“Came here on NYE for a delicious dinner with my wife. The waiter recommended the picanha. It was delicious. We had some apps and a salad too. It was all terrific. We brought our own wine. They even gave us a dessert on the house. My wife is Dominican, so she was speak Spanish with the staff and other customers. Very inviting and friendly place. Will definitely return. Please folks , help keep these gems alive. Don’t go to chains..“

“This was my first visit here. (I previously have had delivery on a couple of occasions and the food was very good.) Despite being a little early for our reservations and the place being very busy, we were seated immediately at the outdoor table I had requested in the reservations. The cocktails didn't take that long to be brought and were very good. The fried calamari appetizer (tapas) was outstanding- each piece perfectly crispy and not one piece was chewy. The sweet chili sauce worked very well with a mild heat in the middle of the tongue surrounded by sweetness. My wife enjoyed the jamon croquettas despite it lacking any sort of aioli or dipping sauce. My main dish of the deep fried Red Snapper was perfectly crisp on the outside, moist and tender inside and all around tasty. My wife enjoyed her fired cheese mofongo. Dessert of guava cheesecake and also the flan were good as well. Overall, service was good and the maitre d' walks around checking in on guests which is a nice touch. Overall, I thought the prices were very reasonable and you get nice size portions making it a good value. Just be aware that inside is fairly large and can get loud. Their windows are thick and outside you only really hear it when the door opens. Considering we live across the street and stare at the place from our windows, we'll be back, likely often.“

“This restaurant is so warm and inviting. I spoke with Anna, and she was super communicative in helping me set up a birthday dinner for my husband. It was a party of 16, and the food was amazing! The portions were huge, we even took home appetizers. The drinks were on point, and the ambiance was incredible. There was a live band, and they were awesome! I mean, this was seriously the best, and we went on a Saturday night. To top it all off, we somehow left behind a gift, which must have been an oversight on our part. Yesterday, Gillian called me and left a voicemail letting me know the gift was there. I went to pick it up today! They totally could have kept it, because it was a liquor bottle and they could have sold it, but they did the right thing. This just goes to show how kind and honest the people at this restaurant truly are. Thank you, Kuba staff, you all are awesome, and I appreciate it!“

“I found this place through instagram and went in person had the sweet chilli wings and two empanadas, amazing! Loved it. Not a fan of the yuca fries they were a bit on the dry side but its always a hit or miss when it comes to Yuca / Yuca fries. The atmosphere was amazing, super clean place seems like a small family business loved seeing that. Truly recommend.“

“Owner is so sweet and workers are attentive even when busy. I am happy to say they take their time with their food, and provide excellent service. I did not mind waiting because scenery and weather was great as they provide seating in front the place.

“The service makes you feel special—very warm and attentive, as if you’re a guest in someone’s home. The prices cannot be beat. I had a croqueta de jamón and found it bland. The cortado was heavier on milk than typical. The atmosphere was diner-like— not fancy, old school, embracing a theme of indigenous America including a very interesting & unique mural. Although I didn’t love what I ate on my first visit, I will come back if I’m in the area for a different meal.“

“This place is one of the best places to have a healthy lunch in West New York. I am amazed that it doesn't have any review yet. I tried fish and also lunch specials twice out three times being there, I recommend fish and cow tail. A nice girl works there having very helpful attitude toward customers (unfortunately I don't remember her name but you will find her at lunch). You might have a little bit of problem communicating in english, but all of the times that I had lunch there, they prepared exactly what I meant. A meal size was more than enough for me and I am not skinny, unhealthy or anything. Did I mention the price? it is worth every penny.“

“This is a family favorite! Since the food is fresh and very cheap compare to today’s prices within other restaurants around the same area. It could be better flavored, but they have their own seasoning. My favorite dish would have to be the Mangu with eggs, cheese and salami for breakfast. Cannot for get their oatmeal drink& hot chocolate.

Kid-friendliness: You can bring your kids and eat with family if that’s your preference. They do have kids seats.“

“Used to be my favorite place and ordered river vale at least 2-3x per week but hadn't ordered for a long time until recently i had craving for their ox tail combo and Cuban sandwich. sadly no more ox tail and both puerco asado shredded pork dish and Cuban pork were so bland and dry and burnt with the pressed bread which was like a stale burnt roll with 1 or 2 pickles..thats it. was disappointed the puerco asado dish didn't even come with rice and beans as was used to be included in the past. and no phone number available to call and talk to someone. very sad because used to be one of my favorites and probably will not try again.“

“This was a celebratory gathering for a colleague's birthday. The bar setting wasn't quite a vibe I enduldge in regularly but if you're looking for a place to socialize, drink and watch sports. This place has it all going at once.
My most favorite aspect was the food. For a social sports bar. I was pleasantly surprised at food options offered. I am a vegan, keto, vegetarian 🥵 yes I know! Its a mouthful but my allergies call for a specific diet to maintain optimum health. I digress, they offered 3 types of French fries, Buffalo cauliflower, sautéed garlic broccoli. All fit me narrow feeding needs. So need a place for a diverse dining?? This is a great store to try out“
