“Dueling Axes made for an awesome double date night! It was our first time throwing axes and knives but John gave us a great intro and coached us girls through it! He was hilarious and so approachable, willing to give more tips when I was struggling miserably LOL. We loved the variety of games, including a cornhole-style scoring game (1st to 21 or 51). The bar is very nice, and they serve an excellent peach mint mule- great work, Dan. We will definitely be going back!”

“The lamb hummus is a must. So much flavor and hummus has a perfectly smooth texture. One of my favorite dishes was the lamb fahsah. It came out bubbling hot, lamb was so tender and delicious. The portions of all our entrees were very generous and could be shared easily. I was pleased with how clean the restaurant was and the service and kindness of the staff was some of the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return.”

Since I have visited Scotty's Cafe I have been eating lunch here every day (literally 5 days a week), you can't beat the atmosphere the food is amazing and the owners are definitely one of a kind. Gina and Scotty make you feel like one of the family,the staff is amazing,and you always look forward to your next visit. Definitely a 10 out of 10 every visit.”

“We had a delightful lunch today at Gallo's, from the moment entering, we were greeted by a Fine Gentleman that discussed our seating options ( Yeah, I'm a bit picky) to the time we departed with full bellies that was topped off with the Belgium Chocolate Mussee cake that was Outstanding!! Ice cold beverages and our service (Bartender) was Awesome catering to our every whim. This is definitely a MUST stop when looking for a Great place to dine!!”

We ordered the pretzels and beer cheese, Milder Mama sausage platter, Fat Daddy sandwich, and the kid’s hotdog. The atmosphere felt authentic and service was good. We reserved a table ahead using yelp. I recommend that if you go on a Saturday or at a busy time of year.”

“Absolutely delicious. We tried the 45’s, the jalapeños, and the regulars, and they all were spectacular. What’s great about really good NATURAL food is that you notice the absence of processing and junk. It tastes better in every way. You’ll notice these are not your average dogs right away. My recommendation is to order two of each, just do it, because you’ll be sad when you run out!”

“Understaffed, no supervision and a lack of proper training keep this potential hot spot way down. The singular cook actually cared but was not really trained and easily overwhelmed in spite of it being a slow night.

The solo waitress has similar issues and the place was needlessly cluttered from prior customers but could have been fixed in just a few minutes. Time she clearly had while we were there. In spite of this she eventually came around and made a decent effort.

I blame management based on what I observed. These two younger folks under good management and with solid, quality training could be really good at their jobs. They seem unguided and burned out. It would be nice if someone with the franchise read this and addressed it properly. With their potential, waffle house should try to keep them and develop them before they lose them.

“From start to finish, my experience at The Capital Grillee was top tier. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable — very demure and refined. Every dish was perfectly executed: the steak was cooked to perfection with multiple sauce options, the lamb chops tender and flavorful, and the lobster and potatoes were simply divine. Even the Brussels sprouts were incredible.

The appetizers set the tone — crispy calamari and warm, fresh bread that melted in our mouth. Dessert was the perfect sweet finish. The drinks were expertly crafted by Thomas — refreshing, balanced, and with just the right buzz. He knew each dish inside and out, very informative!

I love the fact there are soft chairs and a soft couch to sit on. With fibromyalgia,it's important I sit on soft furniture. Plenty of tables with chairs to sit to read, type on a laptop, have meetings, etc. The iced latte was delicious - I wished there were more gluten-free baked goods/meals. Plenty of natural light from large windows. FREE parking across the street.”

“I can't say enough about our incredible experience tonight at Kona Grill. I just got diagnosed with cancer, had my first chemo last Friday and finally felt well enough to get out. I've loved Kona since the first time I came in 2003 yall. So for me it's one of my favorites. Jacquelyn and Juan could not have made my first outing post chemo/newly bald more memorable. This before they knew I had just experienced a very challenging week. That aside the food was phenomenal, I had the macadamia nut chicken and holy Hannah the dessert! Made in house and absolutely incredible. I simply can't say enough. The environment, the service, the food. Worth every moment.”

“Tiny, tiny spot in Clintonville best suited for drinks to-go. The coffee is very good, I had a lovely flat white which was textured well and had a robust flavor. The menu is limited, I believe it’s all a one man operation. I was surprised by the line out the door on a Friday at 10:30AM. The barista is very friendly and struck up a conversation with every customer while he made their drink. It was fun to watch him make the drinks, I’ve never seen an espresso set up quite like what he had going.”

“Absolutely incredible experience all around. My partner E-MONEY and I went all in for the premium menu and it was definitely worth it. The fatty tuna was definitely our favorite, but the eel and salmon hand roll were also amazing. The cuttle fish to start and matcha creme brulee to finish were perfect. The service was incredible and our server was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and very nice. Great spot for date night or any special occasion!”

“Came here to get a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, was very good! Waited about 10 mins to get them (I ordered 3). Very tasty, lots of strawberries and a good amount of chocolate. The strawberries at the bottom of the cup didn't really have much chocolate. At about $14 (including tax), the cups are definitely on the pricey side but good once in a while as a treat!”

“Zaki has easily become one of my favorite eateries in Cbus. The ingredients are so fresh and the flavors are on point. I am gluten free. They have a great menu with a lot of gluten free options, it is a blessing. I get a falafel bowl and add chicken; the generous portions result in leftovers or me sharing with friends. The gentlemen working greet you with a smile and are enthusiastic about the food they make. Highly recommend!”
