We had the June special drinks and dessert. I recommend both. We loved the tempura mushrooms and grilled peppers. The restaurant is pricey with relatively small portions, but the quality is there. “First and foremost, I’d like to thank Simon the bartender for making my first time at The Pearl an experience. Words can’t describe how great of a host he was. Simon recommended nothin but best drinks and food. He didn’t miss. First was N’Awlins Oysters were phenomenal and the Hanger Steak was out of this world! “I've been to this location to enjoy dinner on multiple occasions. 85% of the time, the entire experience is fantastic, but my most recent experience left me wanting. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues tied to getting our bill correct, and then, adding insult to injury, I ended up going home with a considerable stomachache. Fortunately, it didn't end up being any worse than that, but let's just say I had some concerns on that drive. 😬 but besides that, the food was very tasty, came out quickly, and I believe was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who comprised the party - being made up of eight people. That is another point: this location can accommodate larger groups as well as smaller groups. Also, I strongly recommend the chocolate chip cookie 🍪 , which I know couldn't have been the culprit of my stomachache, because I saved it to enjoy at a later time. In fact, the chocolate chip cookie is one of the primary reasons why I'm excited to go to Northstar whenever it comes up as a dining option! The homemade ginger ale and kombucha are favorites of mine, as well as the North Star Burger - and that is coming coming from somebody who is a meat-eater most of the time! Enjoy!“

“This is one of my very favorite restaurants. Everything my husband and I ordered last night was absolutely delicious: salmon with couscous salad side, BBQ ribs with fries and slaw, an extra side of tomato/feta salad, and carrot cake for dessert. I never thought I could eat ribs without getting messy so it was a bonus to be able to eat them without ever picking them up! They were thick and saucy without being sloppy. The sauce (house made, I was told) was sticky and coated nicely and there was a lot of meat on each bone. They were so tender that I could simply run my fork over them to eat. The slaw was different than I've ever had - not sweet but a lot of flavor without being too savory. I never go to Hudson 29 without ordering the tomato/feta side - this time is was our appetizer. We've dined here numerous times and I've never received anything I didn't like. If you like french dip sandwiches, theirs is scrumptious. It was a difficult to order something new this trip but I'm so glad I did. I think I found my new favorite meal - the BBQ ribs. We were celebrating our anniversary and our carrot cake was served with a chocolate Happy Anniversary sign on top. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive as well. If I had any TINY wish, it would be that the restaurant wasn't quite so noisy. It can be difficult to have a conversation and hear over the noise. Eat at Hudson 29 - you won't regret it!“

Deluxe biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs was quite a different take, but a bit spicy and tasty.
Deluxe egg sandwich was solid choice but a bit more plain and standard. Sunrise burrito with pork sausage was very good and definitely a whole meal in one wrapper.
Counter service with table delivery. Newer decor and friendly staff to go with the great food. Inside or outdoor dining options.

“Have been wanting to try this place forever and finally made it in today with my best friend, what a disappointment. Their posted hours show open till 2:30 pm, we arrived at 1:50 (plenty of time for some pancakes and coffee.) The weight staff was in full on cleanup mode and made it Very obvious they were done working for the day with the way we were greeted. I ordered decaf coffee and was told there was none left so decided to have regular and then didn't even get a full cup of that. At $4.99 a pop I need a full cup. I looked at my friend and said "they don't want to wait on us they are annoyed that they are already cleaning up and we came in" she agreed so when the server came back I politely said "we will just elsewhere we can tell you're cleaning up for the day" There was no "oh you are fine, you still have 40 minutes" or anything like that there just " are you sure?" We left and headed down the street to Delaney's Diner who would also be closing in about an hour at 3 PM but a TOTALLY different vibe. Greeted with a smile from the person at the hostess stand and 2 of the chefs even looked over and smiled and said welcome come on in! We looked at each other and said much better, we are definitely in the right place now. I've heard nothing but good things about the pancakes at the Pancake House I only wish I would have got to experience them But being treated well is more important to me than food. I understand wanting to be done work for the day believe me but it wasn't like we walked in with 3 minutes till closing. Oh well 🤷‍♀️“

SŌW Plated was founded by people who wanted to demonstrate that brain healthy and mood supportive food could also be delicious. We had a wonderful conversation with one of the owners who is interested in what I am doing with both the Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition and Eating Protein Saves Lives.
