“Teenie's is a local bar. Friday's they serve handmade pierogi's and fish baked, broiled or fried. Other side dished include cole slaw and mac and cheese which are all delicious but get there early because they draw a big crowd or call and order a pickup to go.“

“If you know you know best barbecue in town... great atmosphere one of those places you don't find too much anymore..... Everybody's friends and everybody knows your name... Still bringing live music a lot of bands that people don't know but need to be heard they've always been on The cutting edge I would highly recommend this place if you want to go try some ribs or wings hear a good band or drink a Pabst Blue ribbon... This is the place these guys are like family“

“Food? Seriously? Well, not for the food. But for the beer, watching Gunsmoke on TV, and pool tables and darts, this is a damn nice joint. Open at 11 or noon every day, well except Mondays. Mondays is hit or miss, depends on if anyone answers the door. I’m kidding! And seriously. Two good bar pool tables. That and the ginger ale (I don’t even drink!) and the folks who patronize the place are why I like it here.“

“This place is a hidden gem! I got off the interstate looking for a place to have dinner. Everything is fast food with the occasional family restaurant. I found this place by chance and am so glad I did. By far the best Indian food I’ve ever had, and I’ve been around the globe many times for work. Top notch! I’m going to make this place a priority each time I travel through from now on! The food is AWESOME!?“

“The Smucker house is a great way to enjoy friends and have fun. Rent it for a shower, a family event, or for a place for your club to meet. It is beautifully decorated. It was left by Ruth Smucker to the ladies of Salem to use. It is maintained by the Salem Women’s Federation of Clubs.“

“The Village Pump is a great place! The atmosphere is extremely friendly. And the food is some of the tastiest in the area! We’ve been going there for many years and we have never had a bad meal yet! Food comes out piping hot every time and is very flavorful! They have specials each day that are always amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone!“
