“We have been enjoying this restaurant for a couple of years, dining in and introducing friends to the delicious food. Yesterday was the first time we got delivery. We were hosting a Chinese New Year Feast. We ordered our favorites: wontons in chili sauce, wok fired green beans, eggplant in garlic sauce, shrimp fried rice, and sesame chicken. The dishes were all excellent and delicious with generous portions. Our friends ate very well and complimented everything. The delivery was perfect, the restaurant had packed it all really well and it arrived on time. We are so glad we ordered from ChuanZiang HaoZi!!!“

I give them 4/5 stars. I would give 5, but they are a little stingy with sauces and when you ask for more they just give you one more and you don’t want to keep asking for more, so you leave with less sauce than you want lol. But overall, highly recommended.“

“I was in the area yesterday and decided to stop in and try this place for the first time. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and an egg roll (the meal also includes a drink). The lady who took and cooked my order was so kind and accommodating; she was an amazing host who made me feel very welcome!

Immediately after trying the egg roll, I ordered another one! I'm not kidding when I tell you it was the best egg roll I've ever had in a long time. I try a lot of egg rolls, but none are as good as Joy Lucky's, especially dipped in the sweet and sour sauce!

It didn't stop there—the sweet and sour chicken far exceeded my expectations! I always order the exact same thing: sweet and sour chicken and an egg roll. Usually, it's the standard rice and chicken you get everywhere, but here, it was different. The quality and taste were so much better! I cannot recommend this place enough. I’ve been a customer for the last 6 years and get carryout once or twice a month. As someone who grew up in Asia and has traveled in China, I've eaten a lot of chinese food. For an american chinese restaurant, New China Fortune does a great job of producing high quality dishes using fresh ingredients with authentic flavor. True, it is not authentic chinese street food, but then, I have never found that in the USA. But of the 10 or so chinese restaurants I have tried in Columbus, I like this one the best. For one, they are fast. My food is always ready in less than 15 minutes, and well packed for travel home. Their portions are very generous and they provide ample rice to go with it which I really like. My wife and I usually get 3-4 main dishes and we can get 4-5 meals out of it. This is a picture of a recent meal and you can see how fresh the veggies are. We particularly like their egg rolls, hot and sour soup, moo goo gai pan and their Thai curries (not so much the pad thai). I like that the couple that owns the business made extra efforts to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. The restaurant has a few tables but isn't really set up for table service, it’s mostly carryout. If you call your order in, she may sound a bit gruff and her English is not so good but don’t let that deter you, they are polite and efficient and super hard working. This is the type of immigrant-owned businesses that make our community great, I hope you will support them and enjoy their food as much as we do. Oh, I have never ordered them (why not?) but she once gave me a treat of a dozen freshly fried, hot donut balls tossed in powdered sugar. They were amazing and I almost ate all of them before I got home (had to save a few for my wife!).“

“I absolutely love this hidden gem on the Westside! Their prices are great and the portions are enough for two meals. My go to is the Boneless Pork Rib dinner with the Shrimp Fried Rice. I love the convenience of being able to order and pay online and pickup on my way home. I work in Westerville and live down the road from Wok Wok, so it’s ready and piping hot when I get there. Have yet to have a bad meal or service, I come here 2-3 times a month. Definitely worth a visit!“

“We ate in and ordered Chow Mein and Vegetable Pad Thai with Spring rolls, egg rolls and Wonton soup. The food was delicious, piping hot and served very quickly. It is not a fancy place inside as they do mostly carryout, but there are a few booths and tables.“

“We love this place! My husband and I have been here a number of times over the years, and it has always had a warm and inviting atmosphere with really great food. We’ve had all the broth options, and they are all flavorful and comforting (although chicken mushroom is my fav). The meats are good quality, and the amount you get for the money is pretty good.

Lately we have been going back for the soup dumplings which are made fresh to order and worth the wait. We’ve had both the chicken and pork, and both are delicious.

“tldr: awesome spot for traditional Chinese dishes and flavors, don't come for the Americanized general tso's, sesame chicken, etc. Ignore the whiny reviews from sad vegans.

This place has gone from traditional Chinese, to vegan, to exclusively ramen spot, and finally back to serving traditional Chinese dishes with some remnants of their ramen only days.

This is one of the few spots in the Columbus area where you can get good to great tastes of various regional Chinese foods. I really hope they stay in business and can continue to be a rare bright spot amongst all of the American-style Chinese restaurants.“

“I have been coming here for well over ten years and it is by far and away my favorite Chinese food in Columbus. I know people who come down from Powell to get their food here because there’s nothing better. It is very evident as soon as you see the food that everything from the sauces to the dumplings are painstakingly handmade with love. I cannot recommend this tester enough.“

That is exactly what Zen Noodle does. The flavors are a close second to Gorden Ramsey's Asian restaurant in a Hilton in Tokyo.
