“We had lunch this afternoon at the Tin Goose Diner, first time visiting it came highly recommended from my friend Jeff Rahla. We both had smash burgers with iced tea. Our food was very good came out hot. It was a huge bonus getting to watch all the aircraft takeoff and land just outside the diner. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very impressive. Absolutely spotless. Our server, Jacob was very friendly and provided us great service .”

“Only server to see there is Kindle…. Just like the tablet. She was super nice. Our food was delayed… by a lot…twice. She was on top of it. She was polite and honest what was going on. She did all she could to keep us happy. Wasn’t thrilled with the manager on how she handled it. I heard her call kindle out saying the food has only been in for X time. Which it had not. If the manager was going to do this it should have been out of view of customers. We will return, the food was great Kindle was a great server if she’s not working we will go else where.”

“My husband ordered the Lake Erie perch sandwich and swears it was some other fish. Size of the filet was much larger than a Lake Erie perch. After reading other reviews, we see that there were complaints about this issue recently. The menu says “Lake Erie perch sandwich”. Nothing about an up charge for Lake Erie perch.”

“You know I had written this place off because the several times I went in the bartender I think Julie was her name. Long dark hair skinny girl. The drinks she made me were absolutely horrible! I understand she no longer works there because she had been cheating on her husband and her boyfriend or whatever was coming in and causing problems with customers. Anyways I went back in a couple weeks ago to hear miss kitty and the bartenders there made really great cocktails! Obviously that bartender was the problem.”

“This is one of my favorite grocery stores in the country. I am a truck driver so I see all of the grocery stores. This one is quaint and friendly. It has a local atmosphere. At the same time I can find everything I need to stock up my semi truck. The girls at the deli always fix me boars head sandwiches. And they are wonderful. They have one of the best florist I have ever seen. 🌹🌹🌹”

“9 inch pizzas are perfect for individual servings. Everybody got their own pizza. Tomato jalapeño and green olives on one and green pepper and mushroom on another and it was awesome.”

“09/21/2024 - A buddy of mine and I visited Slater’s Food & Spirts and it was a cool and hip spot. Nice looking bar with top shelf firewater. Long dining area with booths and or tables. There is also live performances at Slater’s Food & Spirit stage (to the right of the main entrance). On this evening, Rob Storm serenaded the crowd with his smooth and talented voice and guitars. I ordered the Slater’s All American Burger with French Fries and a Coca Cola. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. Friendly crowd. Parking out front. Decent prices.”

The Mac pizza was a hit with the kids, the New York white was a little more “adult” but my husband and I both agreed that the Mac n cheese pizza was probably the best pizza we’ve ever had. Will definitely order it again when we return to the area!”

“The food and service is very good, but the bathroom stall needs some attention. If you're on the toilet, people in the dining room can look right in the stall because the gaps are so wide. A few metal or plastic strips could give so much more privacy.”

We attend a lot of the events they hold there simply because they have become like family to us...always delivering quality food, service and excellence.
