“Wanted to give a shout out to the restaurant, Freddy’s, in Pleasantville. Went with a couple of girlfriends a few weeks ago and then again with my hubby last week. Both meals were delicious. The appetizers are yummy! Most of all, though, I wanted to remark on the atmosphere. The people in charge are just delightful. Had a chance to meet the owner. He told me he named the restaurant after his grandfather ( forgive, it might have been his father). Either way I thought it was nice. He has a young family and loves what he does. They have been open for two years, but I just found them now. If you haven’t checked them out, you should soon!“

“I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! I really look forward to going back!!“

He and his team were very flexible as I came by numerous times checking table materials and possible table setups. The venue including Nelson, his wife Christine and famy met and exceeded all my expectations Nelson was very patient and accommodating. I had a cocktail hour inside because it was too humid outside. I feel that some If the people who go in are to quick to criticize, it’s sort of like they want it there way. This is there restaurant and they are Doing a great job. They know what they are doing so give them a break. Like I said in the beginning the wait staff is learning to be the best they can so give them a break. “We have had delicious food on multiple occasions at Jay Street Bistro. My friend has Celiac disease-which means she can’t have gluten. We have been able to have lunch there on several occasions. Ed (manager/waiter) was very attentive and super nice, friendly and helpful in making sure we got the correct food. All of the staff we interacted with was very nice.
Things were so delicious that I brought my husband and grandson back for breakfast the following day.
