“My son and I were just at the drive thru a little after midnight. Service was great. Although a lady from one of the food delivery places. She not only cut I front of us and a few cars behind us. She got out of her car yelling over my car at Brandon. I lost count how many times she went to her car then came back to yell over my car. Brandon handled it well. Despite her being disrespectful and very unprofessional. Then she has the audacity to get pissy after her said he could not make an order he did not have. Then asked for his name. I’ve been there multiple times when Brandon and the Manager was there respectful every time. Unlike the day team. Anyway thank you Brandon and his Manager!“

“Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love. There are no words to describe my gratitude to them and thank them for providing a place for benson to be safe and loved. ❤️❤️❤️ can not recommend them enough for their customer service“

“I come around here often, since ive moved here, and i gotta say: this latest visit today was the BEST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD HERE!!! LISTEN, okay i love the vibes, i love the drinks especially the monthly ones, i love the baked goods, and i love the little nook-esque seating way in the back. im an introverted person, and i appreciate being able to be walled in comfy seating and outlet access to myself so i can draw in peace in between my little walking/shopping journeys. HOWEVER, the two gentlemen working today were probably some of my favorite baristas ive ever had the pleasure of interacting with, because 1) they were chill. 2) they played some absolute classic jams on the speakers today, and 3) MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY LEFT ME ALONE THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS SITTING DOWN!!! Almost *every* previous time ive come down here to relax and take a load off while im working on art, all of the other baristas would literally, without fail, check on me every 5-10 minutes. Moreso than any of the other customers, to the point where i would get extremely uncomfortable and leave earlier than i wanted to. But today? I was anticipating the inevitable eyes boring into the back of my skull reflecting on the window glass after the first 15 minutes, and yet, there was nothing. i was RELIEVED!!!! the dudes working today, im so happy thats who was clocked in, I haven't had a peaceful coffee shop hangout in a hot minute! Would recommend anyone to come in, their drinks are very strong and delicious 😋“

“I grew up on Long Island NY and now reside in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East TN with my gf, so we know good coffee spots! This charming little place just so happened to be across the street! It was our check out day after I sang the National Anthem the night before for the Florence Y'all's. I had a capuchino, my gf had a latte. Both were very good! It is my understanding the owners are Taiwanese. Historic building with tons of board games and an upper level where you can sit on the floor traditionally like their Culture. “This place is just a couple blocks away from the downtown Starbucks and the coffee is heaps better. They freshly grind and press each espresso shot and their coffee comes from local roasters. The space is small but they make the most of it in terms of seating. When the weather is nice there is a nice outdoor area as well.

They sometimes have a selection of pastries, but they are limited so I don't count on the food here. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee or tea, though, this is the perfect spot.“

“We were visiting from Buffalo and my wife had read about the distillery in whiskey advocate so we wanted to take a tour . We really really enjoyed it . Carus - I hope I spelled his name correctly gave us the tour and it was very informative and fun getting the chance to talk to him and ask as many questions as we wanted. It’s a neat little distillery with excellent products , a cool backstory and a nice bar area for excellent cocktails . “I was passing through town and decided to stop at Villa Mocha — and I’m so glad I did! It’s a quaint little shop with absolutely delicious coffee. I ordered the apple blueberry pie and my husband got the apple doughnut… omg, both were incredible. I wish this place was local to us in Nashville because I’d be here all the time. I also had the pleasure of meeting Lydia and Hunter, who were so kind and welcoming. If we pass through again, I’ll definitely be back. “I went in today to get a coffee and I braved it and brought my 3 year old and 10 month old. It ended up being a hot mess express with bringing my kids for many reasons but the barista Samantha was so sweet, helpful and patient the whole time. Right after I got my coffee my baby spilled all of it everywhere and she stopped what she was doing immediately to clean it up and then got me another free drink despite me telling her not to and despite it being pretty busy. I felt horrible but she made me feel comfortable and at ease. 10/10, recommend this location! Thank you Samantha!“

“I’ve been coming here for a couple years. It is a gem of a place. You cannot find better food for this price downtown or anywhere else in general. Every member of the team there is very friendly and has nailed customer service. Today I was inspired to write this review because I saw the chef making some French toast. He was treating the motions with so much care, attention, and grace, it was like watching an artist at work. It is clear the people here take pride in their work, and you can taste it. Cincinnati is lucky to have this place!“

“This French style bakery in downtown Cincinnati on the corner of 4th and Race Streets is so good. There are several dozen individual pastries in display cases, sandwiches, and artistically beautiful cakes. They have a full coffee bar too. There are little white trays with wax paper lining on top that you pick up as you enter. Then there are several little tongs to take and place the exact items you select on your tray. There are tables to dine in or they have beautiful bags with handles if you want it to go. They take orders for full cakes as well. The blueberry fruit bite I purchased had a delicate surgery glaze and creamy custard on a flakey pastry crust. It was just about bite size. It was so delicious. I want to go back already. Highly recommend. The service was very friendly and helpful in understanding the selections. A beautiful urban cafe and bakery with items hard to find outside of France.“

“This is my local kroger starbucks and the staff here are so kind! They always get my drink right and they are friendly and professional. Last year, my 5 year old daughter drew some pictures for the baristas because she knew we were coming in to get a coffee and a cake pop. They acted so excited and hung the drawings up on the wall! Now we see them every time we walk by and I just thought that was so kind of them. Will continue to frequent this location!“

“1215 has a great atmosphere. The coffee, tea, wine, and cocktail selection are what you want from a later night wine and coffee bar. Loved the ambiance. Service was great. It's very cozy and warm. I can't wait to visit once the weather cools. I highly recommend.

The only thing I found interesting was that I wasn't able to tap to pay. This is not particular to 1215. There was no parking app or ability to tap to pay for parking either. I just relocated from another city and rarely carried cards or cash.“

“Delicious Ethiopian food in Cincinnati. We got there late on a Sunday night. There were only 3 selections, that's why I gave them only 4 starts. But the service was very friendly, they were attentive and the food we got was absolutely delicious! We also got a cup of Honey wine, which was a good experience too. If this was what we got late on a Sunday night, I can't imagine what we had gotten if we had come at a better time. Not in the photo is a side of flavourful lentils we added after. I will likely be back for more.“

“I shall tell you the tale of an office worker on the hunt for a delicious cup of coffee.
Every other week I report to the office in Covington. Luckily for me there was a cafe across the street from the office. This allowed me to support a small owned business and get a flavorful hot or iced drink in the morning and still be on time to work. One day without notice the cafe was closed. For sale sign outside the cafe and no explanation. Heart broken and distraught I didn't think I'd be able to get a morning coffee again. There are no other cafes close enough to the office for me to get coffee and arrive to work timely 😭.
Then, with the help of google, I found a new place in downtown Cincy not far from government Square. But for shame! On this particular day I went they were closed! I went to the next closest location because there's a few of them downtown. That one had a line of about 10 people 😩. By this point I was cutting it close to missing my bus and gave up on my hunt for coffee. I walked to the Tank bus stop and as I waited for my bus to come I saw a group of people come out of a building and everyone had coffee in their hands! I got so excited I ran across the street and into the building like a mad woman (passing the bus I was supposed to catch to get to work on time 😅).
And this is when I discovered Bad Penny Coffee Company! My life has forever been changed! The Iced Honey Lavendar Latte is delicious but that Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte? Heaven sent!! 🤤“
