“Updating this to a 5 star after our visit last night. Under new ownership you can tell everyone enjoys working there. Food & drinks were great, and the owner gave us a tour of the Speakeasy, which is open on the weekends. I highly recommend stopping by. We ate at the bar, cheers!“

“The Potato Crusted Halibut is delicious and they know how to prepare a flavorful steak. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The only downside to the whole evening was that when we walked in the maître d’ was less than welcoming. We received a warmer welcome from the gentleman attending the parking lot.“

“We love Dean Martin’s Lanning’s. It has an updated, old Vegas vibe to it. Dean and Bethany are hands-on and bend over backwards to make sure that you have a perfect experience. You can’t miss with the bone-in filet. Get there early to have a drink in the bar before dinner to take in the fantastic, live music.“

“It was the perfect place to take my mom as she is in a wheelchair. The staff was so accommodating. Staff was spot on for professional servers, which has been hard to find since before Covid. Presentation of food was excellent, and taste was exceptional. This is definitely our new family favorite. We are all adults and no children-we will be back again and again. “My two daughters, grand daughter and I went to DeJuan's on Saturday 4/27/24 for my birthday dinner. Our reservation was at 8pm. First time going there. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. I had the shrimp scampi and daughters had salmon. This is definitely on our list of favorites. We had a pleasant surprise, we had to wait a little bit longer for our food due to other big parties (no big deal to us), however the management came to our booth and apologized for the slight delay and took care of the whole bill for the night. We did not have to pay a dime. WOW!. We have been to other restaurants but never received such pleasant service. On top of such wonderful gesture, I was given a signature glass as a birthday gift. KUDOS to Erica, Tracy and our server Navel (i hope i spelled it right). We thank you sincerely for making our day. We will definitely come back again.“

“This is THE SPOT!Small grub spot in the Portage Lakes area with outstanding service and food! Clean and cool atmosphere. Hand breaded Cod is better than places I have had on the CA coast. Fresh cut fries and fresh Broasted chicken is absolutely delicious and the portions leave you full and satisfied.This is a must if your are in the area. Its actually worth a half day drive through Ohio to visit. ?“

Why didn't anyone tell me about this great seafood carryout in Barberton?It is the real deal, I will definitely go back...probably this weekend. I do not know why it is where it is, however, it is worth the trip!“

“We went to the Wise Guys Lounge on a whim, and we were not disappointed. We got the French onion soup, duck wings, Shrimp Scampies, and Tuscan mussels. The service was great and the food was even better. We had a great experience here and we will be back for sure. Ps. The tiramisu is to die for.“

“After driving past this dining gem on S Main for years, wondering if we'd enjoy the place, we stopped in this past Saturday at around 4PM to get a late afternoon meal. We were seated almost immediately in a spotless booth with soft lighting, provided menus with an endless array of offerings, and asked for our beverage order. Suffice it to say we were impressed by the immediate service given to us by Felicia, and her ability to make us feel welcomed! The bleucheese burger we shared was perfect, French fries were very hot and crispy, and the house salad was accompanied by two house-made dressings, a creamy white French and a balsamic...both were outstanding, and the servings were enough to provide dipping sauces for the fries. We believe we have found the neighborhood tavern we've been seeking since moving to Akron in 2018! Sure, the burger prices were a bit high, but in keeping with the disastrous economic times. Super neighborhood spot for dining, libations, and tv viewing. And the friendly staff is the icing on the cake, actually on the incredibly sinfully deeelicious bread pudding!“

We didn't have reservations but were seated quickly in the bar, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, and my husband said his salmon dish was the best he has ever had. “Visited on a Saturday evening. First time there and our waitress Stephanie was amazing as she explained how to order the boil and seasoning and spice level. The result was perfect! I am also kinda new to sushi and she also recommended 2 perfect options. The place was clean, ambiance nice, parking convenient and price was in line with what i would expect. This will definitely be a stop when we are downtown Akron in the future. Oh and the drink selection was very good also if that is your thing.“

“Finally tried the Blue Iguana last night and all I can say is that I wish we hadn’t waited so long! With recommendations from our waitress we chose the shrimp tacos and the steak burrito bowl and we loved them both. The ingredients were fresh, the seasonings were wonderful, and the portions were big enough that we both brought some home. Our margaritas were huge and wonderful as well. “Tried their food for the 1st time at Pride. I had a birria quesadilla. The quesadilla was okay but was underwhelming. Very little filling inside, never had such a thin quesadilla. The menu said it was $10 but I was charged over $12. The food taste good, but is over priced. I'd rate it 3/5.“
