“My son and I were just at the drive thru a little after midnight. Service was great. Although a lady from one of the food delivery places. She not only cut I front of us and a few cars behind us. She got out of her car yelling over my car at Brandon. I lost count how many times she went to her car then came back to yell over my car. Brandon handled it well. Despite her being disrespectful and very unprofessional. Then she has the audacity to get pissy after her said he could not make an order he did not have. Then asked for his name. I’ve been there multiple times when Brandon and the Manager was there respectful every time. Unlike the day team. Anyway thank you Brandon and his Manager!“

“Benson Paige is a pup who has lived in a shelter for a whole year. Today is his last day on earth since he is being humanely euthanized tomorrow. A foster took him out and spent some time at Bloc, so benson got to finally cuddle up on a couch. He finally got to eat a whole plate of eggs, a plate of bacon and experience the good life- something he never got to experience before. Stevie the lead barista was incredibly kind and compassionate over the phone with me while I tried to coordinate getting benson a special treat and helped me make sure the foster & benson were taken care of and that he got to experience love. There are no words to describe my gratitude to them and thank them for providing a place for benson to be safe and loved. ❤️❤️❤️ can not recommend them enough for their customer service“

“It feels really hipster and very easy, peaceful for the morning. I had the butternut squash scone and it was absolutely delightful. To be fair the tomato gallette was really good too, but the scone i didn't expect much from and was pleasantly surprised. “I grew up on Long Island NY and now reside in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East TN with my gf, so we know good coffee spots! This charming little place just so happened to be across the street! It was our check out day after I sang the National Anthem the night before for the Florence Y'all's. I had a capuchino, my gf had a latte. Both were very good! It is my understanding the owners are Taiwanese. Historic building with tons of board games and an upper level where you can sit on the floor traditionally like their Culture. Definitely make a point to stop here on your way to Covington KY or just passing through! -dmc-“

“I was passing through town and decided to stop at Villa Mocha — and I’m so glad I did! It’s a quaint little shop with absolutely delicious coffee. I ordered the apple blueberry pie and my husband got the apple doughnut… omg, both were incredible. I wish this place was local to us in Nashville because I’d be here all the time. I also had the pleasure of meeting Lydia and Hunter, who were so kind and welcoming. If we pass through again, I’ll definitely be back. “We have been coming here every morning for years, now. I guess it is time to finally let my family's best kept restaurant secret out. This is hands down the best breakfast in Cincinnati. Also, best prices downtown. You really cant beat this place from biscuits and gravy to omelets to deli sandwiches to burgers to pizza. They do a little bit of everything, it is all made to order and fresh. And its impressive, they just ask what you want and do it all from memory! “This place is just a couple blocks away from the downtown Starbucks and the coffee is heaps better. They freshly grind and press each espresso shot and their coffee comes from local roasters. The space is small but they make the most of it in terms of seating. When the weather is nice there is a nice outdoor area as well.

They sometimes have a selection of pastries, but they are limited so I don't count on the food here. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee or tea, though, this is the perfect spot.“

- A very nice place to come hang out or study for a while. Rohs is good at making the place feel comfortable and having plenty of space for whatever you have planned. Drinks are well done, recommend any type of traditional coffee. Enjoyable place to spend time and grab a cup of coffee. Parking is on the street, a little limited but plenty of streets near by.

“I went in today to get a coffee and I braved it and brought my 3 year old and 10 month old. It ended up being a hot mess express with bringing my kids for many reasons but the barista Samantha was so sweet, helpful and patient the whole time. Right after I got my coffee my baby spilled all of it everywhere and she stopped what she was doing immediately to clean it up and then got me another free drink despite me telling her not to and despite it being pretty busy. I felt horrible but she made me feel comfortable and at ease. 10/10, recommend this location! Thank you Samantha!“

“Chat GPT had directed us here on Saturday the 4th. The food was great! My son and I each had the Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. Annie M was very attentive, kind and had a very happy face. For everyone, actually. I just wanted to say how pleased and surprised we were with how good everything was. “I shall tell you the tale of an office worker on the hunt for a delicious cup of coffee.
Every other week I report to the office in Covington. Luckily for me there was a cafe across the street from the office. This allowed me to support a small owned business and get a flavorful hot or iced drink in the morning and still be on time to work. One day without notice the cafe was closed. For sale sign outside the cafe and no explanation. Heart broken and distraught I didn't think I'd be able to get a morning coffee again. There are no other cafes close enough to the office for me to get coffee and arrive to work timely 😭.
Then, with the help of google, I found a new place in downtown Cincy not far from government Square. But for shame! On this particular day I went they were closed! I went to the next closest location because there's a few of them downtown. That one had a line of about 10 people 😩. By this point I was cutting it close to missing my bus and gave up on my hunt for coffee. I walked to the Tank bus stop and as I waited for my bus to come I saw a group of people come out of a building and everyone had coffee in their hands! I got so excited I ran across the street and into the building like a mad woman (passing the bus I was supposed to catch to get to work on time 😅).
And this is when I discovered Bad Penny Coffee Company! My life has forever been changed! The Iced Honey Lavendar Latte is delicious but that Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte? Heaven sent!! 🤤“

“This is my local kroger starbucks and the staff here are so kind! They always get my drink right and they are friendly and professional. Last year, my 5 year old daughter drew some pictures for the baristas because she knew we were coming in to get a coffee and a cake pop. They acted so excited and hung the drawings up on the wall! Now we see them every time we walk by and I just thought that was so kind of them. Will continue to frequent this location!“

“1215 is one of the best coffee shops I’ve had the pleasure of frequenting, and I make it a habit to go here at least once a week. It’s in the heart of OTR and is super convenient for anyone in that area. I’m on a first name basis with the baristas and ordering food/coffee from them feels less transactional and more human. They sell Deeper Roots coffee which is top notch, and I could drink their house blend for the rest of my life. They have a really solid selection of teas too. The place is not at all pretentious, and has a regular clientele that is relaxed and friendly - and the place is bustling but not too busy. The music they play is at the right volume and is well-curated - Americana, folk, 2000s indie, soft rock, blues. Around 5-6pm the coffee shop vibe slowly turns into a romantic and cozy wine bar with live music on some nights. The flowers on the tables are replaced by candles and the lights are dimmed. While I’m usually busier in the evenings, this tempts me to stay all day. Fantastic place that I cannot recommend enough!“

I drive 20 minutes there to get a decent drink. When the Colerain location is 2 minutes from my house. Don't go to Colerain location. Absolutely terrible“
