What that means is that their speciality is not Sichuanese. So if you go there, you should order Guangdong/Shanghai food not Sichuanese. They do a phenomenal job with that dish.

You should get:
- Shanghai Style Eggplants
- Moo Goo Gai
- Sizzling Seafood Combination
(Any seafood menu was good from my experience)

These are not the best:
- Mapa Tofu or Double Cooked Pork (they are Sichuanese dish)“

Now, this was also had some American influence but the addition of a specific kind of beef and green vegetables reminded me of the true fried rice experience like I had in China“

“This is our go-to Chinese take out. The food is always good and both my wife and kids enjoy it. The kids get the chicken lo mein and sweet and sour chicken that they call Chinese chicken nuggets. The lo mein is flavorful and the noodles are tender. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy.

I got the beef with broccoli and pork fried rice. The beef was flavorful and the broccoli was cooked perfectly, still just a little crunchy and bright green.

My wife gets the bourbon chicken which is her favorite. It is delicious. She also ordered the cheese wontons (crab Rangoon) and they were crispy and full of filling. The pork egg rolls were good too.“

“If you’re looking for the best Chinese takeout around, China Wok on Pleasant Avenue in Fairfield is it. Every time we order, the food arrives piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell they care about quality.

We ordered the crab rangoon, hot & sour soup, egg drop soup, chicken lo mein, and General Tso’s chicken — and everything was outstanding. The rangoon was crispy and creamy, the soups were full of flavor, and the entrees were perfectly seasoned with generous portions.
