“The Hilliard Yabo’s is an awesome place to eat and hang out with friends. The food and drinks are very good. They also have held a few bourbon tastings there also. You get to taste bourbon and learn a little more about it. They also pair up a taco that goes well with each of the bourbons. It was very well organized, informative and just plain fun! “Impeccable service, intimate booths, well stocked bar, and approachable feel. Our waiter made me feel like we were old friends, he was accommodating and helpful with selections. They have a well stocked bar and I had an excellent manhattan and even a vesper. The wedge had some of the best blue cheese dressing I've ever had, and I've had my fair share of wedges. The burger was delicious and the sesame bun was perfect. It felt super cozy and inviting!“

“Went in to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff who helped us knew it was her bday, it was mentioned 3-4 times which was cool! Happy hour before dinner was nice, drinks were very good. Bar staff was kind. Dinner service was great, food was delicious. Spent 2.5 hours there or so and enjoyed my evening with the wife!“

“We have never been to this eatery and ot was a miserably wet and dreary day so decided to treat ourselves to something different. If you haven't been here, you are in for a treat. Everything was great from the service to the food. The entire experience was amazing. The bruschetta is light with just enough mozzarella and balsamic to balance the tomatoes. The rueben was delicious with generous portions of corned beef and sauerkraut. The local burger with bacon onion jam and just the right amount of goat cheese. Finally, the dessert. We had the most amazing carrot cake. Just the right amount of spice and frosting that wasn't too thick or sickly sweet..it was moist and delicious. Excellent place, fresh, delicious...Parking: There is a parking lot beside the building- there may be a front spot but backing out in traffic could be difficult...use the lot get some steps.“
“Went here to eat brunch but they said they only do brunch on weekends. Service was good and I ordered tavern stack burger. It had tomato jam and it worked with other ingredients. We ordered corn bread for appetizer. It was really good too. Definitely will visit again to try brunch if i have chance.“

The server steered us in the right direction on cocktails which landed us on a classic old fashioned and the magic of the unicorn, both of which hit the spot. For food, we started with the tempura cauliflower which set the bar very, very high. Meaty and satisfying, with a delicious onion topping and delicate curry sauce. We went on to the grilled octopus, which was honestly some of the best I have had - tender as you can get. Finally, we shared the mushroom pasta with the added short rib. The split portion was more than enough to round out the meal for us. This dish was incredibly rich but it was topped off by a clever and bright salsa verde that brought it all into balance. As we finished up, the place started really filling up and I'm not surprised. We headed out after picking up a bottle of black walnut old fashioned mix to take home.“

The entire meal took a little longer than expected, namely because our waitress went MIA for 20 min after taking our drink orders. Overall, a good experience, but poor form to run out of bread 2.5 hours into Sunday brunch.“

It’s a little cramped inside, but I imagine during the spring/summer it is much better when the patio area is opened up. I got the wings, and they were pretty decent. My friend’s steak was excellent, but another friend’s pasta was just alright. So, can’t say it’s a top spot for me or anything, but good enough that I’d go back!“
“Stopped in at 4pm on 4/14/24 and placed a to go order. I didn't catch the hostesses name but she was incredibly friendly and helpful as I had never been there before today. I did happen to trade some words with Jesse Perkins who prepares the food and he explained some of the process of what goes into a seafood boil and what sets Kai's apart from the rest. I could tell Jesse loves his job, it was apparent the owner treats his staff very well. Jesse was incredibly passionate about what he does and it shows in the food he prepares. I can't rate the atmosphere yet as I havent stayed to eat but the 10 minutes I was there it seemed very enjoyable. 10/10 recommend and I will absolutely be returning.“

I've been a few times and everyone seems to love the fried chicken, I cannot get enough of their broccoli which I know sounds odd but they put a flavorful sauce on it. Recently, I was there and a bit disappointed, only because they had a party in the back half that was entirely too loud. We, my table mates and I, could not hear each other talk, and hardly think.
