“There’s a reason the Press Grill has been around forever - good, reasonably priced food on a menu that has barely changed in decades. That’s a good thing - the sandwiches, Mac and cheese, cottage fries, etc. need no improvement. There are daily specials if you’re looking for something different, but most regulars have their thing. Accessibility is an issue at this original location - it’s an old building, so the door is narrow and the tables close together and all high top except a single low top in the back. The Grandview location is easier for large groups or those with mobility challenges, but if those are not barriers for you, you can’t go wrong with the original.“

I had the citrus salad and the blend of citrus, salted pecans and fresh lettuces was unlike other salads you can get anywhere. Shrimp and grits, also unlike other places with added kick of sausage. We left wanting to return the next night. Great food and Jailo's exemplary service with kindness make this a place we will visit each time we are in town.“

“Re. the Grandview location - Great food. But, building is just fair. It is freezing in there this time of year (late Fall/Winter). With the high ceilings, any heat never makes it to the patrons inside (please learn to use your ceiling fans to help with this). Also, having doors that open straight to the outside doesn't help. Each time they are opened, it is a blast of cold air for half the establishment.“

“Northstar Cafe in Columbus was a great find. The cookie alone was worth the stop. Fresh, soft, and full of flavour. The sandwiches and shakes were just as impressive and everything tasted like it was made with real quality ingredients.

This is an order at the counter and serve yourself style cafe, so there is no table service, but the setup works well for the vibe of the place. The food comes out quickly, the space is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

Overall, Northstar Cafe delivered a delicious and enjoyable experience. Great food, great desserts, and a casual style that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy your meal. Five stars.“

“We had friends in town that were staying downtown. They wanted to grab a quick breakfast early (9 am) on a Sunday before hitting the road. The restaurant was not very busy at 9 am, but was getting fairly full by 10 am. \n\nThe Guild House was an excellent spot to meet in the Short North area close to downtown. The Short North is a busy and trendy area near the convention center. However, on this Sunday there was easy (free) street parking (you still had to use the Park Mobile App) nearby. You could also use the valet or a nearby parking garage. \n\nThe service (Baba) was excellent, Friendly and prompt! The food was a little pricey but very good. I had the Eggs Benedict ($17) and coffee ($5). In fact, almost everyone in our group had the same order. \n\nWe definitely noted this place as a great place to meet up with friends in the middle of Columbus. Most folks dressed pretty casual for breakfast.“

“It's been a while since we've been to The Rossi and we are so glad we dined there yesterday. First, they have one heck of a Happy Hour both for their food and beverage offerings were fantastic, I mean how often do you see French 75s and Palomas on a Happy Hour menu. Second, their staff, front of the house, bartenders and servers all have the impeccable timing as far as knowing when to check-in which made the whole experience relaxing & leaving us truly happy! Finally, the restaurant itself has character in a good way... the rays of sunlight dancing thru the windows and the sparkle off of the lighting fixtures leaves patrons with the impression the owners of this bar care about the ambience! I haven’t been to the J. Alexander’s in Worthington in a few years, and wow — they reminded me exactly why this place used to be one of my favorites.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfect. The meatballs were packed with flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy, rich, and downright comforting. But the real surprise of the night?

“Great food, lots of fine dinners to choose from. Their bison steak is the best I've had anywhere! I had some garlic mashed potatoes and steamed carrots with that and some lemonade. I've dined in this place before, ate bison burgers but this time I opted for their bison filet steak, and it was delicious. The whole meal was. Facilities are clean, now with soap dispensers placed around for your convenience. I hadn't been to this area since Covid hit and that has changed everything but I'm happy this restaurant is still in business. I came to eat there because I wanted to eat a fine meal before seeing the German band Kraftwerk that evening. The waitress was very quick in serving the food and very friendly. Sure, the dinners may be more expensive and there's not many restaurants in the Nationwide Arena area now, but why not go for something unique and special to add to your fun day? I have eaten here before and after attending events such as hockey games, Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen, RUSH, (Jeff Lynne's) ELO, Adam Ant, Noel Gallagher and more throughout the Arena District. I'm glad this place is still around after all that's occurred during the past few years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who attends any event in the Arena District. It's as good as it ever was, maybe better. Food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness - ***** out of five. I will certainly eat at this place again, just as I have at previous times. Kudos! 😋🙂😇“

“I just had dinner at Easton location, today is 12th of December 2025. Lauren took care of me at the bar. I want to compliment how professional and pleasant she is! It truly adds to the experience, I enjoyed my meal a little bit more than usual just because of her warm and friendly energy! Love Lauren! ❤️ And the management's been friendly and very helpful (the gentleman wearing a buttoned down shirt, I'm guessing it's the manager. “We come to this location every month for a professionals luncheon in their event space upstairs. The team takes such amazing care of us. James is extremely accommodating and always communicates back quickly. Stew always checks in after our lunches to make sure the service was good. Giovanni takes such good care of us, always patient and kind, always in a good mood. He makes it such a good experience for us. The food is always hot and fresh, and it is always good. Highly recommend for just casual dining or if you have an event. You won’t be disappointed!“

We are out of town and decided to try this as we ate at the one in Cincinnati before he had allergies! The manager came out. “Why are all the gems found in the rough? This was the best gyro I’ve had in Columbus The lamb was cooked to perfection regardless of how long it might have been sitting precooked. The pita was toasted on the flattop to the point it was crispy but didn’t break when folded. Fresh veggies were very surprising as well. Will be back but only in the middle of the day.“
