“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“Great spot, total hidden gem. I come in here time to time and their gelato is fantastic. My two favorites are the pistachio and rainbow cookie gelato ?.. they also have a nice selection of pastries / cakes. If you have a sweet tooth the cannoli creme filled lobster tails were amazing as was the rainbow cookie cheese cake! Last but not least they have a wide range of offerings as far as coffee & espresso!“

Parking: It's a busy strip of stores. So off hours are easy. But prime time, it's difficult.“

“I figured I would try this place out as they are one of the few places where I can find any coconut flavors. I got a medium cup of ice cream for$6.50 (includes tax). You get 3 scoops. I got coconut, toasted coconut, and chocolate lovers. It was amazing and worth the price which I can't say for other places. I would recommend giving this a try, There is lots of seating and the workers were pleasant.“

“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?“

“If there was an option for ten stars, I'd rate this place ten stars across the board! EVERY time I go to this location in Bay Shore, I'm so impressed on how spotless the whole place is. The one lady & man (he's usually in the back unless a few customers come in) that are always there are so nice. The lady is constantly cleaning up after herself after everything she makes. You can see that they work hard & appreciate the business. They give excellent customer service & I HIGHLY recommend this Carvel!



Parking: Because there are other merchants in the same plaza, parking isn't always so good.“

“I love everything about this place. The cookies. The atmosphere, the wall with the huge cookie. The people there are extremely nice and I just love watching everyone bake their cookies, and they are very sanitary too!! Cookies are absolutely the best I come here very often. I threw up eating the large Reeces Peanut butter though. It was absolutely bomb but I just can’t take sugar like that.“

“Purchased this beautiful unicorn cake yesterday! It’s so freaking cute & was delicious! I tried the strawberry soft serve which was dairy free & made with oat milk. It was ok for what it was. Don’t think I’d purchase that one again. They did have about 4-5 options that were dairy free & cannot wait to try those next! Zhao helped us (as per the receipt) & she was so kind & gave phenomenal service. Very quick too. The store itself was so clean & they had a ton of options as far as cakes go and even the frozen ice cream section. Will definitely come back again & again ?

“My favorite place in Kings Park! We try and get our ice cream with their black cherry topping as often as possible. It is a challenge since we live in NH.“

“I was actually trying to go to the hamburger spot next door and saw this spot when looking for parking. There was a long line for the hamburger spot so I figured I'd get a small thing of ice cream to eat while we waited. I came here on a Saturday evening around 6pm and parking was hard to find. However, there was always someone leaving the lot.

There was no line for ice cream and staff was friendly. Credit cards are accepted. I decided on a small cup of soft serve chocolate ice cream (~$4) which was a good amount for one person. Full of flavor and very creamy. I would definitely return to try other menu items!“

“It’s not just Wednesday is Sundae at Carvel .. any day is great for a Sundae ! Was given a sample cup of the Strawberry Soft Serve because I said I had never had it before .. it was amazing. “Everyone who grows up on Long Island knows that Ralph's Ices is a staple. All of the locations are excellent, but this one right here takes it to the next level. Recently renovated, super clean and very efficient.

The staff goes above and beyond offering a seemingly endless array of tastings and flavors (Kudos to Maddy for being the best). The drive-thru is so convenient, they offer ice cream & soft serve as well, and they even have a candy bar! Cannot recommend enough.“

“Ralphs Italian Ices are always great. It was on the visit bucket list since my kids have never had them. As always the food was great. The staff, not so much. They seemed bothered by us being there, and both seemed to be having a miserable day. In the end, we got what we went for, spent some time as a family, and enjoyed our snack after a very tough day saying goodbye my mother-in-law.“

“I have been told Carvel is the best icecream around Long Island and from what I've seen and experienced it really is amazing!
This location has this old school ice cream parlor feel! The staff are very friendly and very professional!
The shop was super clean and well laid out! There was wide selection of cakes, soft serve ice creams and hard ice cream!
When we requested our orders the service was quick and friendly!
I highly recommend getting the Triple Chocolate Brownie hard ice cream!“

“We went today for smoothies. The girl behind the counter Belair (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was amazing. She was by herself and today was very hot. There were a lot of customers coming in and she handled every person with a smile and excellent customer service.“

“My husband ordered my birthday cake at the carvel on Hicksville Road. He ordered a few days ahead of time. He went to pick up the cake and it completely incorrect. They offered 5 dollars off and said they could not have the correct cake done today. He left and called Carvel on Park Blvd. They had it ready in 30 minutes. It may be further from our home but they were able to accommodate very quickly. We will be going there from now on.“

“Owner is really friendly! I ordered a birthday cake and emailed him a jpg to put on the top (a cartoon image with my kid's name on it). He had great suggestions for the color of the icing to complement the graphic. Easy and smooth transaction, clean business, and the cake came out perfect!“
