“I recommend them because I have always loved going, but last night was awful. We were with friends, who were only there for the 2nd time. It has been almost a year, and they couldn't wait to come back! Very disappointed, our waitress must have been new because she didn't seem to know the specials and the special board did not match the menu. I wanted the special on the board, pointing to it but without the other proteins, she went back to ask the chef (who was obviously thinking of the menu special) and said it was fine. My friend wanted the same thing but with all of the protein. A few minutes later, the waitress came back and told my friend that the special wasn't available. I asked about me and she thought I wanted the current special, so I picked something I knew was on the menu (not really wanting it after being excited for the special) and my friend ordered Salmon medium. When dinner came out, somehow my friend had scallops topped with risotto, which they said they didn't have. So, my friend waited 15 minutes, while we were all eating to have Salmon come out raw in the middle. So, I asked to see a manager and she came over and we explained the situation and she had the salmon made for my friend AGAIN...it was cooked right but was half the size of the original undercooked salmon. Good thing she took that off their bill! She offered us gelato, but we just wanted to leave. The waitress gave us the wrong bills and they gave me $1.90 off my bill for having to order something else. Hopefully they want to come back, because it has always been our favorite. We will be traveling and reviewing restaurants across Ohio soon, hopefully this makes it on our list.”

“We had lunch this afternoon at the Tin Goose Diner, first time visiting it came highly recommended from my friend Jeff Rahla. We both had smash burgers with iced tea. Our food was very good came out hot. It was a huge bonus getting to watch all the aircraft takeoff and land just outside the diner. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very impressive. Absolutely spotless. Our server, Jacob was very friendly and provided us great service .”

“You know I had written this place off because the several times I went in the bartender I think Julie was her name. Long dark hair skinny girl. The drinks she made me were absolutely horrible! I understand she no longer works there because she had been cheating on her husband and her boyfriend or whatever was coming in and causing problems with customers. Anyways I went back in a couple weeks ago to hear miss kitty and the bartenders there made really great cocktails! Obviously that bartender was the problem.”

“My husband ordered the Lake Erie perch sandwich and swears it was some other fish. Size of the filet was much larger than a Lake Erie perch. After reading other reviews, we see that there were complaints about this issue recently. The menu says “Lake Erie perch sandwich”. Nothing about an up charge for Lake Erie perch.”

“Stopped here for dinner a few evenings ago. We're regulars in the area and were looking for somewhere new to grab food. This was our first visit here. We ordered the Pizza, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Hand Cut Fries and Homemade Egg Rolls. Everything was very good. The pizza was surprisingly tasty for it's size and crust thickness. The Egg Rolls were delicious. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was breaded and it had a bit of old-time nostalgia with how it was cooked compared to fried chicken sandwiches that have too much breading, making it flavorful and juicy. We ordered our food to-go so we could eat at their Tiki Bar by the water. The pricing is inexpensive and we paid under $40, not including drinks. The views were nice and we were able to watch a lovely sunset. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items off their menu!”

The Mac pizza was a hit with the kids, the New York white was a little more “adult” but my husband and I both agreed that the Mac n cheese pizza was probably the best pizza we’ve ever had. “We were there before 11 am and there was only one woman working as hard as she could. Service was fast and amazing but she definitely needed a 2nd worker for the amount of customers that came in after us. Food tasted fresh and amazing. Looked even better. Very very happy with the food and service. She deserves praise and a raise. Will definitely be back. A+++ & 5 stars. Recommend ordering online and getting buy a sub get one for $1 special currently running”
