“The old standard blue collar bar in town. Cheap drinks and good food without a deep fryer. Good juke box as everything connected via internet. Dad would come here after softball games. My Grandma would cook there and is said to have started the cold weather Potato soup on Fridays, although the recipe now is slightly different but really good.“

“Consistent quality and good service. One of the only places in town where I don't worry about checking the bag before I leave. I've never had anything but good experiences and hope Cane's stays in Chillicothe for decades to come.“

“This place is a hidden gem that Circleville residents should be delighted to have - I wish Richie would bring one up to Columbus. My boyfriend introduced me to this place a few years ago so anytime were in Circleville visiting we always make sure to swing by Richie's before heading home. Everything is made fresh so please be very patient as there might be a little bit of a wait, but I can assure you it's worth it. The cannoli's are a nice little sweat treat, but you can't go wrong with anything on his menu.“

“I absolutely love the Pleasant Valley Shake Shoppe. Their slaw dogs are my favorite. They have the best hot dog sauce and slaw! I love their blueberry sundae as well. The milkshakes are great as well. You’ll have a wait for the food but that’s because they make it fresh and trust me it’s worth the wait. Definitely check them out if you haven’t!Parking: If they are busy it can be somewhat difficult for parking“

“A nice place to get comfort food. It's a pretty typical small town family restaurant with a nice menu of down home favorites in a simple but comfortable setting. We had the broasted chicken dinner. It was good, crispy breading, tender juicy chicken. I would have liked a bit more seasoning, but it was still delicious. We were there on Sunday and it was quite busy, but they got us seated quickly and the service was prompt and friendly. Goodwin's is well worth a visit when you are in Circleville.“

“Food was decent, served as ordered. Place is small, not busy at the time, several loud bar patrons were a little annoying, even for a bar setting. Wait staff was efficient and friendly, just right. $3 PBR drafts brought back good memories. Would return when in the neighborhood.“

“This was my first time going into the restaurant. The service was great to the person at the register. There was some senior citizen in front of me. The gentleman at the register took his time with the ladies and was polite. The restaurant was very clean. It was a great experience.“

“I order because it’s the closest thing to ‘home cooked’ that is delivered in my area. It’s always very good and decently priced. Reuben panini is delicious, Mac and cheese is ok, and the tortilla soup is so good! I’ll definitely be ordering again!! Thanks.“

“This captain D's is an exception among fast-food joints; I actually prefer dining in as opposed to ordering at the drive-thru. Fried fish doesn't travel well, and the dining experience here is consistently enjoyable, even when flying solo. It's almost a guarantee that I'll strike up a friendly conversation with an elderly diner - there's a comforting, welcoming vibe that makes patrons of all ages feel at home. The staff is friendly, and the dining area is well-maintained.The stars of any meal here are the hush puppies. They're some of the best I've ever had - crispy outside, soft and light inside, with delightful bits of onions. While I'm not a huge fan of their coleslaw (Long John Silver's takes the cake for me), that's just a personal preference. The fish is consistently delicious. You may have to wait several minutes for your order to be ready - but it is definitely worth the wait for hot, fresh food.Watch your mailbox for coupons that can save you some money on many of the meals here. They also have a newly refreshed mobile app and some new value meals that really are values.“

“This has to be my all-time favorite barbecue restaurant. I will gladly drive 20 to 25 miles north to Circleville just to experience their food. I can't say enough about this place. The food is utterly delicious, and I will try to visit this restaurant as much as I can for the rest of my life unless Chillicothe gets one and then I will probably set up camp at that location.“
