“My family absolutely loves Texas Roadhouse in Newark. The kids were so excited to go there tonight. My daughter and I both always order the 6oz and 8oz sirloin and my little one orders the bites. We were very disappointed to find out after our order came out that they were completely out of A1. We always eat A1 with our steak. My steak had zero seasoning. Yes I could have sent it back but for personal reasons that is not an option for me. The manager happen to come around as I was boxing up all our steak and was very apologetic and said that their shipment must have not arrived. I totally understand that things are delayed but we would have ordered something else if we had known.”

“I went to elements for dinner. (Don't bother with Uber here,they lack drivers) shannon was friendly and kind. She interacts with the customers and made you feel like an old friend. Food was good. Came out hot and was fairly quick.”

“This is my go to local stop with my girls. No other place compares to Rolls. The staff treats you kind and are always welcoming. They greet you when you pull up to the speaker. Ask how you are. Something that is lacking in most drive thru experiences. Most places just say “order when ready” or “what can I get you”. Nothing personal. At Rolls you get that family feel. Their rolls are outstanding especially when heated for a few seconds. The long johns beat any in Licking County. Simply because the cream in them is light and very whipped. Not heavy and greasy. The oatmeal cream pies are also one of my favs. Honestly I have never had anything bad from there. The lattes are tasty as well. I have never tried the bagels but my friend says they are awesome so I’ll be getting one next time. Give them a try the next time you “roll” into town 😉 You won’t be sorry. They are a great small family owed business that strives to please each customer. I wish them nothing but the best!”

“Chili blog on the road. on a road trip to columbus.. After a nice fall walk and some record shopping. i picked up Chili and cornbread. For 5.50 The chili was very decent. Huge chunks of beef chili and kidney beans. Onion dices so thin that you get that flavor without the texture they also appear to use red pepper but no chunky tomatoes. This chili had a very minimal amount of spice. Overall. 7.5 I'd definitely come back for the chili.”

The restaurant was fairly quiet and empty when I visited around 4–5 PM, which is unfortunate because the food was exceptional and delicious; the portions were sizable.
My career has taken me through 38 states, and I make a point to try local cuisine and support small, family‑owned establishments wherever I go. This place stands out. It is, without question, the best gyro I’ve ever had. The sauce is balanced and not overly heavy, and the portion sizes are extremely generous. I typically order a large with extra meat, yet I could barely finish their standard large gyro. Truly impressive quality and value. My family and I will be coming here often. The owners are super friendly, they love talking about their food but they have so many desserts, I found the information insightful. Don’t pass this place up if your ever in the area, you’ll
miss out on the best gyro this side of the country.”

“I recently used City Barbeque’s catering service for an event. The service - from start to finish - was excellent & the food was just as good!

Two words - SMASHED POTATOES!!!!! Although everything was delicious, the smashed potatoes put it over the edge. The main dishes (pulled pork & chicken), with the signature sauces are stand-alone incredible. But when the sides are added, be they smashed potatoes or mac & cheese, the meal is amplified!

And the service! The food was delivered on time, warmed, and laid out in an orderly fashion. …almost as if they’ve done this a time or two!

“R.I.P. B-dubs! I will never go back there again for wings now that I’ve found Don & Sue’s… hands down the best place for wings in the Newark-Heath-Granville area. Only wish I had found this place earlier. It’s so cool. Very well decked out with a hometown sports vibe. And the food is on point. Great garlic cheese bread, great onion rings, great pizza and now great wings. They have an “extra saucy” option, but there’s no need. My wings were drenched in Carolina Gold (my fav). And to top it all off, Harley was the greatest, nicest, sweetest server I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in ages. Whoever is running this place is hitting on all cylinders. Absolutely my favorite Newark restaurant by far.”

I have participated in the recreational volleyball league for three years, during which one may either form a team and register to compete or enlist as a free agent to substitute for a team in need. Initially, I joined as a free agent three years ago and subsequently remained with the same team for the duration of that season, continuing to play ever since. The cuisine offered at the grill in the yard is exceptional, and I particularly endorse the wings. Tonight my husband had some friends who were dining at the TJs in Newark, OH and asked me if I wanted to go. The service was outstanding even though they were very busy. We got a military discount because my husband is a vet. I’ll definitely go back to the TJs in Newark on north 21st street.”

“I live in Mount Vernon Ohio and I drive all the way to North just to get their Pizza. Their Pizza is completely covered in pepperoni and cooked to a crispy perfection. We finally got a Pizza Cottage in Mount Vernon where I am from in the service is horrible as you can see on the reviews I live 10 minutes from Mount Vernon Pizza Cottage I ordered a pizza they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes this is when they very first opened at 11:00 in the morning. I got there within 10 minutes was very surprised that my pizza was ready. When they handed me the Box through the window I found it odd that it was cold. When I got home the pizza was cold as though it had been refrigerated overnight and they didn't even take the time to reheat it it just gave it to me as a cold leftover from last night I'm not joking it was literally refrigerated cold the pizza crust was super rubbery from being stored in the refrigerator. The customer service there is appalling. I will continue to drive to Newark from Mount Vernon to get the greatest Pizza in the world from that Pizza Cottage. Even by the time I get home from there my pizza was hotter than it was from Mount Vernon where I lived 10 minutes away nor have I ever been given cold leftover night pizza from Pizza Cottage of Newark. I would recommend them a thousand times over great customer service very clean restaurant great food always. Mount Vernon is the worst I would never recommend it to anybody not with their childish behavior on the inside nor their cold leftover pizza they didn't even bother to heat up before giving it to me when they first opened. Hopefully it closes down before it gets Pizza Cottage a bad name”

“Bob Evans has a vibe, doesn't matter which one you walk into they all have the same vibe. Kind of like a cracker barrel but more after church on Sunday. Cracker barrel is Bob Evans cousin that shoots dice but doesn't tell anybody, you know what I mean?

Rolls over biscuits. This is something that has ruined many a dinner conversation, but it has to be said. Also, the wildfire chicken salad is amazing highly recommend it. Building your own omelette and having a side of pancakes with it is something that reminds you what it's all about and when your kids ask for your leftovers you know you did a good job.”
