“Went to AMC saw a scary movie, thinking what for dinner when over. Had stopped earlier in the week, experience was fantastic was looking forward to another visit. Alas, parked and started to go in and sit down, but door was locked at 7 o'clock when closing was 8 PM. So went to drive thru. Young lady very friendly. Got home and chicken/broccoli salad was very delicious 😋 😍. Shame I couldn't get in, wanted a container for Sunday brunch/supper. But still loved it“

“Today was my first visit to Izzy's and it definitely will not be the last. They get you from the moment you open the door. The smell and the warm welcome. That was enough to make me want to come back. But then I got the Ruben. I feel like I need to share this to help explain how great this ruben was, I am going through chemo treatments right now, and one of the side effects is a very sensitive mouth, like no hot (temperature) no spicy food, no acidic foods. So as you could imagine, that Ruben tore my mouth up. But it was so worth it. It hit the spot. I'd order another one tomorrow if I wasn't 2 hours away. We'll be back. For those potato cakes, apple sauce and another Ruben. And! The great service.“

“I don't get Penn Station like I used to. Older and can't handle the calories as often as I'd like. But when I want a Reuben, I go straight to Forest Park Penn Station. Haven't been disappointed yet. I get extra meat, extra cheese on the multigrain roll. Scrumptious! That multigrain roll is what you need. I usually pick up at the window. I have eaten inside. The place is clean and the people were friendly and professional. And the bathroom was clean! Service at the window was just as inside. I don't have a complaint about the price cause everything everywhere is high. My only complaint is why have restaurants stopped cutting sandwiches? If you're driving or just not going home, you have to hold the whole thing to take a bite. Please cut the sandwiches/hoagies.👍🏾“

Although I’ve never a manager threaten to cut off someone’s fingers because they forgot to add a seasoning to a sandwich, then threaten to send them home if they forget again. Praise in public, criticize in private. Small restaurant with everyone in earshot, everyone heard the comments from the manager to the whom I believe was a fairly new employee. It is all so tasty. moderately priced, and "out of this world" delicious. In addition to eating to your content is the seating arrangements. “I changed my review from 2-star to a 5-star. There was an issue with my order, and it happened a couple of times. At first, I didn't think much about it - stuff happens. People are making sandwiches and sometimes orders are a bit off. But when it repeated, I ended up writing a poor review.

The store manager immediately followed up and called me about the issue. He was very courteous, and to me, it speaks volumes about how he does care about his service and the customers. I feel bad to have harshly judged the establishment, but I think in the end we are all better for it. The store hopefully is more careful in making their orders, and I probably will think before I write a harsh review. I'll definitely do business with this store and recommend it to others.

I had a 9” Turkey-Bacon sub, French Fries, and lemonade. The sub was heavenly, right off the grill fresh. The French fries were perfect, not too much salt and some had a little skin still on them. The lemonade was also good. It tasted fresh squeezed, without a heavy, sugary aftertaste. I was the only one there so there was no delay between food preparation and eating. Since the Turkey-Bacon sub was on special, the price was right too. I throughly enjoyed lunch.“

So I called McAlister’s to let them know since I already paid for it, if they’d just hold it for me until my wife got off work, I’d come get it & just have it as leftovers. Zach answered the phone & said, “I gotta go to the bank anyway, so how about I just drop it off at your house.” Talk about above & beyond customer service! He even gave me a VIP card for a free meal when he dropped my food off. Everyone there is always so nice. I just love my local McAlister’s.“
