“One of my favorites. The food and atmosphere are terrific. We prefer to sit in the booths near the fireplace. The service is good but not great. We’ve had a waitress a few times that is excellent but we’ve had a couple of other servers that were good but not great which makes the service a bit inconsistent for me. Overall we really enjoy coming here and would recommend for others.“

“We stumbled upon this place and it was just the most perfect rainy day brunch spot. My boyfriend has steak and eggs. I had the western omelette with a side of pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious and extremely reasonably priced. I ordered a half iced tea + half lemonade off the menu, which Gina specially prepared for me. It was our first time here but Gina and her team treated us like family. This place is just stellar all around and we can’t wait to come back!!“

“This is a very interesting and cool place to visit. From the beer selection to the facility it self. Being a brewing company with a wide variety of Ales and IPAs for everyone. We loved the self guided tour you can take. It's just a walk around hallway posted on the walls. It tells you the beginning history of the Fat Head Company and how it landed in Ohio. Yes....we purchased a tin sign for the garage.“

“Beaucoup Bucks at Bucci's. Prices were kinda high for quantity not necessarily for its quality. We had 14 person bday party on a Sunday afternoon. Pretty busy in there. Nice ambiance but really kinda loud probably since it's so tight in there. We had 2 servers, & were great. They let us bring our own cakes in & servers brought it out w/ candles so that was perfect. My Buccis burger was tasty & a large size. It only came w/ chips so I subbed salad for $3 so it was $17 which was a bit steep. The bruschetta was good but the toastinis were super hard - all crunch & no chew so it exploded as you bit it. Not many of us ate them therefore. Others got the French onion soup & calamari which were unfinished so not sure they loved em. The steak was reported good but a pretty penny. My two cousins next to me got 2 apps 2 entrees & 2 sodas and their bill was $90! Wow. Although the kids meal chicken tenders was huge & a great value. Nice place & good food w/ robust prices.“

“My 13 year old son and I stopped in for breakfast together for the 1st time and we waited to be seated for a view minutes. Once seated the server was friendly and explained the menu to us. We enjoyed the food as it was delicious and the portions were perfect for us both. Overall, the price is fair, food is delicious, quality is top notch, atmosphere is fun and clean for every age, and we will for sure be back! Great little gem with wonderful service!“

“My husband and I came on a Friday night around 8pm. It was busy and lively inside. We were told it'd be. 30-45 minute wait but we could wait at the bar. There were actually a couple bar stools open so we just ended up ordering and eating there. Our table actually only took 10 minutes to be available. We did not let our phones eat first lol, hence the bad photos. I got the shrimp basket and side salad. Shrimp was so good and the cocktail sauce tasted like they made it with the perfect amount of horse radish. My husband got the fish and chips. Fish was flaky and tender and the fries were yummy! Even though both items were fried, they didn't feel super greasy or heavy. We loved our meals and would recommend.“

“My cousin and I went to swensons early this evening and my servicer was shekina. She was extremely efficient, sweet and very patient. Every question we had she answered without hesitation and with a smile on her face the entire time. The food was very hot, fresh and delivered fast. I don’t think I have had better service at swensons then I did tonight. We definitely will be coming back when she is working.“

Today's Easter brunch was no exception; not only did everything on the buffet taste fresh, but the staff continually replenished the food to ensure everyone was able to enjoy it. “Excellent atmosphere and food. There appeared to be some confusion among the servers on several occasions on issues I couldn't discern. Plus, they also appeared a bit harried at times too. As well, the service was a bit "uneven" on several occasions during the meal. And, more specifically, when my table was cleared between courses, silverware was not automatically replenished. Plus, there were noticeable gaps in getting my table cleared between courses.“

“I come here every year when I go to CL. It is absolutely fantastic. Every time the server is very friendly and kind. We order a make your own bowl and they have countless options to choose from with tags. The food is so so SO tasty and very filling. They have so many smoothies too and they are so good. Everything is a very reasonable and affordable price compared to other trash restaurants like Dunkin and Starbucks which take 6$ for one small drink made up of sugar and ice water. If i could give this place over 100 stars I would.“

“After a long exciting day at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we needed fuel before our return to Chicago. We googled "food near us", not wanting a chain. The rating was about 4.5 so we decided to try it. Initially I asked the other patrons if food is actually served there, and they pointed to an area where the owner was cooking. He was genuine and warm, we ordered beverages before he returned to the kitchen to finish another customer's food order. My gyros was terrific and flavorful and my husband's club sandwich was also loved. It was clear the French fries were fresh - we are some even though trying to hold up to our resolutions to eat more healthily. One comment mentioned by a previous reviewer, yes it is a bar with a grill and not a restaurant per se. It would be helpful if the ambiance was enhanced a bit so females felt more at home. The bathrooms could use some TLC, and the floor tiles a nail or two to prevent tripping. Looking at it through a new set of eyes is the way to go. Think: date not boy's club and attract a new crowd. “I've traveled all across the country and been to hundreds of dives and The Islander is hands down my favorite place to go. The food is great, the steaks are done perfectly and the staff are all very sweet and attentive, even when it's at full capacity. Coco, thank you for the warm welcome the first night I came in there. Brooklyn, Kate and Amanda, y'all made the best team and a great environment on New Year's, the rest of the staff that I don't recall all of your names, all of you have made this the best place ever. To the local crowd, thank you for making a complete stranger feel very welcome and included. If you're new in town, stop in, you'll find many new friends!“

“Rosewood Grill has a nice outside patio in the shade in the evening. Get there early to enjoy some wine and a pleasant dinner without the noise inside. In the fall, when it cools off, they have a nice gas fired firepit that you can sit by and have wine in a rocking chair. Just don't get too cozy and fall out of your chair though.They now have small plates available for those not wanting a large dinner. I think they are perfect with some wine. I tried the salmon Caesar (see photo), and it was excellent. Best salmon that I have had in years. If you are into a hamburger and fries, the shoestring potatoes that come with it are fabulous.Rosewood Grill keeps getting better and better with time, just like the half priced wine on Tuesdays (select bottles only).“
