“Dueling Axes made for an awesome double date night! It was our first time throwing axes and knives but John gave us a great intro and coached us girls through it! He was hilarious and so approachable, willing to give more tips when I was struggling miserably LOL. We loved the variety of games, including a cornhole-style scoring game (1st to 21 or 51). The bar is very nice, and they serve an excellent peach mint mule- great work, Dan. We will definitely be going back!”

“The lamb hummus is a must. So much flavor and hummus has a perfectly smooth texture. One of my favorite dishes was the lamb fahsah. It came out bubbling hot, lamb was so tender and delicious. The portions of all our entrees were very generous and could be shared easily. I was pleased with how clean the restaurant was and the service and kindness of the staff was some of the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return.”

“I recently ate here with my fiancé and my mom and we instantly fell in love! We had traveled here from Terre Haute, IN (4 hours away) for a symphony show and wanted a quick bite to eat beforehand. The food was amazing and SO many options!! We could have spent all day there trying them all! The ice cream was super great! However, the best part was the customer service! I unfortunately did not catch his name, but the man who was there was absolutely brilliant and made our day! He was so friendly and helpful and just seemed like an old friend! We are getting married in September with a dog themed wedding and I seriously would do anything to have Tasty Dawg cater it!! 100 out of 10 would recommend and will be back!!! 🌭”

Since I have visited Scotty's Cafe I have been eating lunch here every day (literally 5 days a week), you can't beat the atmosphere the food is amazing and the owners are definitely one of a kind. High Bank exceeded all expectations! We left with a full belly and A bottle of whiskey to remember them by. Food was incredible. Service was incredible. We reserved a table ahead using yelp. I recommend that if you go on a Saturday or at a busy time of year.”

What’s great about really good NATURAL food is that you notice the absence of processing and junk. It tastes better in every way. You’ll notice these are not your average dogs right away. My recommendation is to order two of each, just do it, because you’ll be sad when you run out!”

“Understaffed, no supervision and a lack of proper training keep this potential hot spot way down. The singular cook actually cared but was not really trained and easily overwhelmed in spite of it being a slow night.

The solo waitress has similar issues and the place was needlessly cluttered from prior customers but could have been fixed in just a few minutes. Time she clearly had while we were there. In spite of this she eventually came around and made a decent effort.

I blame management based on what I observed. These two younger folks under good management and with solid, quality training could be really good at their jobs. They seem unguided and burned out. It would be nice if someone with the franchise read this and addressed it properly. With their potential, waffle house should try to keep them and develop them before they lose them.

I think the steaks here are really good, especially the filet mignon and Seared Tenderloin. For appetizers, I had Pan-fried Calamari and Tuna Tartare, which were also very satisfying. Although the service is slow when there are a lot of people, they are very friendly, and everything including table spacing, interior design, and lighting was comfortable. Although the prices are not very friendly, this is a steakhouse I would definitely come back to when I visit Ohio.”

Even though it was packed, the staff were very attentive, friendly, and open to discussing the menu. We were very appreciative of the gluten free modifications they made for us (and a lot of it didn't even need modified). Excellent cocktails and my husband was able to watch Chef and staff prepare (in the main lounge). The Sea Bass was excellent and my husband said the Waygu steak "will haunt my dreams." We finished with Creme Brûlée, which was already gluten free. We will definitely go back again.”

The male owner made us feel welcome as so as we walked inside, and he explained how the menu works to us with 100% patience. Then, the other owner (the wife of the first owner) kindly explained their coffee menu to us because it hasn't been placed online yet. 5/5 food, 5/5 customer service, we will be back!”

“What a unique experience! As soon as I walked in the door I felt like the restaurant transported me to another place! The language is definitely Portuguese here but they do speak English as well although I am Puerto Rican so my Spanish could fend for itself there. I came alone and was sitted within like 10 minutes and then I forgot to put a coat down and someone took my table. After I got out of the line the servers helped me find a new table and offered different sauces to try with my meal. Everything was great but my favorite was the picanha! My only tip when you go here is to be confident speak up, it’s a busy restaurant but everyone seems willing to help. Great first time experience.”

I love the fact there are soft chairs and a soft couch to sit on. With fibromyalgia,it's important I sit on soft furniture. Plenty of tables with chairs to sit to read, type on a laptop, have meetings, etc. The iced latte was delicious - I wished there were more gluten-free baked goods/meals. Plenty of natural light from large windows. FREE parking across the street.”

