Although I was indecisive about what I really wanted, they took the time and patience to help me decide what I wanted my cake to look like and what flavors I wanted. “Lovely food, a great horchata latte (one of the best I’ve had), and truly magical atmosphere. This cafe appears plain at first, but they’ve got an extensive menu and good food, solid fare for a runner at the end of a long jog, and attentive and warm staff. The regulars were friendly and Duaa herself was present when I went. She’s the six-year-old daughter of the owners and was fluttering between patrons. A great start to my day.“

“Absolutely loved my experience at La Farine. We came in for lunch and ended up staying for hours because the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. By the time it started getting darker and the candles came out, the whole place felt incredibly cozy.

I tried the tuna sandwich, chocolate tart, raspberry cake, and apple tart, and everything was genuinely delicious. The tuna sandwich was fresh and so satisfying, and the chocolate tart was probably one of my favorites rich, indulgent, and seriously hard to stop eating. The raspberry cake was beautifully balanced, and the apple tart was just as good. The drinks were amazing too.

This has quickly become one of those places I keep recommending to everyone. The food, service, and atmosphere all make you want to stay a little longer. I already can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Such a gem. 🤍“

“Capy Tres Leche Cake is seriously one of the best tres leches cakes I’ve had. The cake is soft and perfectly soaked, so it’s really moist without feeling too heavy. The sweetness is just right, and the creamy milk flavor really stands out in a good way. You can tell a lot of time and effort goes into making each cake.

It also looks great when it’s served, which makes it perfect for parties or special occasions. Everyone who tries it always seems to enjoy it. If you like tres leches cake, this is definitely something worth trying. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a really good homemade-style dessert.“

“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

“I got the pralines & cream ice cream cake and it was delicious! The employee told me that so far it’s the only location that’s selling the ice cream cakes. I hope they end up selling it in other locations too~ My whole family (young and old) lived it and said it was really good too! The employee was also really nice, helpful, and informative. She told us the time frame that the cake can last outside and gave us some cups with ice to help keep cool since the weather was so hot. I would definitely come back for more ice cream cake!“

“Today’s visit was great. The worker was pretty kind with a smile on her face! When I came back to get a bag with my fish, she gave me an extra bag too. She is really kind by asking me for sweetness for my frappe. When I asked about the iced s’more latte, she said there wasn’t any but it wasn’t worth for the price anyways. I’m not a fan of iced lattes anyways.“
