“Had breakfast at Portside a few days ago. Total cost was around $13. I got an omelette with crumbled sausage which came with an order of toast. I also ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. Everything was fantastic! And it was huge. We had a party of 11 guys and the service was amazing. This lady knew what she was doing! From what I could tell everyone was happy with their food. I saw people getting pancakes, omelettes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, etc. most of the bills were less than $10.“

“I've been to this location to enjoy dinner on multiple occasions. 85% of the time, the entire experience is fantastic, but my most recent experience left me wanting. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues tied to getting our bill correct, and then, adding insult to injury, I ended up going home with a considerable stomachache. Fortunately, it didn't end up being any worse than that, but let's just say I had some concerns on that drive. 😬 but besides that, the food was very tasty, came out quickly, and I believe was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who comprised the party - being made up of eight people. That is another point: this location can accommodate larger groups as well as smaller groups. Also, I strongly recommend the chocolate chip cookie 🍪 , which I know couldn't have been the culprit of my stomachache, because I saved it to enjoy at a later time. In fact, the chocolate chip cookie is one of the primary reasons why I'm excited to go to Northstar whenever it comes up as a dining option! The homemade ginger ale and kombucha are favorites of mine, as well as the North Star Burger - and that is coming coming from somebody who is a meat-eater most of the time! Enjoy!“

Simon recommended nothin but best drinks and food. He didn’t miss. First was N’Awlins Oysters were phenomenal and the Hanger Steak was out of this world! The funnel cake fries are the real surprise hit. Crispy, fluffy, perfectly dusted with sugar and dangerously easy to keep eating. I honestly came in for a drink and left thinking about those fries.

Huge shoutout to Salim behind the bar. Super friendly, attentive, and bringing just the right mix of smooth and playful energy that makes you feel welcome the moment you sit down. He made the whole experience better.

Bodega may not be trying to be fancy, and that’s part of its appeal. It’s a relaxed, easygoing spot with good vibes, great service, and snacks that punch way above their weight.

This was super thoughtful. When we went, it was not super busy, but it did pick up quickly and get loud in the restaurant - though it is a sports bar, - it DOES carry restaurant quality, and I would most definitely recommend. “Experienced this establishment for brunch on a Saturday morning at 11:30. Had reservations, but they were not needed this time of day. Seated right away by a friendly hostess and received quick attention by our waiter for our party of 9. The Brussel sprouts and honey jalapeño cornbread appetizers were top notch. Flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had the Short Rib Hash which was a large bowl of braised beef short rib, Yukon potato hash with crispy brussels sprouts, cheddar cheese, tomato jus, and topped with scrambled eggs. Too much to finish! Others had the steak sandwiches, burgers, frittata burrito and the harvest salad. Drinks were constantly topped off by our attentive waiter. Not one issue of any of us. Looking forward to our next dining experience at the Hubbard Bar and Grille!“
