“We stopped in to the Burning River while on vacation for the weekend. While the coffee and tea we had were amazing it was the service that really blew us away. The barista was extremely friendly, went over the menu of specialty drinks with us and even joined us for a little conversation when he had a moment. For the extremely excellent service alone I would recommend the burning river, but let’s not forget about the coffee and tea. It was amazing.“

My granddaughters always ask for some donuts from “the little shop by my house”. We even got to visit the Easter bunny here this past weekend. “I’d been drooling over GSB’s pastries on Facebook for months like a sugar-starved stalker, and I finally found myself in the area—hallelujah. The second I walked in, I was hit with a wave of sugary air and a warm hello that felt like a hug from a cinnamon bun. There were so many treats I wanted to adopt, but the second I saw the giant, chocolate-covered cream puff, it basically yelled, “Take me to your husband!” Mission accepted. I brought it home and casually told my husband, “Hey, I picked up a little pastry for you.” Hours later, he opened the bag and said—verbatim—“Holy #%?!”. This thing was an absolute unit. At least six inches tall, overflowing with fresh whipped cream like it was showing off. We both took a bite and just stared at each other like we’d seen pastry heaven. It was rich, cloud-like, and somehow not overly sweet. My husband, a self-proclaimed cream puff connoisseur, declared it the best he’s ever had. And trust me, the man has puff experience. Only one thought: throw in a middle pastry layer, Big Mac-style. Not because it needs it, but because my jaw would appreciate the break from climbing Mt. Cream Puff.“

“My daughter and I have visited the Strongsville location a few times, and it’s always been a delicious treat! For a fun “coffee treat”, she loves their milk steamer with pumpkin spice flavoring. We haven’t ventured away from our usual, but the Nutella with strawberries and bananas is always delicious and so filling. She actually won’t stop talking about how good their Nutella is 😆 Their croissants are amazing, and everyone has always been so nice.“

“A fellow attorney and I scheduled a settlement conference with our clients on a Saturday morning around the corner from the donut shop. She brought a dozen donuts. WOW, these were some delicious pillows of goodness. I had the maple bacon and a raspberry. It put all of us in a good mood. And yes we settled the case. I’m not saying the donuts did it, but those certainly helped. Fresh, tasty, and nutritious.“

“It’s super akward when they ask you if you want to tip-at the drive through. Tipping culture is getting quite pushy. Service is also incredibly slow, no one seems to have any sense of urgency or speed. Having said that, the food is usually decent and coffee is good.“

The ladies were so kind as my princess would say. It was a classy area with plenty of free parking . It was just steps away from many restaurants and shops . It was also a gorgeous day and I Bet it’s even more gorgeous in the winter time. Something tells me their winter lattes etc. would be craved by many.“

“There are many supermarkets around here, but I always find myself driving the extra distance to Whole Foods. I like that I can find healthy options, and can trust their brand. I like that there are many vegan options and plant based yogurts. My favorite brand there is the Engine 2 brand, really healthy Whole Foods, from Plant Based burgers to burritos to raviolis to pasta sauces to hommus etc... I only wish their prices were lower. They have improved on some, but would hope they continue.“

“The BW location is a hidden gem for Starbucks fanatics on the west side! Early morning, there is ample parking out front for quick grab-and-go, and drinks are always made quickly. Mingling with the sleepy college folk when I'm 2 hours into my day and commuting for my corporate gig is an added amusement!“
