While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. “YouTube suggested this Malaysian restaurant and I am glad that we drove to give a try. It is the best and authentic Malaysian restaurant I had so far. Server is so friendly and introduced food perfectly. Hot teh Tarik served with warm temperature so you could enjoy the drink right away, it is a sweet touch. Roti canai is good, sambal is spicy and lentil curry is good. Curry noodle has spicy kick with a touch of coconut milk and the chicken is nice. Noodle with bbq pork and wanton is delicious. Bbq pork is authentic and delicious. Nasi lemak with beef rendang doesn’t disappoint as well. Beef rendang is cook to perfection, tender with all the spice flavor blended perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you miss Malaysian food.“

The food is good, the service is outstanding and despite the place being a bit cramped at time it’s cozy. I particularly recommend this one thing I had that I think was called the Flying Pig. It was ham and swiss on french toast, and while that sounds weird it was absolutely delicious. Definitely check this place out if you can.“

She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. “Half Day cafe is an incredible place to eat! I was in town visiting my sister, when she took me here! Our waiter was incredible and made my day with her bright charismatic personality! I ordered pancakes and bacon, and my sister ordered an omelette. Everything tasted AMAZING!!! I highly recommend, and they have plenty of options if you are vegetarian (like my sister)! A small place that somehow accommodated a party of 10, 8 of which were loud teens. We were moved to accommodate these guests and they didn’t behave like someone their age should. “I don’t usually care to leave reviews, but if you are looking for something quick and healthy with excellent service, this Piada in Deerfield is the place to go.

It is my favorite restaurant. I go here so often the employees call me by my name and know my typical order. Specifically, the two male employees who work the line are incredibly friendly. Whatever they are being paid is not enough! I am always greeted with a smile and my order is always perfect.

The food is amazing, I usually get a custom salmon salad. The ingredients are fresh and taste great. Some say it’s expensive, but you can’t put a price on your health and it’s so hard to find restaurants with healthy food that’s quick to order.

Most of our group opted for the $40 three course meal, which includes a salad or soup, your choice of entree and choice of petite desserts. The salads & entrees (we got salmon and the filet) were good, but not seasoned heavily enough. But our group highly recommends the crème brûlée cheesecake. Definitely the best bite of the evening!! The lobster queso was also a little under seasoned, but the deviled eggs with candied bacon were to die for. The atmosphere was dark and moody, perfect for a date night. You can definitely show up dressed comfortably/casually, but they have pretty decent ambiance, suitable for some weekend fun. We weren't super intrigued by the menu; it was a little less extensive than I'd hope from a place like this, mostly heavier options, and maybe not a ton of things I'd order next time. For me, the mussels far exceeded my expectations. That broth was heavenly, the bread was soft and perfect for soaking up the great flavors, the mussels themselves were very abundant, and had okay freshness. My lady said her burger was mediocre. She tried both the truffle fries and duck fat fries and was disappointed by both. I've never seen her not eat fries before, so that says a lot! Service was good overall. I'd come back for those mussels any day, but not quite as excited to dig deeper into the menu. I wouldn't deter anybody from giving them a try, especially if out enjoying the park on a nice day.“