“I can't say enough about our incredible experience tonight at Kona Grill. I just got diagnosed with cancer, had my first chemo last Friday and finally felt well enough to get out. I've loved Kona since the first time I came in 2003 yall. So for me it's one of my favorites. Jacquelyn and Juan could not have made my first outing post chemo/newly bald more memorable. This before they knew I had just experienced a very challenging week. That aside the food was phenomenal, I had the macadamia nut chicken and holy Hannah the dessert! Made in house and absolutely incredible. I simply can't say enough. The environment, the service, the food. Worth every moment.”

We came to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary, and Manager Nicole and Server Brandon pulled out all the stops to make the afternoon incredible. The food was superb, the atmosphere electric, and they and the rest of the staff were very kind and attentive to our every need. We had expected a good time and quality food, and the chef and his staff exceeded our expectations. Because I had called in the day before and spoken to Nicole, she had prepared the staff as to our reason for coming to Mitchell’s Steakhouse. They surprised us with a welcome sign on our table, and other niceties as well. Will we come back? Absolutely!”

“From the time you walk up this place is stunning! The flowers outside are stunning. The entry way is clean. Everyone greets you when you enter. Everything is well organized and clearly labeled. The prices are VERY reasonable for the quality of food you get. This is not Walmart lol this is incredibly well made pastries..

This level of pastry takes a lot of technical skill and training. We’ve lived all over the world and these are very rare. This was my first visit and I cannot wait to come back.”

“It's so wonderful to finally have a non-starbucks coffee joint in my neighborhood. Service is wonderful and Deaf friendly - one of the staff knew a little bit of the manual alphabet. I love the fact there are soft chairs and a soft couch to sit on. With fibromyalgia,it's important I sit on soft furniture. Plenty of tables with chairs to sit to read, type on a laptop, have meetings, etc. The iced latte was delicious - I wished there were more gluten-free baked goods/meals. Plenty of natural light from large windows. FREE parking across the street.”

“WOW! Having lived in Italy for almost 10 years, we searched all over Columbus for authentic Italian pizza and we have finally found it! The dough was AMAZING! The sauce…perfect and just enough. We cannot even describe how happy the La Baia pizza made us! We will be following the truck all over town! It definitely brings back great memories of our old life in Italy! Thankyou so much! “I ordered Goat Biryani. It’s very flavorful. Great taste but Mutton pieces has to be cooked well. Most Indian restaurants don’t usually get the taste of yogurt (raita) and mirchi ka salan right—it’s often disappointing. But here, it’s surprisingly delicious! 😋”

“We went for our anniversary dinner and had a fantastic time—- sat at the bar around 4:30pm on a Saturday, service was very attentive and the vibes were very laid-back. We split the Dirty Caesar salad and enjoyed the fantastic house bread to start. The salad dressing was incredible. I don’t like green olives but they were large pieces that were easy to eat around and move to my husband’s plate (he loves them!). We also split the hanger steak with the bordelaise sauce. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was just perfect! The fries were perfect for sopping up the fantastic bordelaise sauce. I can without a doubt say this was the best steak I have had outside of Paris. I am eager to try the other butters and sauces offered for the steak, but the bordelaise was so good it is going to be hard not to order it every time! My husband was thrilled to find 1664 on draft, as it was his go-to beer choice on our honeymoon in France years ago. I enjoyed an absolutely spectacular glass of Beaujolais that was very reasonably priced and paired perfectly with the steak. We were already thrilled with the ambiance and the service and the food and drink at this point, but when we mentioned we were celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary they poured us glasses of champagne on the house, which really made us feel special and taken care of. We finished the night with the Peach Melba for dessert, and I was absolutely blown away at the quality of each ingredient in this dessert and how it was plated. I was sad to hear it is leaving to make room for a new fall/winter seasonal dessert, but I am a sucker for seasonal menus so this just got me excited to come back and try next season’s dessert! If it is anything like the Peach Melba we had, I am certain I will love it. This restaurant is a little bit above our normal eating-out budget, but by splitting plates and eating at the bar we were able to enjoy a truly luxurious experience that made our anniversary truly special this year. We will be remembering this dinner for a long time, and we can’t wait to come back!!”
