Great stuff. And for an entree was ribs, brisket with sides of chili and salad. A came.with cornbread Everything was spectacular, one of the.best meals I have had. Bacon in the chili and the house dressing being bbq ranch were nice touches. My server Alison deserves a lot of credit too. Pleasant person, hard working, and made great suggestions when I asked. The Crisp Cannoli - Bakery & Cafe

I made a post not too long ago asking if any bakeries made those gingerbread frosted bars. My mother used to make these growing up and I haven’t had them in years…

Finally made it to east green bush today early enough(they close at 3)

Anyways..
I got 2 of the gingerbread bars, 1 big m&m cookie, and 1 not pictured chocolate covered Oreo

The gingerbread bars are sooooo good. And moist. Wasn’t overly sweet and sorta fugdy type center. 10/10 recommend.

The m&m cookie was purchased for my son . It was huge but still managed to be moist.
Really good- according to him.

And the chocolate coverd Oreo as you can tell was delicious. That’s the first thing he ate( as to why there’s no picture)

Everything was decently priced too.
This was all under $10 and those gingerbread bars are NOT small“

“Oh my goodness!!! I had the BEST Mexican pizza Friday night. The barbacoa was so tender and all the other ingredients were as fresh as if they had just come off the plant. I’m already planning to go back soon to have it again. Would recommend this place 100%!!!“

“I was on the hunt for a Garbage Plate in my new home of the Capital Region; this is the only place I could find one on the menu...and I looked all over. I spent way too much time toiling with the prospect of not being impressed by a plate 200+ miles from Rochester. In my head, I said to myself, there are plates in Rochester that don't even impress; why should I give the time of day to someone so far removed? It took me over two years to finally pull trig. In retrospect, I am kicking myself. Portions aside, the plate here is absolutely fantastic, like wtf. The meat sauce seems to keep the obligatory warmth of nutmeg and cinnamon, but has a delicate spice that absolutely delights in its own way. The mac salad lights up my tongue with the zest of celery and the home fries give me the crunch that I deserve. The burgers are the greasy vessel that I have come to expect, but offer much more cohesion than a typical plate. I am barely exaggerating when I say this might be Top 2 plates of my lifetime. Couple that with an awesome atmosphere and an amazing happy hour and you've got gold. Thank you guys for scratching my itch.“

“Wanted to explore dinner place in Rensselaer, saw this Asian Bistro. They had huge menu, it was exciting but overwhelming at same time. So tried different food, the roll that we order didn’t look really appetizing and also the tum yum soup didn’t taste like Tom yum. However, the Thai basil chicken and salmon carpaccio were really good. I ordered scorpion bowl for drinks, it was large but I enjoyed it. Server was very polite and patience, we liked her. First drink order was taken by 1 server who seem to be in rush, but later another young lady with smiling attitude came and her attitude and service were 5 ⭐️. Again, will be coming back as I live near by and also recommend!“

“We had a funeral June 28 2025 in Waterford and the day before the family decided on having a luncheon after the services. We didn’t think we would find a place and on Graduation weekend made the odds more against it, My husband Tom and Brother in Law Keith stopped in McGrieveys and Terry said he could accommodate us. ( even though we didn’t know how many people.). Terry went above and beyond taking orders, bartending, and bringing out the food. When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. Oh, and the hot sake is splendid and at $6/bottle an unbeatable value. SO happy to know they are just around the corner. Sorry bao buns place but you lose, SakeCafe wins.“

Trivia every Wednesday and karaoke on Friday are always a blast. All of the bartenders are friendly, helpful, and know their stuff. Great selection of all types of beer, with some canned cocktails, shots, and THC seltzers.

Very friendly atmosphere for hanging with friends, queer and POC friendly business. Music on karaoke nights gets pretty loud though.

Beer can run a bit pricey but they have delicious cheap options too.

They're dog friendly too so you can pet some cute dogs while you're drinking. And the patio is a big plus. Tables and chairs on the sidewalk are great for summer nights.“

“We love the RB, going there, the music, etc. Food is very good, great pizza. Recently did take out of 2 melts, delicious. Couple things though... 1) really really irks me when anyone i'm paying doesnt say thanks, thank you, etc. It was take out, I even gave a nice tip. Say thank you - goes a long way. 2) fries were Ok, not great, pasty and just eh, 3) salad greens were disgusting. Inedible, tasted like they were in dirty water, and 4) parking lot was thrashed. this was sat, so cleanup from friday should've been done. Empty bottles, cans, etc. Gross. We'll go back, but it will be a bit.“
