Man it's been Goodwill since I've gone into a steak and shake to be honest. Frankly it just was feeling like a old Burger Joint that hadn't updated with the times or what kept what made it authentic. However I found myself just really craving a milkshake I figured I'd burger and fries walls at it. Well I have to tell you that their garlic butter burger with a little bit of pickle and lettuce makes it feel like its the fourth of july at a summer cookout in the middle of fall....read full review
They gave me cold food. The fries are too thin to not be given fresh. Chicken tenders were also premade and lowered the quality. I spent 30 mins here getting my order corrected.
Great place for a lunch date

Steak 'n Shake provides a great dining experience with fast food service and helpful employees. The manager ensures customer satisfaction, making it a welcoming spot for repeat visits. The menu offers great value, including the popular $4.44 menu and delicious shakes that kids love. The drive-thru is a convenient option, and the Garlic burger is a favorite among customers. Despite some minor issues with timing, the food is consistently great, with fresh and hot fries and delicious burgers. Recently, the restaurant has transitioned to a self-serve model, where customers order at a kiosk and get their own drinks. While some find the automated kiosk confusing, overall, the burgers and fries remain delicious, and the wait times are short. Despite the changes, Steak 'n Shake continues to be a kid-friendly and wheelchair-accessible restaurant that serves tasty food quickly and at an affordable price.
