The friendly staff, the ambiance, the food, and the general vibe were great. They’re clearly well liked in the area because a lot of people were there and seemed to know the staff well! I had a simple dinner of wings and fries and they were delicious. The waitress/bartender (I forgot to catch her name) made sure I was doing okay every chance she got, no matter how much other stuff was going on. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely come back!“

“Dining in is your best option. Service is always good, even when they're busy. Take out ordering is another story. The last 2 times I ordered take out I waited 15-20 minutes past the time they said it would be ready.“

“Great food, I tried the mini burgers and fries, my husband got the terminator sub and he said it was amazing. Our server Lilly must be new but when ordering our burgers she didn’t ask what cheese we wanted, didn’t refill waters, forgot mayonnaise I requested and just generally took a long time to get our check. The hostess was very friendly and we will be back“

“I always love the experience and food from the Barn whether we get room service or visit in person. In person however is such an incredible experience and almost a journey with each course. All of the staff are all so pleasant and Chef Austin is a master at his craft. The hospitality is unmatched. I cannot wait to come back.“

“This was the BEST German food I have ever had in my life my mother got the beef tips and they were the greatest she’s ever had the portions are HUMONGOUS! It can be a little pricy for it but if you want to treat yo self then come here! The steaks are cut and processed by them they opened up in 1985 and we met a lady there who said back when it first opened it was extremely popular but sadly it seems they don’t get a lot of business anymore but everything is made form scratch and everything tastes amazing!! The food was very good with the steak being cooked to perfection, but the absolutely best part of our experience was our server Keiana N. We could not have asked for better service, she was extremely polite, very knowledgeable, highly professional, and a joy to talk to with a very wonderful and engaging personality. We have had very poor service at other restaurants but this was a truly great experience and we look forward to visiting your Kent, OH restaurant in the near future. “Stopped in on a whim for a burger and fries. OH MAN....am I glad we did - this was by far, one of the best, if not the best burger I have had in a very long time. My husband agreed. There was nothing at all to complain about. The bartender was our server, and he was super as well.“

Literally was going through one of the hardest times of my life and between the bartenders to cooks they all welcomed me with open arms and been nothing besides a vessel of love that had a ear to listen and a heart to care. You can clearly see that the people who work here are all very genuine, authentic, caring people. I don’t drink much but even with that being said the food and entertainment that they offer is the best compared to local places near by. “We wait to go here. Needed tractor parts and waited til they were open. Love this restaurant Good food, great employees, such a big selection I have trouble deciding what to order. We always get a pizza to take home for next meal. Pizza is not made like this in most shops. This is so close to where we have to stop we are sure to include time to have a meal. Bless the owners for such a nice place to relax and enjoy the great food.“

“While I was initial annoyed that the meal took too long to come out. There were items missing and I had to go get my kids bbq sauce because it took forever. We walked out of there with an experience I couldn’t been more grateful for. Our server Meagan (I believe) asked my kids if they’d like a sticker. These weren’t company stickers, she said I have extra stickers in my purse. She hurried away and brought back animal stickers! My kids were so happy and talked about how nice she was the whole night home! It made a frustrating experience worth it!“

“My server was Grace. She was exceptional! Friendly but to the point (my favorite combo), and everything came out pronto. She had multiple tables, and hustled it the whole time. I was checked on at least every 7 or 8 minutes. The food was just as good as the service. This was an exceptional Bob Evans visit for me.“

“Food and waitress were great but not happy with what we saw!!!! Minus 1 started because the manager, Shelby, was reprimanding our waitress (I’m not going to mentioned her name) in front of multiple customers in different locations of the restaurant. Our waitress was doing a great job, she was handling multiple tables and every time we saw her gone Shelby seemed to be yelling at her AND other employees. Shelby came over to our table and asked if we were looking for our waitress when we weren’t and she asked if we needed boxes because we were basically done eating but we were chatting at our table. It seemed as if she was fishing for us to say something bad about our waitress (who was so sweet and got us anything we needed when she was available). Shelby did this to another table beside us as well. We could tell our waitress was getting frustrated and upset, which honestly of course because of how she was being treated and talked to! Our waitress was not new either and had been at Paninis for sometime. If Shelby was trying to provide her guidance, she could have talked to her separately away from customers and not try to make it seem like she was doing a terrible job because she wasn’t. My card was accidentally charged for my meal and another meal at our table and I honestly think it was because the manager was yelling at her while she was cashing us out (we saw it). It was no big deal, our waitress fixed it, no problem. The problem was the manager! Someone at our table confronted the manager about her attitude as well. I feel bad for the employees experiencing the rude demeanor of Shelby. If you are working in higher authority, provide guidance without needing to try and shame a person in front of the public!!!! The table beside us even said they thought Shelby was being very rude to her. To our waitress, you were great and I will happily be back for your service. To Shelby - learn proper etiquette in a management role and proper corrective teaching moments to your employees.“
