepy guy a block away flirting with me and asking for my number (he looked around my dad’s age), and the owner was really nice and let me sit. I decided to buy a cookie (the oval ones with jelly inside and chocolate at the top) and she gave it to me for free!! A few years back, the son vin took over and vamped it up a little.They offer some delicious cakes, pasties, and baked goods. “The food is very good. But every time I visit, I get a sandwich, and I'm never asked if I want a side salad that comes with the sandwich. I go there every week and they are always busy but the service is fast. With so much traffic, I wonder why they don't update the very small space they have.“

“This was my second visit to this adorable shop. The displays are always filled with delightful treats and an amazing variety. Last time, we sampled one of each of their macarons. Perfection. From the feet on the macarons to the light but flavorful fillings, we knew we had to return for more treats. This visit the macaron shelf was filled with small individual cakes. We could not resist. We tried the carrot cake and red velvet cakes and I opted for a black and white cookie as well. Service was fast and the ladies at this shop are very amicable. I appreciate and value good service and this location is top notch. The store is clean and they have a drink station also. We will most definitely be coming back again. “Great little greek bakery. They also have packaged items from Greece and frozen foods. I took my 90 year old mother there, and the 2 women working in the store were super friendly and helpful. We found many items that aren't readily available in most stores. The baked goods were excellent, we bought baklava, galatobureko, spanakopita and tiropita. I recommend all of them. Again, the women working there were very friendly and helpful, beautiful on the outside and on the inside. My mother was very happy that we stopped at this place. Thank you for a great experience.“

“I live in Florida and was recently talking to my brother how you can’t get good crumb cake here. Entenmans is garbage and he told me about Brooklyn delight. I placed an order for four crumb cakes cakes and 12 muffins. Needed to try the crumb cake, Could not wait until the morning.I will say I’m New York City born and raised and have gotten great product from local bakeries for many years while living up there. This crumb cake is the very best I have ever had, haven’t tried the muffins yet but I’m hoping they be as good. Can’t get a good corn muffin down here so I’ll keeping my fingers crossed. I was concerned about the packaging and shipping. They did an absolutely great job. No damage to the product at all.“

“Nice new location for Paris Baguette in Plainview Shopping Centre! Just what this area needed, another a pastry and cake shop as an option. Love PB cakes and pastries. Definitely spacious as one walks in to look and select pastries, cakes, sandwiches, drinks they wish to purchase and either dine in or take out. Cakes are nice and cream is light and not heavy. If you need a cake with writing, need to pre-order at least 2 days in advance for pickup. Mochi donuts are delicious and good to share, along with the pastries. They have seasonal specials and special promos for PB members who have signed up and use the app. PB reward members earn points with the app for every purchase so don't forget to scan. And if redeeming rewards, only one reward can be redeemed at a time.“

“We made it back to Long Island after 6 years. So much has changed but not Cieslak's Modern Bakery. It has been our favorite for years and still is the best. Everything from their rolls, breads, cakes, donuts and other goodies are absolute delicious. All of their goods are super fresh and baked to perfection and the cakes are pretty as a picture. We had to put in an order for our return to Texas including our daughters favorites. We left with 3 boxes full of goodies. Crumb buns, raisin buns, and bear claws. We would've ordered more but there was no place to put it. Buttered rolls for our trip to the airport. One of our carry ons was our package from Cieslak's. “Best bagels I've ever had in recent days and also growing up. Service is fast and easy and is a nice in and out type of place with street parking or parking in the LIRR lot across the street. The breakfast sandwiches are perfect and the bagels are fresh, soft on the inside and perfect on the outside. The cream cheese is also very fresh and delicious. It's a great local spot to go to in the local town.“

“Europian way to make pastries, bread and cookies. Amazing taste of chocolate and fruits cakes. We took three different cakes to try and all three were good. One of them was legendary “drunk sour cherry” with cherries soaked in cognac and thick layer of chocolate on a top. Such a great combination! The second was with the layer of raspberries in jelly. Mild and slightly sour taste of raspberries makes you think that it’s still summer outside. The third one was plain soft cake with whipped cream and mix of berries and fruits: kiwi, blackberries, oranges, raspberries, strawberries and grapes. You will love it. Believe me. Delicious cake! We didn’t stop on cakes and took two different loaves of bread. One with seeds and the other one with onions and olives. It smells and tastes like authentic Italian bread. I was really excited to find this bakery on my trip to Long Island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you chance to taste a piece of bread to figure out if you want it. My best recommendations to everyone who is looking for sweets and a good quality of bread.“
