“While traveling for my son’s baseball tournament in Yaphank, NY my family and friends stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant!! Everything from the food to the staff is incredible!! I highly recommend this place and so did everyone else we went with (we brought 15 people with us). Everyone cleaned their plate and these are not small portions! The food is extremely fresh and there is a great sense of pride in their product. We loved our experience here and we will absolutely return when we come back in August!!“

“I love the atmosphere and the food and cocktails! I haven’t been for a very long time. I am handicap, I use a walker and sometimes a wheelchair and your place is not accessible The ramp is steep and you cannot get to the rest rooms. I’m sure you don’t have many complaints regarding this issue, but I would love to be able to enjoy your tiki bar/ restaurant once again. Thank you !“

“This was my first (and won’t be my last ) visit to Drifters Kitchen and Bar. I had the Stuffed Shrimp and Key Lime Pie. Everything was delicious. From the way the food was plated , the delivery to the table, the waitstaff ( Danielle our waitress) and perfectly cooked food. I can’t say enough.“

“My mom and I hosted a baby shower here, just this past weekend, and we feel we need to scream from the rooftops just how amazing it was! The staff was phenomenal, anything we needed they were right there to help! The food was stellar and all of our guests were talking about how they wish they could load up to go containers from the buffet! If you ever have to throw an event, do yourself the favor and check them out! The owner is the nicest guy and really just went above and beyond to help make the shower perfect! “Waitress doubled tip that we left on card. The Friendly’s in Shirley - food was good. It appears the waitress doubled her tip (the tip usually gets posted to the card at and of day separate from bill which is posted immediately). She was young pleasant, light skin, light brown hair with patches of blue and green in her hair. No where near worth a 16 dollar tip.“

“It's just an event space. Perfect for meetings and medium sized events. There was food served but it was catered by someone other then owners.

Parking: Location was difficult to find parking and the way the parking lot is very difficult to maneuver“

“My family and I went backcountry camping in the wilderness section of the campground. The beach was beautiful with lots of interesting finds from the ocean! It can get very cold and windy, so keep that in mind when planning your attire and camp set up.

We also stumbled across an interesting arrangement of props that could either be a ritualistic site of a religion I don't know about or an art exhibit. Still pretty cool though!“

“I had an issue on uber eats where my food wasn’t made correctly from a separate location. I called and honestly wasn’t the kindest at first because I thought I wasted my money. Both the worker at the front and Kevin the owner were so so kind despite it and helped this issue and made me a new order for half off. They were extremely kind and caring and I apologized over and over for my mistake as I also didn’t realize it was a separate location. They were so kind and so helpful I really appreciate their help as well as how this was handled.“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “We love Brooke! Me and my friends come to this Applebee’s at least once a week, and she’s hands down one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Always friendly, on top of everything, and remembers our usuals like we’re regulars at a hometown diner. Brooke’s vibe is just unmatched—genuine, patient, and quick with a laugh. “Everyone here are so nice , and that is even including the customers who sit next to us , very friendly people.
We just pumped in here from the farm visit we have had on Saturday and amazingly the Saturday is kids eat for free!!
Food is good especially the wings, our server is so kind , helpful especially when we have three kids and the youngest one is only 3.
First time to be here and really want to come back again despite we are 56 miles away.“

“I easily made my reservation on Open Table the same day. We were greeted with a smile from the hostess and Manager. We were seated immediately in the lovely patio. Our server, NATALIE, was kind, thoughtful, professional, patient and thorough. She checked on our beverages and food items periodically. Everything was prepared exactly to order and each item tasted great! We have been regular customers for a few months and the service and ambiance are always top notch!“

“This Applebee’s is probably the nicest one I’ve ever been to!
Went as a large group for lunch, and didn’t call ahead (apologies wasn’t my idea!) but they were very accommodating and everything still came out fast.
The food was very good, and as I mentioned did not take long from order time to table. Portion sizes are also very large for the price! Looking at $10-$20 per person without drinks. (Average for our group was about $15 before drinks)
The waitress was very nice, and spent an appropriate amount of time checking on our table to refill drinks and see if we needed anything. Never felt like I had to ask for anything, and also served everyone a water which I always think is a nice touch.
Overall, great spot to grab lunch. The deals they have during the week also make it a great spot to go during a lunch break. Super sad I’m visiting as I’d love to come here again.“
