“First time at Whits and I was not disappointed! Delicious and such a cute shop in a great location. I got asked to describe it and said it was like a cross between Orange Leaf and Dairy Queen but with better custard and stand by it. So many fun topping options and their own creations and the custard is perfectly creamy, thick and flavorful. I did their take on a mixed custard with toppings and loved it! Perfectly blended and toppings well distributed throughout so you didn't end on a bunch of plain custard. The sizes are also big - the small was about the size of a medium blizzard at DQ for reference. On top of great product, being uptown New Albany, having very easy parking and so close to walking trails is perfect and really makes it all the more enjoyable experience! Will definitely be making a return trip!“
“Clean and friendly Dairy Queen in New Albany. Safe and enjoyable for the kids. Our food was brought to our table. I don't know if they always do this, but I appreciate the extra hands. The drive through is usually great and today we are indoors. We've had several positive experiences at this location!Kid-friendliness: Staff was incredibly patient and kind with my children. The booths and tables seat children well. I see 3 high chairs, clean and ready for use and easy to access.“
“While I prefer the original location in Bexley (I'm a sucker for the real thing) this location is cute, same ice cream, but they sell cake pops, cake and chocolate as well. I've tried all that but was very suprised when they microwaved WTH?!! my cake pops before serving, meaning you must eat them fast or they are hard and stale. Lesson learned, Johnson's is for ice cream, not cake. Last time we went all out and got banana splits. Seeing as a scoop is almost $3 and a banana split with 3 scoops of your choice, 3 toppings, nuts, hot caramel, fudge sauce, whipped cream and a cherry on top is $5 you'd be stupid (or not as hungry) to not go for that. Johnson's has the best ice cream by far, it beats Jeni's (too wierd at times), Graters (turning a bit too commercial for me) and any others in my opinion. All the flavors are amazing, every time I annoy my husband by asking if it is Graters or Johnsons that has my favorite chocolate coconut almond fudge, every time i get a sigh from him and he says Graeters as their base is chocolate and at Johnsons its coconut and in my opinion the more chocolate the better. That is the only thing that Graters does better, everything else go to Johnsons for the best ice cream of your life!“
“I stopped in randomly on Friday. I picked up 3 red Velvet cupcakes and a peanut butter cupcake to take to my parents. They said they were the best cupcakes they had ever had. My Mom said the red velvet was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to recommend them to brides. I will definitely be back to get more.“
“Truly the best. They gave won numerous awards this year but its the creaminess and deliciousness of their gelato and the creative flavors that they make onsite... no other ice cream related shop does it better than they do.... and not just cutting up candy bar pieces and cookies and throwing them in. They deserved winning the best ice cream shop in OHIO award this year from Food and Wine magazine as well as from Taste of Home and the Wall Street Journal.“
“Really nice "old school" ice cream shop. Walk-up windows up front with places to sit outside when it is nicer. Quite a bit of seating inside. Ice cream, shakes, floats with a variety of toppings to enjoy. There is also the option of getting sandwiches, hot dogs, and soups if you want something more like a lunch/meal.“
“Food - 4/5Service - 5/5Ambiance - 4/5 (Only Outdoor seating available)Price - Mid RangeOrdered a takeout for 6 piece wings, and a chicken teriyaki sub. The wings were awesome, but the bread for the sub wasn't great. It felt very dry. The flavor was good though.Overall, it's worth a visit if you're around.“
“My kids and I ; this is our second time trying Crumbl. First time in the store. We loved this weeks cookies. Our least favorite was s’mores. The Golden Oreo cookie was a house favorite. Please keep in mind these cookies are huge and very sweet. I cut each cookie into 4 so we all have a decent size piece to try. I ordered online and picked up in store. I was not greeted upon entry but after I checked in on the app I was greeted and watched my order get packed up.“
“I've loved crumbl since I came across them on tik tok a couple years ago! I would drive 20min to the Dublin location before the New Albany location opened. Do I think the cookies are a little overpriced? Yes...but they're so freaking good. And service is always super quick!!“
“SO GOOD! First time visiting and I loved it. The store itself is very cute with great parking but also good accessibility from the rest of New Albany if you wanted to have a long walk with your ice cream! The employees were super friendly and helpful and I was grateful to get to sample a couple flavors because their menu is packed with options! I opted for the Buckeye flavor this time and it was delicious - creamy and the perfect peanut butter/chocolate balance without being too rich. the sugar cone was good too- nice and crispy with a good vanilla taste and not just from the cheap box you can find at the grocery (though I don't dislike those). I was only supposed to get one scoop but I definitely got a little extra. Excited to go back and try other flavors!“
