“I walked in and noticed the full bar. So, I decided to settle down and take a seat at a four-top. I was acknowledged by a server who asked if what I would like to drink. After giving he a beer order, she came back a few minutes later with a draft beer on a 24oz glass. The place was busy, so I distracted myself with other things while waiting for the server. About five minutes after, she came up and asked for my order (Crossroads Burger, single, with fresh cut fries). While waiting for my burger she checked for a refill. It was evident there is a strong local atmosphere here, with people greeting each other with hugs. There are a decent number of groups here with families and kids, so that gives me the impression this is a friendly place. I was brought my second beer about eight minutes after placing my order, and also not either the owner or a manager walking around picking up some stray napkins on the floor. After about 20 minutes my order came to the table. I figured if they were going to put their name on a burger, it should be good. It did not disappoint: the burger was smashed, well-reasoned, and juicy (medium), the jalapenos and pepper jack brought the right amount of heat, and the brioche bun was a good base to build on. I had pretty much finished my burger before the server checked in with me about ten minutes later. She was busy and I no complaints, so it's all good.The bar had completely cleared out about thirty minutes from my arrival, but my server asked if I'd like another beer, which I sure did, and I'm going to leave my review at that. Crossroads seems to be a good local place to grab a burger and a beer, and is community-based enough to make it family friendly.I'm going to relax with another beer and suggest you come here to do the same.Parking: Parking was available at the establishment and at tht gravel lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for the little kids, and there seems to be quite a number of families here with their little ones.“

“Worth the drive! They are located about 20 minutes away and I had to pass a couple dozen restaurants to get there, but I've heard lots of good things about Lakebound Pizza. So I ordered ahead, arrived on time and they were cutting my pizza as I walked in. Service was fast and friendly and the pizza was fantastic. Really liked the pizza sauce and it was loaded with toppings. We'll be back!!!“

“What a friendly place! We stopped in for lunch. Our friendly and helpful server, Billie Jo, recommended the special..fish and chips and Cole slaw. Delicious! Quick service. The food was fresh and hot, slaw was cold! Very filling, generous serving. We both enjoyed our lunch. The new floor looks great, but in the long run, will be hard on the server's backs, feet, and legs. Wood gives, concrete doesn't. But our server was a delight. We definitely will be returning! The beer is cold!“

“We stopped in on a Sunday evening after 8:30 pm. We passed several restaurants that were already closed so we were hoping Champs was open. We were relieved as we approached and saw a couple dozen cars in the parking lot. We've always ordered pizza and we love their pizza, but tonight we were in the mood for something different.We ordered the Fish & Chips and the Asian pecan salad. We split both meals and had plenty of food. Service was really fast and friendly. We were very impressed with the Fish & Chips, it was hot, perfect amount of batter and very crispy. They may have the best food in Granville and it is a lovely remodel and atmosphere.The service is very slow though and we often see the wait staff just standing around in the back.So just be sure to give yourself extra time and bring your patience.The only other drawback was last night when we were in we had 2 larger parties that were seated before my party of 2 ( even though we were there and on the waitlist first). This caused us to have to wait an extra 10 min and I didn’t really agree with the staff’s reasoning but we still had a very good meal.
