“We celebrated our 10-year olds birthday at Jag’s last night. The staff went above and beyond to make sure it was a night our family will not forget. It started with us arriving to a lovely set table with a bouquet of balloons for the birthday boy. He was wished happy birthday from what seemed like the entire staff. He definitely felt special. The Chef even came out from the kitchen, wished our son a happy birthday, and made sure our food was delicious. Our server was Danielle and she was a rockstar. I can not say enough amazing things about her. Request her EVERY TIME YOU DINE AT JAG’S!!!! She was helpful, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. While we went at noon, the music and decor were as relaxing as an evening or even late- night event. Our server Simeon was professional and committed to make our meal a memorable one. “Stepping into The Lonely Pine is like being transported to an eclectic, chic, 70’s western in the absolute BEST way possible. We were each greeted at the host stand with a tasting of sparkling Cava. Our server was absolutely exceptional – so personable with extensive knowledge of the menu & history. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef/Owner Maddy Sheblessy, which was very cool – I’ve heard so many good things & it was nice to finally meet her.

To start the meal, we shared the signature poutine. It has the perfect amount of heat & features local cheese curds. In between bites I sipped on the Dame Prue – the perfect summer cocktail (& everyone’s favorite Brit). For my entree I enjoyed the petite filet with horseradish cream (buttery soft with a little heat – perfection), my husband had the Route 66 Burger (neither of us are big fans of pimento cheese, but this burger changed our minds), & we shared the seasonal veg (rainbow chard – a nice, light accompaniment).

I eventually moved onto another cocktail – the on the grind martini – & was pleasantly surprised at the delicious coffee (not everywhere does it right!). We polished off the meal with the seasonal chef special – a dulce de leche tres leches cake – & My. Goodness. It’s impossible not to smile while you eat this. It’s indulgent, it’s decadent, & it was the perfect ending to our meal.“

While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. “The BEST veggie burger i have ever had in my entire life. I’m an outsider and am here in Cinci visiting family. I was a little weary coming to a beef joint as I can’t eat red meat due to chemotherapy. (Ironic, I know). The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that they were able to segregate my burger from the red meat and clean the grill to the best of their ability. I did not have a reaction other than “when can I come back!”. The house made ranch and ketchup were so tasty, I’d almost be willing to sneak it on the plane to come home with me. I 10/10 recommend this place.“

“Last night our family unexpectedly stopped in while a large group (20ish people. The staff was quick to make space for us and our waitress was amazing. She got all of our orders correct and even helped me order safely w food allergies. The chefs also did a wonderful job. “The saag is AMAZING ! Its not too blended the texture is perfect. Taste is top tier. Mango lassi is perfect amount of sweetness. Only area for improvement on taste is the garlic naan wasn’t very garlicky. Service was good. Only area for improvement there is we sat for quite awhile waiting for the server to come collect payment as we were unsure as to if we go up front to pay or remain seated but in her defense we honestly could have just asked.“

We really enjoyed the special-the filet mignon was soooo tender and the crab was sweet! It was cool to have a candle lit butter and Cajun spiced lemon on the side for the crab. We were so stuffed at the end but couldn’t help but get dessert to go. The crème brûlée NY cheesecake is SUCH a treat and I’m so glad we got it. “My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! “My son & I, from the Columbus area, were in Milford at dinner time. Not knowing what was available near our location, he looked at what was in the area. This was the only place that was different. He had the mushroom Swiss burger, I had the smallest burger; we both had coleslaw. The burgers were delicious! Being hand-pattied was the special touch, as most come pre-formed. We were seated immediately around 6:00 on a Friday evening. Our waitress was prompt in taking and delivery, attentive without hovering. This was a great dining experience!“
