When I order delivery, they always pack the noodles and soup separately, so when I get home, the noodles are still perfectly chewy.Their Dan Dan hand stretch noodle is honestly the best noodle dish I’ve ever had. If you usually order stir-fried noodles, definitely upgrade to the hand pulled noodle— it’s on another level! Their noodles are nothing like the store-bought kind; you can tell they’re hand-pulled from the texture alone, they are so springy.And the soup dumpling are absolutely incredible. My husband has tried quite a few dishes and always enjoys his meal. We love supporting this family run local business.“

“Just walking in and I knew it was gonna be good. They don't waste money on decor. The staff were friendly and the food seemed authentic. Definitely different than most American knock offs.

We got 3 dishes:

The stir fry ramen was good. Perfect lunch fair and great for little mouths.

The squid had great flavor and was pleasantly spicy.

The tofu was very spicy but was missing something. Not sure what but seemed lacking.

I appreciated my ice water but the husband got the walovi. It was pleasant and herbal.

All of these dishes are easily shareable so a great place for a lunch date.“

“Drove an hour to visit a local tattoo shop, walking out the smell of the food drew us to try Joy’s… DEST DECISION EVER! The food was exactly what I look for in Chinese food! It’s hard to find a place around that reminds me of what I ate when I was younger. Needless to say, I looked at my husband 3 bites in and told him any time he wants Chinese food, we can drive the hour there. 10/10 on both food and service. “Today we tried Golden China Express for the first time. We loved Hunan Lion, but it has been closed so long after a terrible fire. Golden China Express is very much nearby for us, but we didn't know what to expect.\nWe could not have been more pleased. The Lo Mein and War Sue Gai were delicious and with generous portions. We split a large WonTon Soup which was also delicious.\nIt was a rather large order, as we included friends, and enjoyed the meal together. The online order was easy to complete and it was ready for pickup when promised. There were absolutely no mistakes in the order and we were all pleased with the taste of all the menu items. “Was in Columbus for a concert and I walked a few blocks here for dinner. I didn’t see sweet and sour shrimp on the menu (only chicken & pork) and asked if they served it. They whipped me up an off-menu speciality on the spot. And it was terrific! Huge shrimp in a delicious sauce, big chunks of green pepper, etc. Their egg rolls were also nice and crunchy which I love and that seems to be harder to find anymore at places I try. The woman working was watching soap operas or something at full volume but I had earbuds in and was too distracted by the tasty meal to mind. “We live in Lewis Center and have a place around the corner that we used to go to. My husband liked it okay but I hated it I eventually just got something else whenever he wanted it. It never tastes like real chicken to me no matter what I get, it’s weird. Anyways we were in the area 4 days ago and I wasn’t really feeling well so we just grabbed this to eat to get home. I was nervous because the 4.1 stars. But wow I’m so glad we tried it! I got the orange chicken and my husband got the pepper steak. So good. Then tonight we had it again I ordered the orange chicken and he tried the wor sue gai. Very good. Husband also said place is clean inside. From now on we travel 4 times the distance for this place and I don’t mind!“

“This location is great. I usually do takeout, and order family style. I recommend the steamed dumplings, egg rolls, string bean chicken (get it extra spicy), the hunan chicken, the lo mein, and fried rice. The people who work here are always super nice, and it's a family run business.“

We were surprised that the place had been closed for quite some time as it was our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It has been a staple for Marcus theatre area for many many years. It finally reopened under new ownership, but no sign.

The owner was there to greet us and show us the menu. Very nice guy and felt welcomed. We ordered the orange chicken, bokchoy dish, and chicken egg roll. Food was hot and the bokchoy was our favorite dish. Orange chicken wasn't the best but wasn't bad either (would get again). My only gripe is that the prices are similar to a sit-down full-service restaurant and not your typical take-out Chinese food prices. While I would love to come here again the price is way too high for us as we like to go get a quick meal before a movie, etc. I get it the prices need to be adjusted to match inflation/food costs but the price point before new ownership was so good.

All in all, I do want to try the other dishes as the food was good but it won't be on a regular basis as the prices are not competitive with traditional TOGO Chinese places.

“Back in 2016, I had one of the worst years in my life after a special bad day I went for a take out here. The owner saw how sad I was and offered a complementary sup and extra portions of rice. “This is my first time trying Halal China Bistro and I am not mad I took the 25 minute drive each way. The lady was nice and the portions were plentiful. I started eating before I realized I hadn't taken a picture. The bourbon chicken and the rest of the dishes were tasty. The rice was a cross between fried and white with no veggies inside of it.“

“The Dragon House is recommend on several of the "best of" sites. Many of the sites write about the delicious food and the large portions for a reasonable price. What impressed us the most was the wonderful waitress. She answered our questions and carried on a conversation throughout our meal. Pepper steak was very tasty rice was cooked perfect green peppers were cooked perfectly as were the onions and every part of the pepper steak was proportioned evenly, some places will throw an abnormal amount of onions in the mix to try and save a buck.

It tastes great and it's not the kind that has been put in fridge for a long time. The texture of the rice noodles is also very good. The price is reasonable.

The sizzling plate squid is absolutely delicious – it must have been lightly fried, as the tentacles are wonderfully crispy and tasty. It's drizzled with Japanese teriyaki sauce, which makes it even more delightful.

The restaurant is very clean, and even the restroom is free of any unpleasant odors. The overall atmosphere is quite comfortable, and the service is speedy with quick dish delivery.“

We were amazed and delighted with their phenomenally rapid responsiveness when placing our first order. Their online ordering site is easy to use, and if they have any questions/issues, they call within a few minutes of receiving the order to clarify substitutions, or to advise about any issue with a special request. They made suggestions if we needed to change anything, and they correctly followed special instructions/requests! 🙌

The food was ready promptly, parking options were great, and staff was pleasant and helpful. We were picking up take-out, but the space appeared large and clean, they had a bar, and kept the space at a comfortable temperature. The only thing I would say that may be an issue is it appeared somewhat dark in the dining room. It is highly possible that this was due to having few/no people inside at the times we've made pick-ups, but I wanted to include the information.

All my food from any visit has been sensational!! My husband has only gotten one item he didn't care for, so has just tried other items at each subsequent visit. He has absolutely loved those items! The portions are very generous, making them a great value for the price. They have always gotten our orders correct, so big plus there, as I tend to order things made specifically to my preferences & needs. I wouldn't be at all shocked if you find they do everything they can to resolve your issue if you don't prefer something you've ordered.

Overall, simply a fantastic place to get some great cultural cuisine. If you get a chance give them a try. It's a safe bet you'll return. 😉“
